Adventures of Caelereth

OK.  Guest Stars in Destiny will be needed for Chapter One (as well as others later).  These gust roles will be a bit narrow in scope, as what we need wil be clearly defined.  Your role will be mapped out to a certain degree, though, how you fullfill that role will be up to you.

For the town of Strata, we will be needing the following guest stars:

A Pirate.  Preferably a bit on the evil side (like there are a lot of good pirates) :P  Will be needed again later in the story.

A Shendar guide.  This character must have knowledge of Strata.  If you are interested, can be used for the first three Chapters. (possibly becoming a full fledge party member if circumstances allow)


Should you decide to apply for a guest spot, I will PM you the role requirements, and we can discuss how you will play this.  As well, if your role will become a recurring one (such as the pirate above) then I will have you give me permission to puppet your character at a future date if you are no longer active on the boards.  Of course, no harm will come to any character puppeted in this fashion.

Hey Altario, Garret, I would like to play the one or the other guest char. Unfortunately I'm away till Sunday, so I can't jump in right now or at least only with a small post and then vanishing again, before you get me. (you will know, what I mean if I'm allowed to join ;) )

I would propose a short interaction (if you are not already on the way) for Lori Lo (http://www.santharia.com/adv/index.php?topic=606.0) or Ana'Mirl (http://www.santharia.com/adv/index.php?topic=608.0) in the Herald, they could lead through Strata, but not through the desert... if you don't find anybody else. As far as I know, there is only one Shendar Guide char... you would need a NPC.

A short interaction with Minoki would be cool as well, now that she has not managed to get into the Frozen Wastes.

IF you get no Shendar Guide and IF I should have a little time, I could dig out "my" Shendar Guides I did for another story, both are not approved though. I had planned a Shendar grandmother accompanied by her 'apprentice' grandson .

My posts will however be not so long and well written as those I'm reading when peeking in your stories! I only can promise to do the spellcheck!

One thing I can do if you need it while crossing the desert - provide you with some landscape descriptions. After all, you can't look in my head ;)


You could of course visit Talia and her family in the Jewels! I think I might be there, maybe even Ta'las.

Ta'las could be that Shendar Guide, ask him, if he is interested in another story.

I had hoped against hope that something in here might intrigue you and I would hear from you.  I have looked at Lori and Ana, both of which would be great for a guest spot as a guide from the TH to Strata and around that city. 

Where I really wanted a guide was from Strata north through Uderza and on to Varcopas.

As far as descriptions *pulls out can opener*  I had hoped not to have to look in your head, but I could if I needed to....

As for Minoki, keep watching the story, and perhaps there will be a guest spot where she could come into the story later  ;)

I'll send a PM over Ta'las' way to see if anything here appeals to him.  If not, perhaps I'll push you toward getting those guides approved.

Well, if you haven't already found a willing pirate, then maybe Eric could be used?  He's not really evil, merely misunderstood; but I'm flexible, and could play him as required for this story.  If you think it's a good idea, then PM me.  (It's probably best to PM Yurie Yileen, as I'm more active with that pseudonym).   :)

Well, no I have not had a pirate jump out of the woodwork yet, so to speak.  So, if you wish to bring Eric on board (excuse the pun  :buck:) then I would love to have him.

It is a bit darker role than perhaps he is suited to, but we can discuss this more so in PM or in the Mod Forum.

Oh fine, Altario! Which one would you prefer? Ana'Mirl or Lori Lo. it might take longer with Lori Lo, or, I could take both along, but I cannot promise, that Lori will not bring some trouble along...

One question though - why are you needing a guide through Strata, when you are in the herald anyway? To get food and equipment for your journey? For if you want to travel through the desert, you don't need to go to Strata first. Just north to the Yar'Dangs. From there on you need a guide. The route through the desert depends a bit on the season as well, as the look of the desert. If you don't want to reveal to much, just PM me. If Ta'las agrees to be the guide, I will give him some instructions in this regard.

ONE PROBLEM: I'm gone on Monday again, don't know how long it will be, but probably not more than a few days to one week and as soon as I know it I can ask my daughter to post for me when I will be back. 

We have a need for someone to lead a crime syndicate in Strata for our story.  If you have someone who could plausibly be placed in that position (and I stress plausibly because we don't want to just plop anyone here that doesn't make sense just because you have an assassin CD that isn't being used) then please drop us a line.  The role will only be until our group leaves Strata, but will negate the need for us to manage yet another NPC.
