Alrighty, folks.

I think it is time to get this show on the road. The Herald has been closed too long for my liking, and since it is an old classic to this forum, I want to see it resurrected as soon as possible.

If there is anyone who feels like they are up to the task, old or new, make yourself known!

There are only a couple of CD's that need my attention right now, there's been a bit of a lull in the stories lately, and I am practicing for a recital in Modesto that is several months away, so I have the time and energy to help right now.

If anything, I'd be happy to enter my character into the storyline and help revive the Thirsty Herald. I'm guessing you're going to moderate it, Kalina, and am sure that out of me, Ridgen, Deklitch, Jenna, Ylava, and Jhaela, at least one or two of us would be up to helping you run the Thirsty Herald.

Edit: Oh yes, and before I forget, I'd suggest that we bring in Kareesh into this project, because she said not so long ago that she is going to be back with us for a while. This would be a good opportunity for her to start participating in this site again.

Actually, I can help Moderate it, but I would prefer if others would step up to possibly do it as my work schedule can be quite hectic and uncertain because of new responsibilities. It would be great practice for anyone who wants to gain experience, as a tavern can be fairly self-explanatory unless you bring in a complicated storyline.

Then I'll gladly volunteer to do some moderating. I'll definitely be able to make a big push during this and the next few weeks, and hopefully by then there will be more help as well. I do know for sure that Ylava is pretty decent at directing a plot line towards a fight scene, given what Ylava posted in the Banshee tavern.

I'd help, but I don't know if I have the experiance.

Also, if I might chime in another point that has been on my mind for the past couple of weeks:

We need to choose just 2-3 projects and stick with them now. I remember how much of a hubub Drea made with her palace project, how much of a hubub you made with the Banshee, and a person's screen name and story escapes my mind at the moment (the story that started out about a funeral service).

I mean, just think about how much manpower has sporadically made it's way in and out of this site in the past couple of months.

Yeah. The Herald is a staple of this site and I would like to see it up and running again. Drasil was originally going to do it, but he has disappeared for the time being.

I would like to see 2-3 people willing to run it, with hopes to get some newer players a place to RP, since there is a distinct lack of active stories. If people are willing to help out with Herald, I can try and restart Banshee with fresh players.

I know what you mean about Palace...it started quite well and then just collapsed because she dissappeared. As for the Herald though, I think it can be successful! I'm willing if you two are!

Again, I would prefer not to help run it if it can be avoided with enough interest. As being the only Admin, there are a lot of things which need my attention right now to get this place running again.

If you two are interested in running it, great! Hopefully I can get at least 1-2 more people interested, so that if something happens to one or two of the mods, we still have enough people to keep the place moving.

I know this isn't to do with the Herald, however the Palace was mentioned in here, so here goes. :D I PMed the mods of the palace with a proposal a few weeks ago. I haven't heard anything back from them ... I'm not sure where to go to from here.
