Title: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on March 07, 2011, 03:57:55 AM Posted... finally.
I purposely left the time out of Strata blank as well as how close we were to Thalambath. I'll leave that for Dru to decide. I placed someone awake at the end of my post, but again left this blank. Whoever wishes to can post themselves reacting to Altario. I'll be around more, and have missed Destiny immensely. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Toama SorInyt on March 08, 2011, 03:50:46 AM I hope this is ok. Since I am the first to past after Alt, I decided to be the one awake ^.^
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on March 09, 2011, 11:51:31 AM An announcement:
We are pleased to welcome Talas to the Destiny story. Most of you will know Talas from his role in the long running Thalambath's Heart story. We welcome his talant and writing style to our team. :) Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on March 10, 2011, 06:24:09 AM Welcome to Destiny, Talas!

Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Capher on March 11, 2011, 02:22:45 AM Hi my good friends.
I hope this small message reaches you all. I have been dealing with severe depression and being enhanced by one of the medication's I was taking. My doctor's have taken me off that medication and I will be put on a different one, a pill called Gilenya. It has some serious side effects for some people, but they are rare, however since this is the newest drug out there, there is not that much information except from the clinical trials. I will be going through some tests, then if I pass I will be able to begin the new treatment. I know that I left you suddenly and without an explanation and I apologize; depression is something akin to admitting you are an addict or something, at least it was to me. Now with help and being taken off the medication that my doctors said helped worsen the depression I am getting back to my old self again and hopefully will be back writing on the boards again, if you still want me that is? Take care all of you; Capher. P.S. Congrats, Talas. Destiny is a great story to be in. I hope that you will find it as good and fascinating as TH. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Irid alMenie on March 11, 2011, 02:33:51 AM Capher, my friend, you will always find a welcome in Santharia, no matter how extended or sudden your absence. We just hope you're getting better, and we send our prayers and well wishes your way. I don't think there's a soul on these forums that would not want to get you back :)
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on March 12, 2011, 02:51:29 AM Of course we still want you, Capher. As someone who's dealt with depression on and off for years, I know what you're going through on that front. It can really sap your energy. I hope you'll feel better soon.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: grallen gast on March 13, 2011, 11:43:11 PM Great to hear things are looking up for you Capher, and can only hope they continue to do so, you're very much missed.
also, hi Talas! looking forward to seeing your arrival in destiny. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Capher on March 21, 2011, 11:39:32 PM I sent a couple of ideas to Alt on how to get Damien back into the story, just waiting for a reply. I hope he is well, as all of you.
Thank you so much for the warm welcomes and understanding. Damien. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on March 22, 2011, 10:00:26 PM I am sorry to read you were in a bad place, Capher. I'm glad that you're better, and it's great to have you back!

Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on April 03, 2011, 03:30:07 PM Sorry for not being around. Been pretty busy lately. I'll try and get a post up soon.

Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Toama SorInyt on April 23, 2011, 12:46:09 AM I'm just kind of assuming that somewhere between waking up and talking to Lilli, I packed up my stuff and tied it to my horse ^.^ Here's to hoping posting picks up again :D
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on April 23, 2011, 02:17:21 AM Heh, from nothing in a month to 3 in a day. Woohoo. :D I'll see if I can make it four. Hopefully Dru will start posting, or I might have to improvise Thalambath, which would be a shame as Dru had the ideas for it.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on April 23, 2011, 06:39:49 AM Quote Heh, from nothing in a month to 3 in a day. ... 4 ... :azn:Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on April 23, 2011, 06:03:17 PM  Would have been 5, but......
Was tired, had post nearly finished, then went to look something up, did not change tabs and lost my post. Again. One day I will learn. Or not. :buck: Too tired to try again, will rewrite tomorrow. Great posts, all. Am enjoying. Oh, my post will jump time a bit. I don't want to completely bog down in dialogue. This IS an adventure story, afterall. :P So, those wishing to add to the conversation being held, post quickly, hehe. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Toama SorInyt on April 23, 2011, 07:59:35 PM There, I added my bit. We can jump in time now all you want! :D
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on April 24, 2011, 12:06:55 AM Won't be a big jump, same day. ;)
Sent you a PM, Toama, to your main alt. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on April 24, 2011, 12:10:32 AM By all means, move the story forwards. I like the conversation with Toama, and it certainly could go on, but there'll always be a chance for talk in one way or another, whereas it's easy sometimes to have too little action.
Go Destiny! Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on April 24, 2011, 12:28:25 AM Well, even with my post, a person could continue their conversation with the first half of their post, then jump time and finish their post in Altario's present. :D
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on April 24, 2011, 12:31:28 AM I know a person who might do just that.
Nice post count there, Alt! Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Irid alMenie on April 24, 2011, 12:36:34 AM This one, Alt? Cause... that wasn't a very long pm :P
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on April 24, 2011, 12:48:51 AM Sent another. That was just to get your attention, heh. ;)
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Damien Scar on April 24, 2011, 07:57:04 AM I will as my health permits continue what I have started. Alt, if you could pm me with the information I asked, I would appreciate it, thanks.
P.S. I really like reading your posts. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on April 25, 2011, 06:47:22 PM Welcome back to Destiny, Damien. Nice to read a post from you again.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on April 25, 2011, 06:54:43 PM Question: I'm unsure about what to do about the Shendar guide. Is this an NPC (and up for puppeting?), or is it Talas?
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on April 25, 2011, 07:28:54 PM Toama, in my last IC post I made a few (hopefully mild) assumptions about how Lili's and Toama's conversation went on. Let me know if you want me to change anything!
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Damien Scar on April 25, 2011, 11:18:55 PM Thank you Lili. I really enjoy reading all of your posts. I have looked at the map and as much as I enlarge it I cannot figure out how long it would take for you guys and gals to get to Thalambath? Is it just days, or a week or longer? I tried reading the scale, but my eyesight has become worse and it is very difficult to read. The reason I ask is because the time it takes will determine what I write in my next post. Also I have to figure out how fast it would take a ship to get to Thalambath from Strata.
Anyway if anyone can help me I would appreciate it. Oh, and I have checked the dev side and I could not find out anywhere how tall the volcano is that Thalambath is built next to. In fact I could not find anything geographical about any of the mountains, I.E. Tallest peak of the mountain ranges, what it is named, or the lowest part of Caelereth (like Death Valley in the U.S.) The longest river, largest lake...etc. Perhaps I was just not looking in the right places, if any of you know where that information might be could you send it along to me either by pm or here in the OOC? I would appreciate that as well. Thanks, Damien. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on April 26, 2011, 03:53:45 AM I don't have an answer to the question about travel times, but the Norong'Sorno volcano is 11,000 ped high, and is the highest mountain in Southern Sarvonia. See the entry on the Rahaz-Dath, section "Different Parts" (http://www.santharia.com/places/rahaz-dath.htm#Different Parts). There's a nice picture there, too ...
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Damien Scar on April 26, 2011, 10:30:37 PM Thank you Lili for the information...Wow, Talia really put some work into that, and not just work but intelligent work, very precise and detailed. I applaud that entry. I know there are probably hundreds of entries that are the same written by other people and I applaud them as well. I need to start reading more entries and the more I read the more I get lost, as some entires are being reworked and others are adding to existing ones....It is a difficult task to say the least.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Toama SorInyt on April 27, 2011, 04:09:14 AM Altario, is it ok if I puppet 1) the shendar guide and 2) everyone in the group (just a little bit)? And if I make some assumptions about the preparations we had taken before entering the desert?
Of course if I should happen to make anyone act against their character I would be happy to change anything at all, I just want to be clear that this is a possibility, before I type up a post just to have to change the whole thing ;) So, permission asked ^.^ Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on April 27, 2011, 05:47:46 AM Permission granted, from my side. :)

Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: grallen gast on April 27, 2011, 08:31:28 PM same here!
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Damien Scar on April 28, 2011, 12:17:28 AM Okay, I got the map of Sarvonia large enough to read the scale and accordingly it looks like one inch is 300. The question I have is 300 what? Are we talking strals? Then if that is the case the distance between Strata and Thalambath is approx 600 strals. How far can you guys travel in the desert in a day? Knowing that answer will help me with my next post. So if you could even guess, and give a number I would appreciate it.
Thanks, Damien. I found out the distance, it means furlays, which is 6 leagues, or a day's ride. Therefore, you take approx 600 Furlays as the distance between Strata and Thalambath you have 600 days?? That does not seem right. Maybe the distance on the scale means leagues, which would put the distance between the two cities approx 3600 leagues. So you have to divide that number by 6 which gives you an answer of 600 leagues, divide that number by 6,(a day's travel) and you end up with 100 days?? Does that seem right to you all or am I all confused as usual? Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on April 28, 2011, 12:56:58 AM Hi Damien,
I think you are overestimating the distance. Have a look at Talia's thread on the Dev Forum: Developers' Distances (http://www.santharia.com/dev/index.php/topic,12613.msg150662.html#msg150662). This gives the distance between Cape Strata and Thalambath as 625 strals (=625 km). Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Damien Scar on April 28, 2011, 01:22:11 AM I had no idea that Talia had done that. What a tremendous help that will be. So now we just have to divide 625 by 6 which is 1.3 days travel. To me that does not seem very far?
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on April 28, 2011, 02:29:04 AM Hi Damien,
I don't want to pre-empt what the story moderators or Talia may have determined already, but here are a few considerations that may help to work out an approximate time. First of all, even though the distance between Cape Strata and Thalambath is 625 strals as the crow flies, the distance one actually needs to travel through a roadless desert is probably considerably longer: there are dunes that one needs to go up and down or circumvent, and water holes are probably not conveniently lined up on the shortest route. Also, if we get in a sandstorm, we may of course lose our way, making the actual distance travelled even longer. So, say our group needs to cover an actual distance of some 700 strals maybe? The time it takes to travel this distance will then depend on (1) how much distance you can cover on a good day; (2) how many days you cannot travel (eg because of sandstorms, exhaustion, someone's horse being injured and needing a rest, etc. etc.). We certainly can't assume that travel through a pathless desert will be as quick as travel on a trading road. A wikipedia article on desert travel by camel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camel_train) suggests that a group could travel between 16-40 kilometers (=strals) on a good day. If we assume that our group had relatively good conditions and could maybe cover 25 strals a day, this would translate into a travel time of about a month. (700 strals distance divided by 25 strals travelled per day = 28 days.) (In contrast, if we wanted to be more optimistic and estimate the speed at 40 strals a day, this would translate into 17.5 days travel time.) I hope this helps? Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Toama SorInyt on April 28, 2011, 03:57:46 AM Don't forget that at the time we're posting, we've already been travelling through the desert some days, though I'm not sure how many :)
I hope my post is ok for everyone! If not, I'm happy to change anything ^.^ Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on April 28, 2011, 04:55:39 AM Great post, I thought!
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on April 28, 2011, 11:46:39 AM Yeah, I'm trying to avoid overly detailing the trip with actual days, etc. A simple, several days, weeks, etc, I think should be good enough. The "feel" is more important to me than the exactness of it. This is a story, not a compendium entry, so I draw different levels of scrutiny.
BTW, excellent post, Toama. Setting us up for an exciting scene. :) Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ta'lia of the Seven Jewels on April 29, 2011, 07:06:00 AM Hi all! :)
I missed, that the story was running again, I got no email- forwarding as I get it for the dev board. I checked it today, altered my email and hope it will work now. Gladly Altario mailed me today! Thanks Alt! I would like to join in with my Shendar-Guide-Pair, but not right now. You can keep your Fake-Shendar guide for a while ;) (How could you engage a man who does not know how to prepare for a sandstorm, you should have asked Ana'Mirl to look for one for you, now you got a Stratanian thug... beware!) I wonder, how he managed to get through the Yar Dangs! I'm quite busy right now and in the near future (and need to play that Santhworld!), but I think I will join you in Thalambath, at least when you start your journey through the desert. Let's find a reason, why the best ever guide will lead your unimportant group... maybe you rescued her grandson from evil Thalambathians? Ok, enough for today. :) I loved your posts, especially the one or other remark which really surprised me and made me laugh! Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on April 29, 2011, 09:44:34 AM Ha ha, Talia, you read my mind, though I won't tell you how....yet. :P
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Toama SorInyt on April 30, 2011, 06:46:32 PM Hum. Even before Grallen mentioned in her post, I completely forgot about the whole cart, and how it would help/hinder us... SO! I'll just add a little something about that to my post ^.^
Edit: There we go! :D Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on May 01, 2011, 04:20:32 PM Writing my post. Had to change it a bit in light of Lili's post, but will overcome. Minor puppeting, but nothing major coming.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on May 02, 2011, 12:04:31 AM Okay, posted. If you all want to post riding out the storm, probably later that night or next morning (up to you guys), then I'll post to clarify the mystery. :)
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ta'lia of the Seven Jewels on May 02, 2011, 02:21:06 AM I forgot to mention in my last post, that I loved how you described the Norong'Sorno! It pleases a developer, that others have caught what she was thinking while writing that piece. :)
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Toama SorInyt on May 02, 2011, 03:19:42 AM I hope I didn't forget anyone, I only included the people who actively posted since we entered the desert I think ^.^
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on May 02, 2011, 03:27:57 AM That is fine, Toama. I decided the Shendar guide could no longer be Talas. If Talas decides o join, he can join us in Thalambath. If Dru returns, we can assume she was there and pouting (hehe), and you can just add one name to your post.
And I don't think any woman who meets Altario thinks highly of men in general afterwards, heh. :D Glad you like the Norong Sorno, Talia. :D I'm trying to use different entries to help build atmosphere. As we travel, there will be others, as well. :) Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on May 02, 2011, 05:55:43 AM Intriguing!
I'll give Grallen a chance to catch up and post before me if she likes. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: fionn on May 02, 2011, 07:47:21 AM wow, developments! I'll try and get a post together tomorrow.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on May 02, 2011, 11:25:11 PM I'm very very sorry for my continual absence.
Life has been fairly busy lately. Just recently finished reformatting my computer after getting a bad virus. I've been trying to get time to post a few times but every time I do I just get distracted by things. I'll try and get something up eventually but my time is very spread thin right now. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on May 02, 2011, 11:37:50 PM Sorry to hear about the virus! I'm glad you're still around, Drustai. By the time I saw your OOC post, I'd already written my story post. I've not mentioned your character for now, but of course am happy to change things if that's the best way of bringing you back in.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on May 02, 2011, 11:39:35 PM I'm thinking Dru might have been off on her own for a bit, makes things easier than trying to squeeze her in. So once I catch up with the posts I can have her come back in.
Depends on how much time has passed ICly though. If it's the same day then that works, if it's been several then I'll think of something else. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ta'lia of the Seven Jewels on May 03, 2011, 01:27:21 AM Hello Dru! Buy a Mac! ;)
It is definitely not the same day. They are all already in the sandy part of the desert with the volcano in sight. That makes at least three or more weeks later. Maybe you had to do some other things first and told the group, you would catch up with them later (being quicker than the cart.) Now you could rescue Alt, being the last person he wants to be rescued by. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on May 03, 2011, 06:18:05 AM Hello Dru! If he'd be okay with that, that works for me. :) Since it was a timejump, too, she could have been with the group for most of those three weeks, and just went separately for like, a day or two previous to this. Since with a desert, three weeks separate would be odd. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on May 03, 2011, 09:16:15 AM Of course I'm good with that. :) If that is what you want, I''ll PM you the details.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Damien Scar on May 05, 2011, 10:46:36 PM Alt I pm'd you with a question awhile ago but received no answer. So I will ask it here. Did I find out anything about Naryiss or your brother or did I come up empty? If I did find out something, even if it seems trivial and you want me to know than pm me the details, or else just post here, "you came up empty," Damien.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on May 06, 2011, 09:39:13 AM I think it best if you came up empty. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Irid alMenie on May 24, 2011, 03:34:22 PM That's exactly what I was going to ask ;) Should we find the bandit camp or should we try to make our way out of the desert?
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on May 24, 2011, 09:22:02 PM I figured you guys would be able to see the dome from the hill you were on (it looks like a shendar dome (http://www.santharia.com/tribes/humans/shendar_housing.htm)).
@Altario: We're in one of the side rooms, as you can see from that page. So Te-oh and the sorcerer were not outside the tent, they were just in the main room. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on June 04, 2011, 04:59:25 PM Cool. How many days in Calgary?
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Irid alMenie on June 04, 2011, 07:00:02 PM Just the first day and the morning of the second. We'll be in Banff pretty quickly after that. Why, you wanna meet up? :P
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on June 04, 2011, 07:20:41 PM Maybe. :) Mondays aren't the best days for me because of work, but if we could arrange something, I'd be up for it.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Capher on June 05, 2011, 02:54:38 AM Sounds like fun, hope you have a great trip Irid and perhaps it would be nice to see Altario, or maybe not... :rolling:
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Irid alMenie on June 05, 2011, 05:16:03 PM Alt, we land around 4 pm local time, so if you see a hole in your agenda somewhere monday evening that would be nice, or otherwise tuesday before noon (not sure what your hours are) :)
Edit: feel free to puppet Toama, so long as she doesn't lose any more limbs ;) Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on June 05, 2011, 10:47:54 PM Hey Grallen - am I right in supposing that the secret compartment is large enough for you to hide in, and that you can open it from the inside? Or were you thinking of simply hiding among the provisions on the back of the cart?
At any rate, since Toama has given us permissiong for puppeting, maybe I could bring the whole group down towards the Shendar dome in my next post? Toama, about your limbs: my lawyers told me not to sign anything that would imply legal liability. So we'll have to see... Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: grallen gast on June 05, 2011, 11:58:01 PM Yes, I was working on the assumption that the compartment is just big enough for her to squeeze in, though she'll likely be very grumpy when she gets out. ;) and moving things on is fine by me!
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on June 05, 2011, 11:59:48 PM Good! :)
How did your presentation/exam go? Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: grallen gast on June 06, 2011, 12:04:04 AM ummm... alright, I guess. I probably shouldn't have been in charge of technology. :P but I now have much more time to devote to Santh, at last!
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on June 06, 2011, 03:51:52 PM This weekend has been very busy for me. I'll try and get a post up in a day or two.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on June 06, 2011, 04:13:17 PM Irid, oh oh, looks like 3 days of rain. Bad luck. :(
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on June 10, 2011, 04:48:38 AM Hey Alt and Irid - did you manage to meet up in the end?
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on June 10, 2011, 09:15:22 AM No, I worked late Monday night, as we were shorthanded at work. I texted Irid, but we weren't sure it would go through here, and as I didn't get a reply, I figured it didn't. :(
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on June 13, 2011, 07:14:37 AM Shame the meeting didn't work out, Altario.
Unfortunately, it's unlikely that I'll find the time to post in the next eight days or so. Anyway, at the moment I'd be stuck to know what to post next. Should our party wait for a reaction from inside the dome? Or should we try to enter (which would be Lili's natural next step, if she hears or sees nothing to detract her)? But if we entered, what would we see? Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on June 13, 2011, 11:49:55 AM Anyway, at the moment I'd be stuck to know what to post next. Should our party wait for a reaction from inside the dome? Or should we try to enter (which would be Lili's natural next step, if she hears or sees nothing to detract her)? But if we entered, what would we see? I considered writing a reaction in my post, but I wasn't sure if you had written your previous post with the intention of getting a reaction so I decided to hold off. If you'd like, I can write a reaction of them overhearing the conversation outside. If you entered, you'd see what I described in my post describing the inside. The highwaymen inside would be doing some work of some sort, conversing, possibly preparing a meal or organizing supplies, etc. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on June 21, 2011, 12:42:38 AM Hi Dru,
No need to write a reaction to Lili's post. We can take it from here, I think. Am I right in supposing that I shouldn't puppet the brigands? And are there only three of them - two brigands and one sorcerer? Or are there more? Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on June 21, 2011, 12:45:56 AM Yeah, you shouldn't puppet them. I'll be GMing them.
There's four. Sorcerer, two brigands, and Te-oh. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on June 21, 2011, 12:49:15 AM Thanks!
Will post this week. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on June 22, 2011, 09:55:45 AM Have a post in the works. Couple of late nights at work, so not making quick progress, but still making progress. :D
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on June 27, 2011, 05:14:24 AM I permitted myself a bit of indirect puppeting there, Grallen. Hope it's all right?
And Drustai & Alt, if any of my descriptions contradict what you had in mind, of course I'll change. By the way, do the bandits have any mounts standing outside their dome? Aj'nuviks? Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ta'lia of the Seven Jewels on June 27, 2011, 05:41:39 AM Only Shendar can have ai'nuvics. there may be rare occasions where somebody outside from the tribe has such a lifetime partner, but that bandits seem not to have the patience to get one.
If it is a true Shendar dome, it would be made out of the skin of the Rahaz-Estar and quite lightweight , thin and a bit shiny. I guess it is none ;). I need to revamp all my old stuff! Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Capher on June 28, 2011, 11:19:26 PM Lili, very very nice post. I could the suspense as I read it.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on June 29, 2011, 05:37:51 AM Thanks, Capher! :D
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: grallen gast on June 29, 2011, 08:28:23 PM I puppeted Toama a bit there, hope that's alright. also, assumed Grallen would be able to hear some signs of life in the tent. if there's anything needing changing, just yell. :)
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on June 30, 2011, 04:44:08 AM Dear moderators,
Would you object to the idea that Lili finds the tent with the prisoners? Also, I wonder how you would like to play the timeline. From the way we told the story, I would guess that Toama, Grallen and Lili would have arrived at the dome at least a couple of hours after the bandits. If that was so, Dru's last post would describe a moment in time considerably earlier than the three women's arrival. Do you want us non-mods to wait with posting to allow you to catch up, or shall we bend spacetime a bit for the sake of moving on with the story? Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Irid alMenie on July 01, 2011, 01:41:39 AM I'm back guys! :) But off to a festival again this weekend so I'll wait with a post until Lili's question has been answered and I have time again.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on July 02, 2011, 06:56:01 AM wb Irid.
Lili, I'd prefer to wait for Altario to get his post out. I'll also let him determine if you are looking inside our tent, since he can always notice it in the post. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on July 02, 2011, 12:31:07 PM Tonight or tomorrow, promise. We were two guys short almost all week, and with it being end of the month, I was swamped. But, Happy Canada day today!! Long weekend, so I'll get something out. Post is started already.
WB Irid. :) Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Capher on July 06, 2011, 01:07:51 AM WB Irid :) I hope you took a lot of pictures and have a great time at your festival.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on July 18, 2011, 01:49:17 PM Posted, though it was rubbish. Don't know why, but that little piece of dung was the hardest post I've ever had to write. I just could not come up with anything. :(
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on July 19, 2011, 02:59:21 AM I thought your post was perfectly fine, my friend. Don't be so hard on yourself. Sometimes the posts where it's kinda obvious what your character will do next are the hardest to write, I find.
For the time when I return and can post again, may I draw your attention to my question (http://www.santharia.com/adv/index.php?topic=7959.msg288289#msg288289)? Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on July 19, 2011, 01:45:43 PM I'm personally fine with it, unless Dru had some elaborate plan for our escape. I know I don't. :)
I think the problem was that at work I am writing dry assembly manuals for our production department. It has sapped my creativity somewhat, I think. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Irid alMenie on August 09, 2011, 01:34:39 AM Grallen, I am trying to come up with a post for Toama, but I'm kind of stuck, I'm not sure what you meant in your last post? Especially the part in red, what exactly did you mean by that?
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: grallen gast on August 09, 2011, 10:08:03 PM Argh, sorry Irid, it’s not a great post is it? basically Grallen is listening at the tent, trying to work out if anyone’s in there – she thinks she can hear something. But can’t tell how many. I puppeted Toama a bit in that she had the idea of scraping away some of the sand at the base of the tent so they could peek in – if Lili has a chance of seeing in from the back, she thought they could maybe do the same here. Grallen stands guard over her while she digs, and I left it there.
If that’s still unclear just yell, I’m really not very impressed by that post, I think I wrote it in a rush. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Toama SorInyt on August 11, 2011, 09:31:57 PM Not a very long post, but something is better than nothing, I guess ;)
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Capher on August 13, 2011, 03:28:12 AM I am back!!! To answer some of your questions; yes, the wedding was beautiful, I sang, but started crying, yet still finished the song, San Diego, California was interesting place to visit. My son and his bride are still on their honeymoon. I have to unpack and do laundry...will post as soon as possible.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: grallen gast on August 13, 2011, 07:45:57 PM welcome back, and congratulations again, Capher!
Another fairly short post - I had Grallen miscalculate how many were in the tent, as it seemed unlikely she'd get the exact number. if there's a problem with any of that let me know and i'll change it. :) Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Capher on August 15, 2011, 08:18:25 PM Thanks Grallen. I cannot believe that summer is almost over. Damien will post soon.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on August 24, 2011, 05:09:37 AM I'll be trying to get up a post soon. Been very busy, BF is over from Sweden. He is leaving tomorrow so I should have more time after that.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on August 24, 2011, 09:15:44 AM And I'll post right after that. I'm back in the game. Move is over. Commute is halved. Workload has eased. :)
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Capher on August 25, 2011, 01:39:23 AM Sounds great Altario :)
Drustai...and here I thought you were available. ;) I guess Altario will still have to look more.  Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on August 27, 2011, 05:23:03 AM ... and I'm back from my journey and ready to rumble ... :)

Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on September 09, 2011, 03:28:03 AM Looking forward to it, Dru! :D
I hope you're busy with interesting stuff, rather than snowed under with work and obligations (like so many people are, unfortunately). Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Capher on September 13, 2011, 01:24:50 AM Has the story stalled? I cannot keep Damien on the ship forever, well perhaps I could. ;) though I would rather not. You know come to think of it, since Damien would arrive in Thalambath sooner over water than over land, perhaps I should think of a post and go along until we meet somehow.
I do not know what or even where this side plot all fits in in the overall scheme of things, but if these bad guys are somehow connected with the leader of the gang that is pulling all of the strings in the underground, perhaps a post or two or three or whatever, would catch this leader's attention and he would go after Damien, especially if he starts asking around about Alt's brother or his daughter. However if that is not how the admin's of this story want it that way, then I will just stay on ship. Or at the very least post that I am in Thalambath and wondering when and where the rest of you are? Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on September 15, 2011, 02:34:38 PM Capher, feel free to have a run in with a group of guys working for the brigands that our group is confronting. Another cell on the ship you're on, perhaps. No actual Thalam with them, just some hired thugs. Except don't treat them as common thugs, crime in Thalambath is far more subtle... think manipulation and con artistry rather than tough-guy stick-ups with swords. Trying to weasel your money out of you with a silver tongue, and such.
I am not sure if they will have any link to the Altario's brother plot at this point, but you having a simple run-in with them on the ship will allow us to better weave Damien's journey with ours once we all reach the city. @Lili: Aside from having had BF over, have also been doing a lot of work and making moving preparations (going to be moving in with BF in Sweden within a year (we hope)). So things have just been hectic. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on September 18, 2011, 05:20:05 AM My sister lives in Sweden, so I've been going there quite regularly in recent years. Not a bad place to move to at all, I'd say! Beautiful lakes, a society with more social equality than most others (and therefore less crime and more solidarity among people), and excellent ice cream!
Good luck with it all, Dru! Do you speak Swedish? I'll wait for Altario before I post. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on September 26, 2011, 12:18:42 AM Its brewing in my head as we speak. Hopefully will get it down on site today. Have to go out though. Might be flying cross country this week and might not have net access for a week or so. Company needs me to clean up a mess in another one of its facilities. Hopefully will only be a week, and not longer. Though, nothing has been confirmed yet. If I need to purge staff and not simply retrain, it could take longer. If my laptop, which got damaged, is working, I might be okay. But not sure yet.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on September 26, 2011, 10:50:41 AM I suddenly wondered... am I right to assume we are in the same tent Te-oh went to? I thought so, but he wouldn't see Lili in the cage? Or are we hidden behind crates?

Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on October 10, 2011, 10:25:29 AM Blegh. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on October 29, 2011, 08:41:44 PM Speaking of fits and starts, I could be called upon to go across country again this week. Like last time, it will be a last minute decision and I'll be internetless for up to a week.

By the way, Altario: did you take the knife that Lili offered you (http://www.santharia.com/adv/index.php?topic=7958.msg289077#msg289077), or not? Inquiringly, Lili Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on November 12, 2011, 11:03:13 PM Yes. I'll post today/tomorrow and clear that up. :D
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on November 22, 2011, 05:00:44 AM Hey, nice to see some postiness in Destiny!
I thought I'd let you all know that I've got a very busy four weeks ahead of me. I found a new job that I've already started while still serving my notice period on the old one, and I've also signed up for evening classes in mathematics, so it's all a bit frantic at the moment. Therefore, please don't wait for me with posting. I'll continue to follow the story, though, and will try to come up with a post here and there, particularly if and when a battle ensues. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on December 18, 2011, 06:23:11 AM Well, here I am, four weeks on, with my old job completed and the prospect of little windows of Santharia time ahead...
I don't know what the moderators have planned, of course, but I wonder whether a bit of IC action (instead of conversation) might help to revive interest in Destiny? I know a bird who would happily make a bit of inconvenient noise to alert a certain group of bandits to unexpected presences outside their tent? Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Irid alMenie on December 18, 2011, 06:26:49 AM I'm here too! Ready for some action, whether from a too loud bird or stealing back some items - either way, the bandits will soon know we're there, seeing as they have Altario's sword ;)
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on December 18, 2011, 07:56:42 AM I'm thinking we have to. Some kind of action to get our stuff back. I'm sure Dru has some idea of how she wants to conduct this. Dru? If she has a stealth plan I don't want to ruin it yet.
If not, yeah, that little chicken mcnugget could just blow our cover. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: grallen gast on December 22, 2011, 07:53:11 PM finally have some spare time over Christmas, so I chucked this post in. feel free to contest and stomp all over Grallen's master plans. :)

What's next? Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: grallen gast on January 04, 2012, 05:31:47 AM well I wanted to wait and give Drustai a chance to voice her irritation to being bossed around by an orc, but I can make a quick post to keep things rolling if people would rather?
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Irid alMenie on January 04, 2012, 05:33:51 AM Up to the mods, I think, because even if you post, Toama still won't have too much to do except stand guard, which will only be exciting if Lili's bird decides she's bored.

But it's also true that I don't feel the need to describe how a character waits around. I feel we've built up the suspense long enough ... :) Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Irid alMenie on January 26, 2012, 06:24:01 PM Waiting for me? Sorry! I was indeed waiting for the stealing part to be over, since I don't have much more to say than "Toama stood guard and waited." I could draw that out into two paragraphs but that'd still be the core of it.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on January 26, 2012, 07:39:11 PM No worries, Irid! I just thought I'd give you the chance to continue the conversation, if you wanted. But I agree it's probably better to remain silent - I wouldn't want to spoil things at the last moment by alerting the bandits!
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Irid alMenie on January 26, 2012, 08:00:17 PM Exactly! Just make sure your bird shares that sentiment :D
Though of course, if she calls and they come out to us, there's less change of Grallen and Drustai getting caught :P Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on January 26, 2012, 10:55:05 PM Okay, I changed my mind ...
... before I saw Irid's OOC post, actually. Great minds change alike. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Toama SorInyt on January 27, 2012, 01:25:51 AM Heh :D Posted!
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on January 30, 2012, 03:01:36 PM Posted as well. Grallen, assuming you listen to Dru and start looking through storage, when you go through the things you'll notice that Altario's sword is missing from the stock. Not much else from Dru/Altario is there I think, though there is plenty of fine goods there that could always be pilfered. <.<
People outside--you'll probably start getting antsy as no one comes out of the tent, despite the singing. And sorry for the slow speed on my posts, been hectic here lately. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Irid alMenie on January 30, 2012, 04:35:35 PM Yes, that's exactly the reason I posted about looking towards the door where the thieves were going to come out - so that I can get antsy about it when they don't. You might not believe it, but I'd actually written a sentence along the lines of how suspicious it would be if they didn't, and then deleted it because that might be exactly what was going to happen :P
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on February 06, 2012, 02:14:10 PM Quote from: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin To try and help, Altario leaned over and was about to place his hands on her rump and push, when a little voice inside warned him not to it. I would have loled if he had done this. Although Dru had actually dropped to her back and was pushing with her legs, but I ignore the discrepancy because the imagery is entertaining. :D Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on February 14, 2012, 12:16:10 PM Will get a post up by tomorrow!
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Toama SorInyt on March 02, 2012, 08:59:05 PM Ok, so now what? My inspiration is not so great that I can keep writing posts about how I'm waiting for something to happen... :)
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on March 02, 2012, 10:20:48 PM D'accord. :)
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on March 07, 2012, 02:05:52 PM Lili and Toama, will you guys be posting? Or should I go ahead with mine?
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on March 08, 2012, 07:16:35 AM Please go ahead! I like how things are progressing, but I'm sure that if this was a movie, Lili's further anxious waiting would not make it into the director's cut. :)
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Irid alMenie on March 08, 2012, 03:51:51 PM idem for Toama :)
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Irid alMenie on March 13, 2012, 07:11:17 PM :pet:
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on March 18, 2012, 07:10:21 AM
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on March 25, 2012, 02:00:33 PM Blegh, trying to make moving plans, among other stuff, is keeping me busy. Writing up a post soon.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on May 16, 2012, 05:42:55 AM It looks to me as though by the time we're ready to leave the desert, every one of our five characters is going to hate all the others.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on May 16, 2012, 07:07:09 AM I thought we did already?
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Irid alMenie on May 16, 2012, 04:31:24 PM Toama doesn't hate anyone... though I still have to explore what her reaction is to the current proceedings :D
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: grallen gast on May 30, 2012, 10:03:18 PM If it helps, Grallen already hates everyone enough for two. and sorry about the short post, there wasn't much to add, I just wanted to keep her up to date.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on June 22, 2012, 03:14:20 PM Sorry for delay, last few weeks have been really busy for me. Brother graduating and my interview with Swedish consulate-general for my move, among some other things.
Things are clearing up though so I should be able to start posting more frequently now. I'll get something written up tomorrow. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Lili the Elfcat on July 21, 2012, 09:47:56 AM Hi all,
This is just to say that I'm back from my journey. It's nice to read some new Destiny posts on my return. :D I'm not sure what I could post myself at this point - Lili will be watching and waiting for Avhan's response to Altario. Lili Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Toama SorInyt on July 26, 2012, 12:49:42 AM Same for Toama :)
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ílarolén'yliás (Drustai) on July 31, 2012, 05:11:11 PM I guess I should just write another post then? Unless Grallen wants to write something.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Irid alMenie on November 08, 2012, 08:47:18 PM *looks sadly at what remains of this story*
Any way to revive it? Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on November 08, 2012, 10:04:32 PM Yes. Might skip the Thalambath chapter if Drustai is unable to continue. :(
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Toama SorInyt on January 03, 2013, 05:27:32 PM It's been half a year since the last IC post... Has anyone tried to contact Drustai?
Is anyone still here? Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on January 03, 2013, 06:37:03 PM I have. Will do a reset and skip ahead and continue on. :(
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ta'lia of the Seven Jewels on January 09, 2013, 02:31:15 AM Then you would you need the Shendar guides, right?
How would you go on without entering Thalmbath? Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on January 09, 2013, 10:33:03 AM We start after Thalambath, with an agreement of what happened inside. For example, we entered Thalambath without incident, we traded our goods hidden in the wagon for information on Nayriss, that reveals that Denrykmar headed north from Thalambath. Now we are a week out of Thalambath looking for Rahmat.
This is just a top of my head idea. Will need to put more thought into a true posting, with everyone's input. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ta'lia of the Seven Jewels on January 09, 2013, 08:53:59 PM Hey Alt, I PM you some ideas and problems, so that there are some surprises possible for the rest of the group. For now I would propose, that you helped Ja'Far, the grandson of my my NPC Shendar guide out of some trouble in Thalambath (not played out). He tells you of his grandmother, who is right now east of Thalambath, at the place with the trees at the edge of the saltpan (darn, I forgot the name of this oasis). As you have helped him out of trouble, she is forced to lead you, otherwise she probably would not be in the mood to do it... I see interesting dialogues coming..
I'll post a description of the two soon. I first thought I do a proper CD, but maybe it is even better to just make them NPCs, so you or another member of the group can write them also, once you got how they are ticking. I'll look for some nice pics.. Shendar Guide: San'Chali Her grandson: Ja'Far Problem: Rah'mat is not always existing, just for some weeks in the year. Seems I never posted even the short intro (and had had saved it in a terribly outdated format): Quote Rahmat - hidden and mysterious capital of the Shendar, from which is said, that it isn‘t located at one place, but moving all time and hard to find - is possibly the most strangest ‚town‘ in Southern Sarvonia. As with every rumour, there is a true core. Rahmat, or Rah‘mat as it is written correctly, is a town which forms every year anew, every year in another place, but in the same region, the floodplains of the Oka‘Seri. It is called the capital of the Shendar, because all three subtribes meet there every year, to trade, to discuss political issues, to vote, to celebrate, to exchange gossip, to marry, to be together. But Rah‘mat is more than a town. Rah‘mat is an event at the same time, and when talking about Rah‘mat, more often the event is meant, and not the town. The event is the celebrations which take place during the meeting, the tournaments, the meeting of each other. And Rah‘mat is not only town or event, it is the great gathering of Shendar women to vote for their supreme leader, which takes place every three years. So Rah‘mat can be the expression for the voting process as well. OK, will PM you. If my spoken English would not be so terrible, I would say, let us chat on skype.. well, I'll write some proposals first, after I made myself fit again what the Rahaz-Dath concerns ;) Spellchecking still not working?? Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Toama SorInyt on February 27, 2014, 11:13:17 PM Have we given up on this story? :(
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ta'lia of the Seven Jewels on February 28, 2014, 04:23:00 AM No idea, I vote for reviving it in October, when all the coming festivities I have to go through are done... ;)
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Laell on February 28, 2014, 05:47:37 AM Ta'lia! Love tou. Miss you. That was randoom and contextually inappropriate. Forgives?
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on February 28, 2014, 12:31:29 PM :D Nope, I've never given up on this, though at the moment it is only Toama and Alt active. We were going to get to a community before placing an ad for new players rather than have a bunch of new players pop up in the middle of the desert.
 October? It's February. Talia, surely you gest. Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Ta'lia of the Seven Jewels on February 28, 2014, 05:14:53 PM Laell, I love you too :D, and no, saying to somebody 'I love you' is never inappropriate. Though I have a guess and I know, I should know it, but which alter ago do you hide in your breast? ;)
Altario, I'm afraid I'm not jesting. My husband turns.. oh, well, there is quite a festivity end of May, and before that our house has to get (after 14 years) in a more finished state, and our garden too (somebody thought it was not inhabited because of the state of the space in front of our house..) and then we have a wedding, in two parts. My son will marry end of July and half the Japanese relatives (well 7) will come too, then in September we will go to Japan to attend the Japanese side, so... and more time consuming things like looking for a room for my youngest who starts studying.. I'm busy, always terribly busy... and often feel like the poor guy here :fish: Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Toama SorInyt on February 28, 2014, 08:19:58 PM Altario, does that mean I should make a post? I don't think I saw your post before I dropped off the disk :)
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on February 28, 2014, 09:26:45 PM If you are interested in keeping it going, then sure. :) Post away.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Laell on March 01, 2014, 08:12:50 AM This is Aueniteri. The Herald is the only thing I'm active in, as Laell, so I just keep it on.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on March 01, 2014, 09:37:07 AM Quote and no, saying to somebody 'I love you' is never inappropriate I have a couple restraining orders that say otherwise :rolleyes:Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Irid alMenie on November 28, 2014, 04:01:56 AM Ok, so... we're November. Any chance of continuing this story? :)
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on November 28, 2014, 11:27:56 AM Of course. :) Though it might just be you and I.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Irid alMenie on December 01, 2014, 12:46:39 AM In that case I would like to fast forward to where we're out of the desert, because despite my character's origin, I don't know all that much about travelling through the desert (and surviving).
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on December 01, 2014, 01:45:53 AM Well, I'd like to play out one more scene that I had planned from the beginning. Just a bit of selfishness on my part, then yup, we can get rescued and make our way out of there.
Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Toama SorInyt on December 03, 2014, 01:31:11 AM *Work too busy... Brain overloading...*
Anyway, I'll try to finish my post this evening at home, if you don't like my Sand Sister trick just let me know and I will change my post, just thought it might be a nice thing for a desert-dwelling people to have :) Title: Re: Destiny- OOC Chapter Two Post by: Altario Shialt-eck-Gorrin on December 04, 2014, 04:27:14 PM Looks like a great post to me, Toama. I'll post here in a day or two. :D
