I'd like to join, though perhaps with a different character than Irid. What kind of peoples are you looking for?

Do you require the services of a mage, or perhaps the crossbow of a psyrpent?

Irid, any of your characters would be more than welcome.  :D  If you have a particular one in mind, then choose that one.  Or, if you want to wait until a few more people have been approved, you can custom fit a character to fill any holes we might have.  All types of characters are welcomed, so a balanced team would be preferred.

When there's a larger team I'll try to remember my characters (I knew I should have kept a list back when I was creating them :D) and give you a list so you can choose which ones might fill the gaps (I'm already assuming it will be one of my non-fighting characters but I prefer those anyway :D). Excluded will be: Toama, Irid and Koka, cause they're in stories even though the stories are not as active as they used to be (I'm hoping activity will come back).

What would be needed... a healer? a fighter? an acrobat? a starving boy? Some Brownies? (preferably not, I'd like to be more or less the same height as the rest). A one-armed vagabond? A cat and a dog? So many possibilities, and I think I still forgot a few :D

Though, I don't know which one I should enter. I might use Seh, I haven't played her in years. Again, all my characters are up for the task. I might use Ainsel, I want to play her dragon. Probably those two. What kind of characters are you specifically looking for? Most of my characters are fighter types, so yeah.

I'm considering whether to join in. Would this character be suitable? He wouldn't be any help in fights, I'm afraid, although his pet could be.

If Movash is not suitable for the main part of the story, maybe there is space for a cameo appearance? I'm open to ideas, dear moderators!

@Jack: Since the character isn't approved, I would advice going with one of your other characters. Since the story is going to mainly take place in land-locked locations, I would probably advice Leilani, but it's up to you. Just lemme know. :)

@Seh: Any and all characters are welcome. Play whichever character you would like to play. :)

@Movash: Having to know how to fight isn't required, so if you want to join, then welcome aboard!

Still, there's Laell (http://"http://www.santharia.com/adv/index.php?topic=4415.msg199711#msg199711") or Ken (http://"http://www.santharia.com/adv/index.php?topic=777.msg25635#msg25635). Barring those, I could use my Aueniteri character herself, which is my usual login.

I think we are getting a fair mix, Irid, so whichever character you want to pull out of the mothballs, I'm sure will be fine. :)

Whichever you think you'd enjoy most, Teri.  I've seen Ken and Teri played, but not the warrior or Laell, so they would pique my interest most.  But, entirely up to you.

With the Caveat that I will be seriously limiting the Drake's involvment.  A familiar like that can seriously throw the balance completely out of the game.  It makes it hard for a story teller to create situations that cater to the Drake with making the other players extraneous.  It takes the focus of the RP off of the story and on to the familiar.

If you can live with that, then welcome.  If not, then perhaps another character might be better served. :D

Fair, Alt. My main purpose in playing her was to play the drake, so it's no fun if I can't. I'll enter Seh then, her CD is in my siggy. :)

Hello all, I haven't been on in a while mostly because there was a large lack of action on Witchking Waters. With that said, I'd really like to join this story since you seem to have an awesome team forming up here Alt. I'd be interested in playing as either Car'scal or Calron. Which ever you feel would work better for this story. CDs in signature or found via search either name.

After a brief skim, I'm okay with either, so whoever you want to play is good with me. :)

Hey guys, would a local guard fit in nicely?

For my entrance I thought it would be easy enough to have Manik on patrol with another guard (would never do a night patrol alone) and stumble upon everyone. If another guard is unwelcome I can send him for help (which maybe does not come?) or he can just be killed by whatever evil is lurking. OR hell i could just turn around and hes gone! spooky! Maybe I could join once another post or two gets up and people are actually getting to the pillar. PEST PILLAR PARTY!!! Or even if something crazy happens right away I still see it working. In any case I am agreeable to whatever works for you guys.

You're headed for the triple play.   :D  Yes, it would be great to have a wandering guard come in.  You may bring in an NPC, as long as you keep him kinda in the background.  We discourage the bringing in of multiple characters into the story.  But, as it makes sense to not patrol alone, we'll let it go for now.  We'll figure out how to ditch him when the time comes.

I'm partially through writing a post.  Won't finish tonight, unfortunately.  You can make apost now, and not be at the piller, on another street, just an introduction to your character, or you can wait like you said for a couple more posts and join us at the piller.

Apologies to the recent applicants to Sins for not yet having got back to you. Discussing amongst a team of moderators sometimes takes a while. It shouldn't be long now until you hear from us.

Meanwhile, we have closed this story for new players, so the three joining applications that have already been made (by Tak, Jameson, and Alrick) will be the last ones we'll consider for the time being.

on behalf of the Sins moderation team, I am pleased to tell you that you have been accepted to join this story. Congratulations, and a warm welcome to Sins of the Ancestors!

However, if you followed this story, you will know that Chapter I is currently in the midst of a complex battle situation. Also, this chapter will come to a close soon, and we do not want to drag it out too much by introducing new characters this late in the proceedings. The moderation team has therefore decided that it is better for the story if you join in Chapter II. Therefore, please do not post in Chapter I, but wait until Chapter II is open. The development of stories, and the frequency of posting cannot be predicted with much accuracy, but we hope that you won't have to wait much more than a month of real time.

In the meantime, please read what's happened so far in this story, and keep yourself up to date as developments progress. It's all part of a puzzle that will develop as the story proceeds! Oh, and do browse the CDs of the personalities you'll be meeting soon IC.
