Evelaria was about to reply to Helli when the loud voice of a male crept up into her ears. The woman turned around swiftly, her beaded braids swinging in the wind and clashing against one another as they fell back into place. Her cloak was slightly lifted above the ground as she turned and her axes gave off a slight clank. She looked up at the man, who turned out to be a guard.

"Halt there! Please step over here. Either of you ladies happen to come across an elderly man in a grey cloak with a chrome staff in hand in the village?"

Evelaria knew exactly what this man was talking about, but she wasn't about to let on to any of it. She raised an eyebrow as though she were confused about the man's questions and she glanced over at Helli and shrugged. "I have not seen any man like the one you suggested around these parts, My Lord."

She was being polite, fake yet polite. If she were herself she would have pulled out her axes and swung one at his elbow closest to his weapon and then another at his throat and then grabbed Helli and ran off. But she was in no mood to kill an innocent man. Chaos seemed to have calmed down since the Seer's words were spoken to Eve. Eve looked back at Helli and sighed. "What is all of this about?" she asked returning her gaze to the solider.

@Eve:

"I have not seen any man like the one you suggested around these parts, My Lord."

Helli added too, in a pleasant voice, "Nor have i."

The guard looked both Eve and Helli over, and decided that they were just another pair of village women heading out to gather herbs or supplies. Besides, he was getting bored and tired of repeated questioning, and the hour was getting late. He was looking forward to the end of the shift.

"What is all of this about?"

The guard overheard Eve's question. "Well, Milady, that man is wanted by the Prince, to be brought back to Caelum. We are only carrying out orders. Not much to be told ... so both of you can move along now." He said as he waved both Eve and Helli ahead of him, west towards the woods.

((OOC: Sorry it has taken me so long to post. This last week has been terrible and boring and my mind had lost its inspiration.))

She awoke early the next morning, refreshed and ready to being the day. She met Sephariath in the Tavern for a quick meal before heading on their way to the Shivering Wood.

Not much was said as they made their way from the town other than the brief exchange of information and other small talk that they could come up with at the spur of the moment.

She guided him through the now bustling streets to the gate, where they were allowed to pass quickly for there was already a long line of people awaiting their turn to enter for many reasons. Not many skirmishes were seen and for that Kalina was sincerely grateful. Those things unnerved her and she did not care to get caught up in one by just walking by.

The Shivering Woods, such a fascinating name for a place. She didn't really understand much about the woods but from what she had heard, it was not the most welcoming place to visit, even for a short period of time. Sure hope we shall be alright, considering that both of us are limited physically in our abilities to fight.

This fact worried her a little but did not dampen her spirits for the sense of adventure and exploring something strange and new. Her hands shook nearly uncontrollably from the odd excitement she felt running through her body. Not much longer now Kalina. Not much longer.

@Kalina & Sephariath:

((OOC: Seph has, hopefully not mysteriously disappeared, but i shall post to move you along since i haven't seen him for a while ...))

As Kalina and Sephariath approached the "questioning line" of the Kyranian Royal Guards once again, they were waved through non-chalantly. Most of the guards present were from the day before, and they were bored of the whole questioning routine -- the less people to go through, the better.

As Kalina and Sephariath passed by a group of guards, fragments of a conversation could be heard, "Coming you say? Well ... very odd indeed ... next few days? The Prince ... yes by himself! Personally too and ... of course ... "

You need to indicate in your post where your character is heading -- it can't just be wandering randomly ;)  If you don't know where to head, then you should be asking questions ;)

Sephariath was glad to have a guide such as Kalina, she seemed to navigate him quite well and with little delays. All the figures moving around him and voices was all a little much for him this early in the morning but none the less they journey must be completed. The Shivering Woods would be a place of intrigue and danger no doubt, his senses had to be in top shape to not be taken by surprise. Kalina did not seem she was much of a physical person so he would have to be on guard for the both of them.

"Well M'Lady, a lovely morn is it not? I do hope we make it to the Shivering Woods quickly, do you know how far it is away?"

Sephariath kept pace with Kalina so he did not burden her and slow the two of them down at all. His hand rested on the hilt of his blade even in the calm daylight.....one could never be too sure. Their journey to the Shivering Woods....another tale in his life...hopefully one he would have the grace of telling sooner rather than later.
