[Kiushapo]

Shaking his head at Mina as she asked if could read it, Kiushapo traced a finger along the symbol and then handed it to her, his vest didn't offer many places for storage... "I am not knowing what it is, but you are being right, we should be keeping it."

Gesturing for Mina to take the lead, he prepared to follow, keeping his sword drawn as he looked around, Elric's precaution against being caught unawares was a good one.

"I am hoping we are reaching this camp before it is being too late, I am starving!"

Simple answers to life's questioning. T'would be a greater magic that I have ever been seeing.
Kiushapo's Story

If Eve had the cruelty to slice all three of their heads of she would have done it then and there. She just then made a promise never to talk to any squirrels ever unless they were from a place where more mature creatures lived, then they would probably have matured as well. She sighed and looked at Helli.

"It is hard to piece together what they are saying. They only give me brief statements, like dark hair, yes, nice man, yes, live here, spit, and things like that. I think we may be here for a while, but I would really like to get moving before it gets dark."

She turned back to the kuatus and smiled, and then dug in her brown sack for a plump bag of acorns. She used them to add spice or other flavors to her soups and such but this was more important. She waved it in front of their eyes, yet out of their reach. "Give me more information, and I'll let you gourge yourself on these."

She smiled widely. She was being kind to them, but at the same time she was helping push them towards an untimely demise. What if an owl came along, seeing three plump squirrels....too bad for them. "Got it?"

[Mina]

Taking the piece of bark form Kiushapo, Mina opened her bag with her other hand, and carefully placed the bark inside.  

"Lets get going then."

She turned and began walking in the direction of the outpost.  

(OOC: Couldn't think of much to say about taking a piece of bark from someone.  )

@Eve:

"Give me more information, and I'll let you gourge yourself on these."

The kuatus looked reverently at the acorns that Eve had dangled enticingly before them. They tried to inch closer, but Eve held it out just far enough to be beyond their reach.

One Kuatu chittered, "North! North! Empty place! Nice man! Brown eyes! Brown hair! Yes! Place ... where ... men stay! Now empty! Empty! Tall ... dark brown hair ... brown eyes ... man ... there! North! North!"

Then all three turned to look at Eve pitifully, glassy clear eyes staring yearningly at the acorns.

Helli stood by the side, amazed and befuddled by all that was going on. Tugging cautiously at Eve's sleeve, she asked curiously, "Are they talking to you? What did they say?? Did they see Lornen??"

Elric nodded to both Mina and Kiushapo -- he was in a hurry to get to their destination as well. "Let us go. Time is slipping."

Eve smiled, finally they were getting somewhere. They needed to head north, so that is where they would go. She turned to face Helli and smiled.

"Yes, they are talking, they said they spotted a nice tall, brown haired man in the north in a place where men stay. So, I guess that is as clear as it is going to get. So we head north."

She opened the bag and poured the acorns out on the floor, letting the squirrels take what they wanted. "Thank you for your cooperation," she said.

She turned back to Helli, and smiled. "Now, which way is North?"

@Eve:

The Kuatus pounced on the acorns excitedly and greedily, completely oblivious to the subsequent conversation between Eve and Helli.

"Yes, they are talking, they said they spotted a nice tall, brown haired man in the north in a place where men stay. So, I guess that is as clear as it is going to get. So we head north. Now, which way is North?"

Helli was excited. She did not know what had transpired between Eve and the Kuatus, but Eve seemed to have an inkling of where to find her son. She had lived all her life in Eresh, and she easily knew where the general directions where. "North! Over there!" Helli pointed forward, and started limping forward, anxious to reach whatever destination that laid ahead of them.
