@Fluffy & Cacunai:
"Hey, Big One, wake up!"
Yerun almost jumped out of his skin when he heard Shurshing say "Big One". He was writhing in his sleep, in the middle of dreaming that he was by the seaside, and suddenly, a HUGE fish leapt out of the water and lunged for him, flapping its huge mouth trying to swallow Yerun whole. Yerun in his dream ran and hid behind some rocks, thinking that he had outran the fish, only to be woken up by Shurshing thinking that the Big Fish was standing right over him, as he woke up in cold sweat and stared with beady eyes at Shurshing the "Big One".
"We all are safe and will be here soon. I mean, the rest will be here soon. We had some unexpected troubles with getting our supper. But everithing's o'k now!"
Quickyly regaining his senses, Yerun was relieved and happy to see Shurshing, and was glad that the others were going to come together soon.
"What happened? Is everyone ok? You wait here until the others get here, alright? Then tell them to all stay in my tent until i come back to get you all ... i'm going to get the lady elf, i think it's morning now, and we should get going ... i don't like this place."
Gesturing for Shurshing to stay and wait for the others again, Yerun stepped out of his tent, and carefully made his way to Cacunai's tent, which was just right next to his. Peering into the tent, he saw Cacunai's sleeping figure lying still.

Cacunai had stayed awake long into the night, whittling away at her bone. Only when she was certain all else was asleep in the camp, excluding the rats as they were probably nocturnal, did she add the finishing touch to her bone - leather wrapped around one end - and stow it in her cloak. Cacunai slept, but to an observer she would seem awake - the elf slept with her eyes open. Sometime during the night she had shifted so her back was to the tent flap, so when Yerun peered inside, he did not see her blank stare. The slight noise he made prompted her to come fully awake in a matter of seconds. She sat up abruptly and brought her dagger up in the same movement. The sight of Yerun calmed her enough to sheath the dagger and start pulling on her boots quickly.
I have allowed myself too much leisure. Come, we've got to get going before the guards start questioning us further or lead us kindly away from the woods. Here.
As soon as her feet were jammed into her boots, she snatched the bone from the pocket of her cloak and handed it to the boy. Overnight it had been transformed (by carving) into a rough dagger-knife type thing with a fox carved into the hilt. Leather formed a grip. She smiled grimly.
It will not last long. But you must have
some
protection. Use it well and wisely and it should be all right. Its name is "Qee'lak sadei". Means 'quick fox' in Drow, the language of the ones we may find in the forest. A very old dialect.

@Mina:
As Mina approached the campfire that she was at last night -- which was now a patch of grey ashes -- there was Elric standing there, shuffling his feet about in the ashes, as if deep in thought about something.
He suddenly noticed Mina's presence.
"Oh!"
Said Elric, looking up towards Mina like a deer caught in carriage lights.
"Ah, good morn Milady! I was just getting ready for the trip to Dorrum's outpost."
He glanced around behind Mina,
"And where may your companion, Kiushapo be? He didn't seem like one to be late to rise in the morning."
He then glanced back at Mina,
"Do you have weapons on you?"

@Cacunai & Fluffy:
((OOC: Coooool post Nai!!
))
Yerun was taken aback and almost panicked when Cacunai suddenly sat up and drew a sharp gleaming dagger as if about to pounce on Yerun. Thankfully (for Yerun anyway), Cacunai returned the dagger to her sheath as fast as it was pulled out.
"I have allowed myself too much leisure. Come, we've got to get going before the guards start questioning us further or lead us kindly away from the woods. Here."
Yerun liked the idea of leaving. He didn't like the encampment. Too many burly men walking around with weapons ... especially sharp gleaming ones. When Cacunai handed him what looked like a sort of pointy bone like knife thingy, he almost dropped it in nervousness, and his hands shook as he tried to grasped it properly.
"It will not last long. But you must have some protection. Use it well and wisely and it should be all right. Its name is "Qee'lak sadei". Means 'quick fox' in Drow, the language of the ones we may find in the forest. A very old dialect."
Yerun nodded timidly, hoping that he would never had to use it ... afterall, was she expecting for them to run into danger?? He hoped not. He carefully slipped the bone dagger into the folds of his jacket -- had better tell the Ramblers about it in case one of them sat on it and got a mighty ache -- and then gestured to Cacunai towards his tent. He needed to pick up the Ramblers first. He hope they had already gathered and was waiting for them.

Cacunai spared a short laugh for Yerun's petrified expression when she handed him the dirk (which is what we shall now call it because I just realized that's what it is!).
It won't hurt you as long as you keep it hilt-up, and try to avoid letting it saw through your pocket - I would've made you a sheath but I didn't have enough leather.
She narrowed her eyes for a moment, watching Yerun gesture.
Ah, you want to go to your tent? All right, but we must move quietly. If any guards are still asleep at this horrid hour, we don't want to go waking them up.

Evelaria listened silently to Helli's gossip, nodding or saying
"umhum,"
every once in a while. When Helli cried out Eve's eyes widened and she quickly looked around to see if anyone was near by, her keen eyes caught sight of nothing, but she did catch sight of the candle falling swiftly. She bent down and picked it up with her palms and then stood it upright. It all seemed to happen in slow motion because as soon as Eve picked up the candle Helli began to fall. Eve moved swiftly from the candle, her small size allowing her swift movement, and she caught the old woman by her waist, and then turned her over onto her back and kneeled down to the floor, feeling Helli's weight pulling her down.
Eve looked around now not looking for a threat but for someone to help. She saw no one, but heard the continuous cries of the night animals.
"Helli....are you...alright?"
she then realized that the question was kind of retorhical. The woman had just fallen on her face and was crying out in pain of course she wasn't alright.
"What happened?"
asked Eve as she fanned Helli with bare hand.

@Fluffy & Cacunai:
((OOC: Dirk? Ooohh ... new vocabulary for me
And you should be thinking about "getting" directions to where you want to go Nai ... or you can leave it to Yerun ... just a quick note about that hehe
))
Yerun felt his cheeks warming with embaressment as Cacunai laughed. He wondered what he was doing wrong.
"It won't hurt you as long as you keep it hilt-up, and try to avoid letting it saw through your pocket - I would've made you a sheath but I didn't have enough leather."
Yerun wondered which part was the "hilt" part. Hearing the word "sawing" made him even more nervous than ever. Unsure of what to do, he made sure that the dirk sat nicely within his jacket, and that he felt no discomfort from it, hoping that he was doing something right.
"Ah, you want to go to your tent? All right, but we must move quietly. If any guards are still asleep at this horrid hour, we don't want to go waking them up."
Yerun nodded vigorously. Can't leave the Ramblers behind! They were like ... family now! Now "quietly" he understood. "Quietly" was not a problem. Afterall, his tent was right next door, he didn't plan on stomping loudly in two huge steps just to get to his tent.
Silently, Yerun and Cacunai slipped to the tent where Yerun had spent the night. Peering into the tent in his, Yerun directed his glance at the spot where he had last seen Shurshing, hoping that they had all gathered by now.

@Eve:
((OOC: Just checking to make sure that you didn't pull Helli back up standing again in your post, right? If i read wrong, post an OOC line in your next post and i'll edit this post accordingly
))
Thankfully Eve had managed to stand the the little lamp and candle within it upright again before the flame flickered out. That would have been bad, since it was their only light source in the pitch darkness of the surrounding woods area.
There was indeed no one around. Eve's keen sight served her well, even in the thick cloak of darkness around them.
"Helli....are you...alright? What happened?"
Helli moaned a little as she sat upright again with Eve's hands at her waist.
"I ... i tripped on something i think ... my ankle ..."
Helli shifted one foot in pain. It seemed like she had sprained her ankle.
"It ... it hurts ... oh dear ... i'm so sorry my dear ... careless me ..."
Helli struggled to get back on her feet again, clutching on to Eve's strong hands.
At that very moment, something zipped past in the air above Helli and Eve, narrowly missing the crown of Eve's head. As it fell and staked the ground close to both of them, Eve could make out that it was an arrow ... with a really sharp point too now embedded in the coarse soil.
Another zipped by in the air, and another, and another. All narrowly missing either Helli or Eve. It was obvious by now that someone was letting a slew of arrows rain down on the two of them, but Eve spot nothing in the cold darkness.
A squirrel scampered out of the surrounding woods areas. Hopping besides Helli and cocking his head up towards Eve, it spoke to Eve, somehow knowing that Eve could understand,
"Run ... run ... to ... camp ... ahead ... run ..."
Animals don't produce the same tone of urgency that humans do, but if the current situation wasn't urgent, it was hard to define another that was.

Glayron smiled as the man spoke of him and his people. It was the usual reasponse that one of his kind got from strangers. He usually got a even stranger reasponse from people who watched him speak the language of the animals. Galyron looked the old man in the eyes.

When Yerun entered his tent, all the Ramblers were already there. Except Fuzzytail, who could not be seen anywhere.
"Let's go! Fast!"
- squeaked Shurshing to the boy:
"Dont worry about the guards!"
A loud noice came from the campfire and reached Yerun's and Cacunai's years. There, in front of the tired guards four rats were dancing polka and whistling. Among them swung Fuzzytail who sung a song he once has heard in a tavern with a thin voice:
"Once there was a braaaaave reeeeider! Boooold reeeeeider! Hop-la-hop! On his horse! He travelled the world! Veeeeery brave reeeider!"

The repair to his vest has gone swiftly, and Kiushapo had been able to spend most of the night sleeping. As the sun peeked through the flap of his tent, he examined his handy work. It was a little crude, but it looked better than the ragged tear that had been there before. Slipping his vest back on, he crouched in the tent and folded up the blanket they had lent him, setting it neatly in the corner.
As he stepped out of the tent he stretched and ruffled his hair, letting it fall where it would. Wild hair was one thing, but bed head was not something to walk around with. As his gaze fell back from the sky, he noticed Mina headed back towards the campfires. He hoped she had rested as well as he had, they probably had a long walk ahead of them.
Breaking into a jog, he managed to catch her just as Elric finished speaking. Bowling slightly he smiled at them both
"Good morning! I am hoping you were both sleeping well?"

@Fluffy & Cacunai:
((OOC:
Fluffy!))
Yerun was delighted to see the Ramblers gathered inside his tent the way that he had instructed Shurshing to get them to do so. But wait ... there was only 5 (working in the tavern had taught him to count accurately, since he didn't like his ears being boxed that much). Where was Fuzzytail?
"Let's go! Fast!"
- squeaked Shurshing to the boy:
"Dont worry about the guards!"
Yerun was about to question Shurshing about Fuzzytail's whereabouts, when he heard the sqritchy tone of a familiar voice.
"Once there was a braaaaave reeeeider! Boooold reeeeeider! Hop-la-hop! On his horse! He travelled the world! Veeeeery brave reeeider!"
Immediately rushing out of the tent and turning towards where the voice was coming from, Yerun saw the oddest sight ever in his whole life. Four guards sitting around a campfire ring, gaping unblinkingly at what seemed to be four rats swaying in motion to Fuzzytail's tune. Yerun thought he was dreaming. He wondered how he was supposed to "extract" Fuzzytail from the guards ... Fuzzytail seemed to be enjoying himself a whole lot.
Yerun rushed back into the tent and scooped up the rest of the Ramblers, placing them carefully into his jacket pockets, bidding them to be careful of the sharp pointy thing he had inside -- especially to mind their tails not getting accidentally sliced off.
Yerun then looked at Cacunai with a "What now???!!!" look. He was probably going to get scolded by the elf lady for bringing along the Ramblers, he thought to himself.

@Mina & Kiushapo:
((OOC: Fluffy and Nai's campfire ring is closer to the tents, and quite a distance away from the campfire ring that you are both standing at with Elric right now, so you won't be noticing the little entertainment going on there
))
Elric had but just spoken the last word of his last sentence, when there was Kiushapo, jogging briskly up towards both him and Mina.
"Good morning! I am hoping you were both sleeping well?"
Elric nodded in response towards Kiushapo,
"Ah, good morn, my friend! I was just asking Lady Mina about you!"
He shuffled his feet on the ground and shrugged his shoulders,
"And how could i have a pleasant slumber when My Love is in danger of being taken away by another?"
Elric shrugged again and abruptly changed the subject.
"I was just asking Lady Mina if she is armed, and knows how to use a weapon. Where we are heading --"
Suddenly, a deep, smooth voice that oozed maleness resonated out from behind the trio.
"Heading? Where to, Elric?"
A tall, well built man with broad shoulders in the garbed in the armour and insignia of the Royal Kyranian Guards stepped up towards the trio, his dirty blonde locks loosely around his shoulder. Deep blue eyes and sharp brows were complemented by well-chiselled facial features, and a faint stubble on his chin merely accentuated his handsome ruggedness. As he smiled at Mina and Kiushapo, it felt like he brought down gentle rays of the sun to shine upon them in a caressing manner along with his smile.
Elric shrugged again -- he seemed to be good at that, besides bumping into things -- and spoke to the handsome fellow that had just stepped up,
"Just bringing two of my friends to pay Lieutanent Dorrum a visit, Captain, nothing too adventurous."
The man Elric addressed as "Captain" turned towards Mina, gently took her hand and gave her a quick peck on the back of her palm,
"I believe we have not been introduced, Milady?"
Then he turned towards Kiushapo, beaming,
"And you, my fine Sir? How may i address you?"

OOC: Oh, by the way, a dirk is shorter than a rapier and longer than a sword. It's just a type of short sword. Trust me, I know weapons.
Cacunai stood frozen at the mouth of Yerun's tent. A smile of mirth twitched at the corner of her mouth but instead she turned to Yerun and spoke in a voice somewhere between scolding and amusement.
Well my lad, this is a pretty pickle, isn't it. I will not be able to convince the guards that they are drunk, guards never drink on duty. I think we'll have to claim the mouse as part of our harlequin and cart him off that way. So much for getting away unnoticed. But wait...
Her eyes narrowed in thought and she brought her long fingers to bear on her blowpipe, as she did when in deep thought. Her gaze wandered off to the distance. After a long moment, she turned back to Yerun and shook her head wearily.
No, boy, I can't think of anything better than shooting them all with toxic darts, using a toxin that will come to bear in several seconds, giving me time to shoot them all before they start keeling over. But that will have the place in an uproar. No... all right, how about this: I'll tell them something about why he can talk... make something up... and you run and collect your mouse. If I start running, follow me like the devil himself is chasing you. All right?
Without waiting for a reply, Cacunai strode out to where the guards were sitting staring at Fuzzytail. With an expression of annoyance pasted across her face, she strode out to the campfire, calling back over her shoulder,
Arkantos! Honestly boy, can't you keep the mouse in the cage? 'Tisn't that hard. Do you know how long it took me to train him?!
Yerun (to Fluffy: Khiera's letting me control him temporarily) scuttled around her and snatched Fuzzytail out of his drunken revelrie. Cacunai dispersed the rats with swift bats of her hand and flashed a winning smile to the guards, who were looking very confused indeed.
Well then, we'd best be off. Thank you for all your help, and I'm sure we'll be fine.
Turning, she began walking agonizingly slowly away from the woods, planning to double back as soon as they were out of sight. Yerun scurried behind her, clutching Fuzzytail through the fabric of his pocket.

@Glayron:
"I don't see any harm in aiding your captians men by joining a scouting party. Will I be awoken or shall I sleep lightly?"
Old man George smiled,
"Ah, well then, have a restful night my friend. Someone will be by to wake you up, yes, but around these woods, it would be wise to sleep lightly as well."
Old man George gave a cryptic wink, and then ambled off to leave Glayron for the night.
It was an uneventful night, though a little hot and humid, making for uncomfortable sleep. It wasn't too long before a guard peeked into Glayron's tent, trying to wake Glayron up with a tentative tone,
"Sir? Sir? They say you were to join our scouting party? Sir?"
Just to streamline your plot thread with the others, Glayron will awake on the same morning as the others, and your current time will follow the current displayed time of 7 Bells.
