The Weaver's Cottage
«

As you move further away from the village center and its four protruding forks, you notice neat rows of thatched roof cottages that were quite similar in appearance -- the approaching area is seemingly one of residential nature. It looked to be more of a well-off neighbourhood as well, and was probably the wealthiest section of the village apart from the Lord's abode.
As you took the left turn at the fork in the road, you arrived at a row of almost identical cottages, but one seemed to stand out. It was a little more beaten down than the others on the same row. It's surroundings were neat, but the upkeep of the cottage itself seemed to be of a poorly nature.

@Ariel, Mina & Kiushapo
:
Taking the left turn upon reaching the fork in the road with Elric at the lead, the four head down the street with its neat rows of simliar looking cottages. Glancing four to five peds down the street, one particular cottage stands out amongst the uniform look of the others. It was hard to explain why the cottage stood out ... it just ... did.
Sauntering down the street, Elric let out a loud shout as his foot hit a big rock on the street. Elric was a charming young man, if a little clumsy, as Ariel, Mina and Kiushapo would have noticed along the way -- Elric seemingly bumped into anything and everyone possible. Bending down muttering, Elric started to take off his boots to make sure his sore throbbing toe was alright.
Just at that very moment, you notice a cloaked figure seemingly exiting from the cottage that stood out down the street -- it was hard to tell glancing at such a distance away. The figure had a hurried gait, exiting the cottage and making a hasty turn towards the rear of the long row of cottages, his figure disappearing into the tight rows of shadows. That would not have been a concern at all, a hasty figure in a neighbourhood, except that you notice the figure held a chrome coloured staff as it made its hasty vanish.
As the figure moved out of sight, Elric stood up again, having put his boots back on and ascertained that his toe was fine. Pointing towards the cottage that stood out, Elric spoke to the other three,
"There, there's where My Love lives. The cottage right before it is where Jothia the healer lives."

That didn't really answer my question
Mina thought as Elric rambled on about his lover
Nothing about what you plan to do in the Woods, or why you want to go there in the first place. I guess we'll have to find out ourselves.
Elric was a clumsy one, Mina noticed as she walked behind him. Very clumsy. He was bumping into just about everyone.
How did he become a Guard in the first place?
As she continued walking, Mina started going through the information she had gather so far. The old man at the tavern seemed to be their best lead so far, since he was apparently a companion of the princess when she disappeared. A while later, Mina realised something.
The princess! We don't even know what she looks like! How are we going to know it's her even if we find her?
Mina was about to ask Elric about it when she noticed a cloaked figure hastily exit one of the cottages, which for some reason seemed to stand out from the others, and disappear into the shadows. She would not normally have been concerned with such an occurrance---they were rather common afterall---but it seemed, though she was not certain, that the figure was holding a chrome staff.
The old man!
And the cottage happened to belong to Elric's lover too. It was too late to go after the old man now, but perhaps she could get some information from Elric, and maybe his lover as well.
"Elric,"
she asked,
"Do you happen to know of an old man who accompanied the princess when she disappeared?"
There is no emotion; there is peace.
There is no ignorance; there is knowledge.
There is no passion; there is serenity.
There is no death; there is the Force.

A tiny gust of wind blew through Ariel’s hair as she followed Mina, Kiushapo and Elric. After just a short walk they came upon a “wealthier” part of town. The houses appeared to be in great shape, and the people around this area dressed well. Ariel seemingly enjoyed the village, besides from the arguing, threats and such. Though she didn’t let that bother her, she kept her head high and was very mindful of the surrounding neighbourhood.
Ariel couldn’t help but snicker when she saw Elric falling and stumbling EVERYWHERE.
‘Now how did Elric come to being a guard?’
She thought to herself. Slowly shaking her head at the sight of Elric grabbing his foot when he stubbed it, Ariel kept her mouth shut though she did wish to say something to Elric. She didn’t wish to be rude...
Walking silently still Ariel noticed something, an elderly man with a staff ran across the street and disappeared in an ally.
'Was that the elderly man that everyone is looking for?’
Ariel had now seen both men that the guards were after, but wasn’t sure if anyone else saw him.
Glancing at Mina and then at Kiushapo, Ariel took note that it seemed like both of them saw the elderly man. Not wanting to give him away to Elric, Ariel said not a word. Though Mina broke the silence and began to ask Elric a question.
"Elric, do you happen to know of an old man who accompanied the princess when she disappeared?"
Ariel wondered the same thing; she also wondered what was Elric’s plan and whatnot. She had no idea what she was getting into.
“Elric, could you please tell us what your plan is exactly? We’ve been following you for some time now and you have yet to tell us anything...”
Ariel followed quietly waiting for a responce...

As the group made its way down the street, Kiushapo made sure to stay away from Elric, from the way the man was bumping into things he wouldn't be surprised if he knocked down one of the booths lining the street.
As they neared the cottage, Elric cried out and began to explain something, pointing out two cottages, but the man hurrying down the street caught his attention. From what he could remember, the old man that had scurried out of the tavern when he first arrived had had a staff like that. As the man disappeared into the shadows, he heard Mina speaking,
"Elric, do you happen to know of an old man who accompanied the princess when she disappeared?"
And then Ariel
“Elric, could you please tell us what your plan is exactly? We’ve been following you and you have yet to tell us...”
Nodding, he gestured for the group to continue with the questions,
"I will just be visiting the healer for a moment, a bandage is all I am needing."
Setting off at a brisk pace, he approached the cottage Elric had pointed out, knocking loudly on the door.

Elric watched as Kiushapo strode towards the healer's cottage. Turning back first to Mina, he spoke,
"An old man? There were lots of aged officials of the court in the Prince and Princess' entourage when they arrived seven years ago. But, if you meant when the Princess disappeared into the woods, then no, nobody was with her, except the guards that escorted the Prince and Princess around for their safety, but they were left behind when the Prince and Princess entered the woods. I don't remember any aged man among the guards."
Turning to Ariel, Elric spoke again, this time with a sad smile on his face,
"Ah ... come, we shall go into the cottage to meet My Love. Then all will be revealed."
Elric gestured towards the two of them to follow as they made their way to the cottage that stood out.
Knocking softly on the door, Elric spoke out,
"Tis me, Elric!"
After a brief moment, the door slowly creaked open towards the inside, revealing the tall shapely curves of a young woman looking warily at Ariel and Mina. The young woman's eyes were shone of the green of emeralds, and her shoulder length curls were of a flaming ruby red.
Ariel and Mina, both of you should make one post before the plot moves on.

@Kiushapo
:
Arriving at a sturdy wooden door, Kiushapo knocked loudly on it, his knocks seemingly reverberating in an echo around him.
After a brief moment of waiting, loud coughing could be heard on the other side of the door, before the door swang open.
A middle-aged woman clad in a dark brown shawl appeared at the door with a walking stick. Wrinkles and lines on her face spoke of her years through the ages. Holding a frail wrinkled hand to her mouth and coughing a little more, she finally cleared her throat and greeted Kiushapo,
"Good day ... young man ..."
she didn't notice Kiushapo's pointed ears covered by his blonde locks,
"What brings you here today?"

Kiushapo smiled at the aged woman quite amused at being called 'young man'. His cut was itching fiercely now that he was thinking about it again, so he decided to get right to the point,
"If you are being the healer, I am needing your expert skills madam."
Gesturing to his chest, he unbuttoned his vest so she could see
"Whatever you can be doing for it would be much appreciated."
As he stood there, he suddenly remembered he had no money! Silently cursing himself, he changed his smile to a more charming one, he hoped,
"There is being a small matter though, I am embarrassed to be saying I am having no money to be paying you. Perhaps we can be working something else out?"
As he tried to think of someway to pay her, he ran a hand through his hair, revealing his elven ears.

:
Dashing down the East fork where Eve last noticed Kiushapo and Mina. They had meandered down the fork long before she arrived though, and they were no where in sight. Eve had arrived at a fork in the road at the end of the East fork, stopping to ponder which turn she would take..

Ariel watched Kiushapo walked off towards the healer’s house as they made their way to Elric’s lover’s dwelling. Ariel stood silently as always, while Elric knocked softly on the door. After a brief moment a woman answered, she was surprised to see Elric with two other ladies by his side...
Everything about her seemed to stand out to Ariel. Her eye’s resembled her’s, and her hair was almost exactly like Ariel's.
‘No wonder he couldn’t stop gawking at me when we first met...’
Ariel thought to herself, while she still stood there unsure if she should say anything. Ariel decided to keep quiet, until Elric introduced everyone....

Eve went downtheroad, untilshe came to a fork. She looked around, wary of which way to go. She hadn't been this way before, things seemed different, but she couldn't turn back because the woman's words continue to ring in her ears. She decided to turn right...

Mina listened carefully as Elric spoke about the princess' disappearance.
The prince and princess entered the Woods by themselves. Why? And if the prince was there too when the princess disappeared, why doesn't anyone know what happened?
The three of them then made their way to the cottage. Elric knocked softly on the door, and, a moment later, a young woman opened. She was very beautiful, with emerald eyes and ruby-coloured hair.
No wonder Gavrin wants her for himself.

@Kiushapo
:
"If you are being the healer, I am needing your expert skills madam."
The old woman coughed again, and smiled wryly,
"Ah, yes, Jothia the healer, that's who i am, yes."
As Kiushapo unbuttoned his vest to show her his wound, she squinted, and then frowned,
"Oh dear my boy ... that's a shallow wound, but ... made by a blade was it? The blade must have been rusty, you are in for a nasty infection ..."
Jothia was overtaken by another bout of coughing, and then she slowly pushed opened the door wider,
"Come in, come in."
and gestured for Kiushapo to step in.
"There is being a small matter though, I am embarrassed to be saying I am having no money to be paying you. Perhaps we can be working something else out?"
Jothia half-coughed and half-chuckled,
"Ah, my boy, that's alright ... i've come to realize that health and not wealth, is what one should treasure most. I'm a healer, but yet look me, unable to cure the disease that is eating away at myself ..."
Jothia coughed repeatedly again,
"Now come in, we should be taking care of your wound."
The interior of the cottage was sparse and austere. A thick cloud of odd smells of various kinds of herbs permeated the whole inside of the cottage.
Gesturing towards a stool, Jothia sat Kiushapo down, and produced a small jar of what seemed to be light green paste. Slowly, she carefully dabbed some of the paste into Kiushapo's wound, coughing every now and then.
"So my boy, you don't seem to be around here, or i would have seen you before ... what brings you to Eresh? What would bring an Elven kind to Eresh, of all places? And you speak oddly for an elf too."

@Mina & Ariel
:
The beautiful woman at the door stared at Mina and Ariel,
"Elric, wh..what ... who ..."
Elric spoke back bubbly,
"They are friends, My Love, they have offered to help our cause!"
The crimson-haired woman looked suspiciously at Ariel and Mina,
"Wh..what have you told them?"
Elric smiled reassuringly towards her as he gestured towards both Mina and Ariel,
"This is Lady Mina, and this is Lady Ariel. Lady Mina's companion, Kiushapo, is next door with Jothia, but should join us soon. Lady Mina, Lady Ariel, this is Arialle, the love of my life."
His voice had a dreamy quality to them as he spoke out Arialle's name.
Elric gazed lovingly at Arialle,
"My Love, they will help us recover the Princess! And then you will not need to be wed to Gavrin!"
Suddenly, an old, frail female voice sounded from within the cottage,
"Arialle? Who is that at the door?"
Arialle turned her head back,
"It's Elric mother. He brought ... friends."
her voice was sweet and melodious. The frail voice sounded out again,
"Then why don't you invite them in dear?"
Arialle swung the front door wide open.
"An honour to make your acquaintance, Lady Ariel, Lady Mina. Please, if you are indeed committed to helping our cause, do come in."
The interior of the cottage was dark. As you step in. You see the figure of a thin, frail aged woman standing at a corner. There were chairs and tables in the middle of the main room, which Elric motioned for both Ariel and Mina to take a seat.
Arialle and Elric both took a seat at the table too. Looking from Mina and Ariel and back again, Arialle spoke,
"Why would you want to help us, Lady Mina, Lady Ariel?"

@Eve
:
As Eve made a right turn and made her way down the pebbled right path, rows and rows of almost identical cottages were passed by on her left. There seemed to be no end to the fairly straight path, and under the hot sun, walking down a row of similar cottages wasn't exactly the most exciting thing to do.
A middle aged man with unkempt hair and a fairly lanky build walked up the opposite direction on the path.
As he approached Eve, he suddenly stopped abruptly in midway, his eyes widening, the lines at the corner of his mouth gradually forming an expression of anger, the lines of muscle in his neck tensed and bulging. At the top of his lungs, he started shouting at Eve,
"You!! You killed him!! You killed him! Give me my boy back!! Give me my boy back!!!"
