Awesome. Yah...I knew Luca would be listening at the door, I mean...there's not much else she could do other than just waltz in and sit down (which obviously wouldnt work out). So yah, thats makes sense. I'll make Luca summon Pick in her (er...my) next post.

Just a thing I noticed...it'd be easier if everyone remembered to read all posts before you post.  For example, I said in my post that I nodded to Elraralia and left, but she wrote that she left before I did.  It's a bit hectic now I think, because some of us were waking up as others visited, but for future reference.

BTW, sorry if I'm doing your job Severine..

Well, I think the only reason that happened is because you two posted almost simultaneously. So, that really couldn't be avoided.

That's possible.  I know I sometimes take an hour or more to write up my post and I have posted at the same time as Sev before.

But - and this is the good part- a post can always be edited!  If there is a blatant mistake, like the one you pointed out.   8o

Whoot!

EDIT:  Aha... see?  It just happened with Ripp on my last post.  I just went in and added a little bit more to my post, including the elf's entrance.  Very simple.

Hi everyone.  I have been chatting with Severine today and thought I should fill you in on some on my thoughts I told him regarding this story.

I think it is great that everyone is participating almost daily in this thread.  I want to remind you all that your PCs are very important in making this story a success, even though the main plot is about Severine.  Each of you have very unique and interesting PCs that can add a lot more to this story than just tagging along.  We want to incorporate your backgrounds into this epic tale, it may not seem like it now, but something might happen in the story later on which could alter Severine's original vision of the ending... who knows?

That said, if you have any sideplot concerning your PC that you'd like to play out, please bring it to Severine's attention and we will work it in.  Don't be afraid to have your PC build a relationship (any kind, not just love- rivalry, friendship, emnity, mentor/student) with other PCs.  That's what makes things interesting.

I hope we can all bring this story up to be the best one ever!  Severine's doing a great job keeping the momentum going, don't you all think so?   I do!  :clap   A big round of applause for Severine!  :clap  :clap  :clap

Lmao...is it just me or has Phiona gone a little clapping happy her last few ooc posts?

Just like to add something:
Luca was originally based on the rules and regs of AD+D (even though I don't actually PLAY the game...yah, dont ask) but with a tweaked story line to fit into the Santharian world. Since there is pretty much NO mention of half-elves on the Santharian website, I carried on the D+D acceptence of them. How are half-elves accepted, you ask? Simple....they're not, at least not completely. So just keep that in mind please when your PC is interacted with her. I mean...even the worlds most trusting, understanding and compationate being is wary of half-elves.

Sorry about ranting somewhat buy I've had some bad experiences with online RPG and unnaccepted character races (Ever try playing a drow on Yahoo Chat? Pure hell....but thats a whole other story and character)

I was under the impression that half-elves were commonplace around here.  Well, maybe not commonplace, as they are seen less than full blooded elves...  but Phiona has elven blood in her too so Luca's racial heritage wouldn't bother her.  One of Phiona's grandparents (ok, great grandparents) is an elf and he is her mentor.  So when all is said and done, Phiona has some affinity to elves because of her family history.

Personality wise, Phiona gets on better with dwarves and halflings/hobbits, but she doesn't dislike half elves anymore that the next person.

I do play D&D, and as far as I know, half elves are generally excepted by both humans and elves, although to an elf, the halfbreed would appear more human, and to the human he would appear more like an elf.  Other than that, half elves are usually welcome in either races' community.

Here on Caelereth it may be a different story, but I haven't seen anything detrimental to any of the halfbreeds, except for those of the darker races.  Perhaps Luca has some personal, psychological problem with being a half breed?   I suppose I should go read your CD now...   :o

I started playing d&d two weeks ago. Right now, I'm using a Merfolk sowrdsman. me and two other friends are about to do another game since we caught on faster as well as doing the current one.

I dunno what I'm talking about. And I'm not TELLING you how to react to Luca. I mean...different personality different reaction yadda yadda yadda. But yah...I dunno. I'm so confused. And my legs hurt. I hate running. Whatever. I have this whole theory on the basis behind my little beleif about half elf acceptance. But its long and boring and unnecessary. Ugh...I want to sleep...even though its 4.30 in the afternoon. AAAH. I'm going insane. I'm also rambling. So I'll...just...go...yah...er....bye.
