Angron pushed up from the ground as he saw the slender figure of the cleric approach, the wolf paddling along beside her. Coming out right before Asmordeus, he waited for a few seconds. Then, quietly: "...booh...". The grin came back to Angron´s face, and he waited for the elf´s next action. From the corner of his field of sight he noticed the other Kuglim come to the water.

Pain? PAIN!? I´m a berserk, dammit! I don´t even know the word pain!!!

Looking around for Angron and not seeing him caused her concern.  There has to be a reason.  Was his injury causing him trouble in the water?  Ircurus noticed his mistress' distress and started looking too.

Suddenly from right before her something came up from the water.  "...booh...".   Startled Ircurus growled and moved toward the form.  Ircurus was in "protect" mode and without realizing, climbed over his mistress to protect her.  In doing so, he pushed her under the water.  Growling fiercely he headed for the head above the water.  It was his friend, and instead only started licking the huge face.

Asmordeus almost swallowed a mouthful of water as Ircurus went over her.  Then she saw the smile of Angron.  "You!  I could have drowned with this wolf coming over me to get you!" she splashed water at the huge face in front of her.  Then started laughing and splashing.  She stopped splashing and noticed Dane come to the water.

While the cleric was splashing him with water, Angron felt a big stone beneath him, and so managed to have kind of a solid ground under him. He was standing on the rock, his broad shoulders raising out of the water. Then, the kuglim took Asmordeus by her shoulders, with both hands, and lifted her up a bit as if she weighed nothing. most of her torso was nowout of the water. "Splashing me with water, you are, eh?". With his usual grin he tossed her through the air a good 2 peds and back into the water. Then Angron finally paid the other man a look. "What´s the matter, Plain-Lander? Afraid of the water? Come on in already!".

The swim had been refreshing and the company enjoyable.  Asmordeus had learned a little about Angron.  Perhaps this would soon become a good friendship.  Asmordeus thanked her new friend for the swim an headed for bed.  A few hours sleep and then some decisions would need to be made.

Waking as the morning sunlight poured onto her pillow, Elraralia groaned, shielding her eyes in attempts to block out the morning light.  Last night had been a long one, and a bit strange at that, and she was no where near ready to wake up.  Groaning, she rolled over, but it was no use: the sunlight had done its work, and now she was wide awake.

Sitting up, she glared at the open window, but her gaze softend as she saw what a beautiful morning the night had produced.  Sunny and bright.  Getting out of bed with a sigh, she changed from her clothes: the same ones she had arrived in the night before, as she had been much to tired to change when going to bed, into some fresh ones from her pack.   Rebrainding her hair, she walked to the doorof her room, and feeling that her dagger was safe in her belt next to the few coins she had left, opened the door and stepped out into the empty hallway.  Making her way to the tavern, she looked around, and realized that she was one of the few up.  Heading over to a table by the window, she looked out into the street, smiling at the quietness of it all, as the town had yet to wake up.

Cacunai, the Seer of the Woodlands (as her official title went),  padded into the tavern, making little or no sound on the wooden floor. Her cloak swirled behind her, her long auburn braid coiled at her neck. The silver streak glinted in the candlelight, and she shivered involuntarily, though she entered a warm building. The door was yanked shut by a sudden strong wind, but Cacunai ws already well out of the way. Now the elf sat in a corner. The table's former occupant had been rudely awakened. Cacunai did not care. She dropped a hand to her blowpipe and caressed it lovingly.

Kareesh brushed a strand of dark black hair out of her face as the wind blew fiercely around her. She pulled the dark green cloak closer to her body in hopes of it keeping her warm. The sun, although bright, offered her no warmth. Up ahead, whe had heard of a great tavern called 'The Thirsty Herald'.

"Hopefully it isn't too far ahead," she grumbled to herself. Just then, she saw a large establishment. Above the door was a sign, creaking in the wind, proclaiming that this was the place that she was looking for. She quickly hurried towards it.

Upon reaching the door, she opened it as silently as she could. Of course the door slammed shut behind her because of the wind. She found an empty table and slid into a seat. Her dark green eyes watched for any Elves, hoping that they wouldn't notice her. She would not like to explain to them what she did for a living. As she thought this thought, she placed her right hand over her stomache, thinking of the punishment that she suffered already because of what she was.

"Even the smallest person can change the course of the future."

Even if the night is at its darkest, watch out for the pair of green eyes that come to steal.

It was now dark. Clouds had formed over head, hiding the sun. The wind also had picked up, making it difficult for Kalina to keep her hood up. Her long golden hair blowing in all directions out of her tie that held it back.

Softly she stepped through the doors of the tavern, deep-blue eyes glancing about the room at its occupants. Quickly she swept her hair back in its tie and replaced her hood. Her eyes had fallen upon several empty tables and a couple that were being used. One person caught her eyes though and she gracefully made her way over to the figure.

"May I?"

The woodland elf followed the newcomer's progress with her eyes, leaning back against the wall she had chosen to sit by. Ah yes... she thought. Another elf. Good... good... the world needs more elves.... She smiled from under her cloak as the newcomer chose to sit well away from Cacunai's place of observation. Suddenly, as if following orders, she raised a flask to her lips, that had been previously tied to her belt. Taking a short gulp, she sighed. Warmth, no one bothering her- bliss.

The tavern door creaked open and a thin dwarf walked in.  He was covered in sand from head to toe.*Looks around and sees a handful of people and nods in greeting.Shakes some of the sand of before entering then takes a seat at an empty table.*

Her gaze flicked to the dwarf that had just entered. Her smile widened. Dwarves... great fun to pester. But no, today she must be silent and today, she must not start anything she didn't feel like finishing. Today, Cacunai had an errand. She reattached her hip flask to her belt and sat back, following the man's progress with her eyes.

Kareesh looked up, started at the female Elf that had approached her. She gave her a wary look.

"Great, another Elf. Probably wants to know about me," she thought to herself.

"You may sit if you want to," she said in a quiet voice "This seems to be a free establishment."

Just in case this Elf decided to cause trouble for her, Kareesh placed her right hand on her dagger hilt, tensing up a bit.

"Even the smallest person can change the course of the future."

Kalina sensed the elf tense at her coming and place her hand on her dagger.

"No worry, friend, I am not here for aggression." Her voice soft and assuring.

Carefully, she sat opposite from the elf, still aware of the tension that filled the air. She said nothing but smiled as she unclasped her cloak, laying it over the back of the chair. Her blue eyes sparkling as they caught the faint light that filled the room.
