Ren was sitting up in his bed, thinking of the worst possible things that could be happening to Tierria, as well as the new friends he had made. He had a feeling that all the commotion outside something to do with all of them. He had to see...to see if any of them was in danger. Ren slowly got out of his bed, and slowly walked over to the cabinet that contained his clothing and things. A nurse ran up to Ren pleaded with him to get back in bed.

Shaking his head, Ren spoke "I must go out there. I have a feeling that people dear to me are in danger. I must see...see if they are safe."

"I'm sure they are safe" said the doctor, approaching him. "The guards probabaly escorted them somewhere."

Ren sighed. "I have a feeling that the places that the guards out there want to send them isn't somewhere safe."

The doctor stared at Ren for a long time. It was no question that he might've been friends with the people who was causing the trouble outisde. But this was a man who was his patient. A man whose company he enjoyed, a man he become friendly with. And enemy or no enemy, a doctor helps his patients no matter what.

"Let him go" he said to one of the nurses without looking at her. "The man ahs to check on his friends."

Ren looked at the man for a long time, shocked at his response. But as soon as the man nodded at him, Ren nodded back and started to get his things.

Captain Flimoar Fotelier stood with the rest of his men, blocking one of many paths the rebels could take to try and escape. Like this path, every other one was blocked as well. Even if the rebels were to make it this far...they would be too tired to continue fighting after going against Blackwine's special forces. The Flimoar and his men would take them out. One by one, or maybe even all at once. There was so many ways to end this disturbance upon Commander Blackwine's plans! What Flimoar didn't notice was that yards away, someone was climbing on top of the roof of the only inn in Sheren village...

Kim approached the man standing by the gates.
"I am here to see Marlus I have come on Kalyn's behalf"

The man standing at the gate stared at her. Even having never seen a Kasumarii in his life, he had heard the stories and seen pictures there abilities beyond much comprehension. the Dark Priests were said to be the worse which this girl standing in front of him was.

Kim felt irritated at the man just staring at her.
"What are you staring at," she demanded,
"I wish to see Marlus and you will take me to him"

The man blinked for a few seconds and then nodded dumbly.
Please follow me inside and I will go and find him for you.

Kim followed the man inside through the gates keeping her hand on her weapon the whole time. Looking round she could sense that there was trouble near and something else something that she couldn't place but it filled her with a heavy feeling.

Looking up at the ceiling, that was now in flames, Elraralia cursed silently to herself.  When was this going to end?  About to follow Luca out, her way was suddenly blocked by flaming beam that fell to the ground in front of her.  Turning around, she made her way to the back, and quickly escaped that way.
Emerging from the house, she quicky spotted , who were  the reason for the now bonfire that was at one point the house that she had come out of.  Three soldiers were milling about, apparently oblivous to the fact that the people in the house were not dead.
Not wanting to give up the element of surprise, she quickly strung her bow, and took out two of the soldiers in front of her, before anyone had even noticed that she was there.  Both dieing with a suprised look on their face as they looked down to see arrows potruding from their chests.

Their comrad turned to her,  seeing her for the first time,  his eyes seething with anger.

"That wasn't very smart missy, now you will be dieing.." he growled, and charged twords her, sword outstreched.  Pulling out her scourge, she whacked him on the head, but not before he left a long gash on her arm, but being in the moment, she failed to notice.

Rushing forward, she began to look for the other members of the party, but none of them seemed to be in sight.  She hurried on, until she spotted Severine, in the midst of a sword fight with one of the...people against them.  But this man seemed to be different than the ones she had just left in the village.   This one didn't seem to be a soldier, or if he was, he was of a different type.

She suddenly heard the sounds of hoofbeats, and turned around to see a man on horseback, flying twords the pair, intent on killing Severine.

"Severine!   Horseman..coming your way.." she hollered over the din, but realized that if she didn't do something about this guy, he would kill her as well.  Reaching behind, to string an arrow into her bow, she found her quiver empty.

"Damn, perfect timing too.." she cursed to herself, and thinking fast, she stepped aside.  Once the horseman was level with her, she grabbed onto the saddle behind the man, and swung up.  All would have worked perfectly, as Elraralia clobbed the man in the head with her scourge, had the horse not felt the new weight, and panicked.  Rearing back, legs flailing in the air, the horse fell backwards onto Elraralia and the now dead man.  As it did, Elraralia felt the man's sword stab into her upper thigh, and  then heard something break.

Pick soared up in the air, watching with passing interest as the battle continued. "Stupid Lucky..." the bird mused to herself, out of range for the half-elf to hear her thought's clearly "What has she gotten herself into now?"

The crimson colored eagle spotted the inn and landed gracefully on the the half-open window sill. Pick hopped onto the bar top and a startled tender began to shoo her away. "Oh shut up you ugly sot!" she thought angrilly, and hissed menacingly at the barkeep. Confused, the innkeeper backed away as Pick pulled a sopping rag from a water basin and flew back to Luca.

Luca leaned against the pile of barrels, poking her numb forearm, quite amused that she couldn't feel anything. Suddenly Pick, effortlessly carrying a wet wash rag, flew into sight and dropped the soaking rag on Fflewdur's head before landing on Luca's awaiting arm.

"NOW would you mind telling me what on Ava's loving earth is going on?"

Severine dodoged the soldier's attacked, and tried to counter, but the man was just too quick for him. Severine cursed at himself silently as the man blocked his attack for the fifth time. As began circling the man, trying to look for an opening, he heard Elrararia call his name, as well as warning him of danger. Knowing that he would have to finish the fight soon, Severine thrusted a hidden knife into the man's side, and finished hi off with another stab from his sword. Drawing the blade out from his victim, Severine tunred around to see an unusual sight. Elrararia was on the ground along with the man she attacked, and...the horse that the man was on. Running over to her, Severine tried his best not to panic.

"Elra!" he cried. "Are you alright!?"

Gritting her teeth against the pain, Elra looked up at Severine.

"Never been better, hows the weather up there?  Almost done playing war?" she asked jokingly, but failed to lighten the situtation.
"Think you could help me get this beast off of me?  I would..but I broke something when the horse landed on me...and the stupid bloke's sword is in my thigh..." she said, and with a shove, tried to push the horse off of her, but quickly gave up her head spinning from the blood loss from both her thigh and arm, and she let her head drop.

Fflewdur waved a farwell at the leaving man and muttered a feeble good luck. He leaned back and breathed deepely.

Fflewdur looked up in suprise as an elf hurdled over the barrels, and the leaped up as a horse crashed nearby. He quickly sat back down as pain stabbed up his leg.

He waved in greeting as the  elf addresed him. He relaxed for a minute then closed his eyes. He started when something wet collided with the top of his head, obscuring his view. He reached up and pulled it off and discovered that it was a wet rag. He looked at the elf and thanked her. He hardly even noticed the eagle on her arm.

The dwarf quickly undid his bindings and cleaned his wounds. Then he ripped the rag in half and used it to bind his wounds. He hoped that the water on the rag would help keep his injuries clean.

Are you okay? - said Julia

Yeah - said Sable - just help me stand up...

He almost fell down again but Julia hold him. Sable took a look around, all the rangers had been defeated, and Tierria was still there. But the other woman... he tried to remember, and was almost sure there was another woman with them, the one had been kidnapped.

There still were people fighting, and a group of mounted soldiers had just arrived. The ones in front of the hut were having problems with them all.

Take me near Tierria. Then go and help that ones.

Julia nodded and carried him toward the girl in the ground. Then left him there and rushed to the great melee

Tierria? My name is Sable. Your parents asked me to protect you and serve as a bodyguard - despite the pain in the shoulder, he smiled a bit - It seems I'm going to have more trouble than that I though at first.

*Dray and Ardan head the hooves and their smiles quickly turned to grim looks of hardened soliders knowing he battle still rages on. Dray and Ardan take off racing around to the back of the house and see the mounted horsemen fighting and Severine trying to help someone trapped under a horse, 2 horsemen were riding right at Servine. Dray and Ardan take off without a word to each other trying to best the horses in a race to Servine. Dray just lets out a cry not having the air to yell a warning and try to beat the horsemen to Severine.*

"Ardan:BEHIND YOU!"

*Dray speeds himself on as the wind starts blowing at his back to help him gain more speed at his beckoning. Dray's hand begins to glow a red orange and Dray throws something towards the riders, but nothing happens*

Damn it not again it always fails me when I need it!

*Dray sees a spear laying on the ground dropped by one of the other horsemen and picks it up and races by Severine with the spear held at waist level. Dray stops and waits as the horsemen charges on leveling his own spear at Dray. Dray waits then when the rider is too close to change his direction Dray plants the spear against the ground and places his foot behind it and raising it to an angle and ducks down as the horseman's horse runs right into the spear and rears up causeing the rider to fall being caught surprised and not gripping the sadle enough. The horse falls over as the poison on the spear takes effect. Dray then redraws his long sword to battle the oppoent on even terms*

*Ardan sees Dray grab the spear and looks around for another, but not seeing one keeps on going. Being a seasoned solider Ardan knew how to handle calvary on foot. He stopped past Servine and stood his ground in a low crouch and sword at the ready at his side pointing straight up. The horseman leveled his spear and urged the horse on faster towards Adran. Ardan waited til the last second and dove to the side of the horse away from the spear but brought his sword down and sliced the front leg on the horse as he did so. The horse's leg buckled since it was at full gallop and the rider fell foward over the horses head and to the ground. Ardan smiled from the ground as he watches his handy work and gets up to face his opponent*

Severine gathered as much strength as he could to lift the horse. which he did successfully, with the help of several other rebels. Unfortunately, it took a lot outof him. Carrying Elra in his arms, Severine moved quickly to a safer spot while the rebels covered him. Putting the eleven girl down, Severine inspected her wound.

"This is too great for me to tend to" said the Shendar, shaking his head. "We'll have to find Tierria to take care of it or someone else with her talents."

Hearing the war cry of a soldier, Severine turned around and threw a well placed knife into the man's heart, making him fall off his horse, dead.

Sighing to himself, Severine turned his attention back to Elrararia.

Tierria looked up at the man known as Sable. It figures that soon after the young woman left her home of Uderza that her parents would send someone to find and protect her. Why did she need that when Severine was there for her? Maybe not at this particular time, but she didn't even know who this man was!

Laughing slightly at his statement, she shook her head. "Why am I not surprised..." Tierria stood up, and started to walk past Sable. "Well right now, we have to find Severine and the others. Everyone has to knoww hat happened to Phiona!"

Luca didn't notice Fflewdur's acknoledgement as she was busy explaining Pick what was going on...or at least the parts she understood.

Finishing her story, Luca stood and dusted off the seat of her skirt. Just as she was about to walk away, an arrow laced in more poison shot in front of her face. A thud sounded against one of the barrels then another soon after. The half-elf cursed as she clearly heard the hoofbeats of the aproaching archer.

Faster than she expected, an archer sitting atop a horse came around the barrels. The younger man was surprised to see his target break into run and, before he noticed the dwarf, was trailing it. Luca zigzagged her trail, arrows hitting the ground around her feet. But the shots were getting more and more accurate, and with an extra quiver strapped to his saddle, the archer wasn't about to run out.

The half-elf continued her run and soon noticed Severine and some other rebels a bit in front of her. The man on horseback in pursuit, Luca let out a cry "Anybody fancy lending me a hand?!!?"

"Anybody fancy lending me a hand?!!?"

Severine turned his head, and saw Luca running towards him, being chased by an archer on horseback. Not feeling surprsied about how the girl got herself caughgt up in that situation, Severine ran towards the archer. The moment the archer took out another bow and was about to fire, Severine rolled forward as soon as the man shot the arrow, throwing his last knife in the process, hitting its target. The man fell off the horse and was soon greet to a stab through the chest. Pulling out the blade, Severine turned to Luca.

"There you go."

"So, you saw them fighting?"

Eryk was leaning against the wall in Severine's room. Ripp had just came back in through the window., and Penrith was sitting on the bed. As for Gromelson and his men, they were standing near the doorway.

"Yes, I did. Actually, I saw Severine as well as a few people I don't recognize. As for everyone else, they were out of view. I doubt it if that half-elf is with them..."

"Well I could careless even if she was. It's the others we have to worry about," said Gromelson walking forward. "Now the question is this: Can we get past the guards to our comrades?"

"We could," replied Ripp. "But we must be fast. We can't waste our time with fighting everyone that we come across."

"Damn." Penrith tried his best pouting expression.

Eryk went over to the man, and patted him on the back. "Maybe next time my friend."

Gromelson smiled, and shrugged. "Well with all the men out there, we'll have our share of fighting. Hell, maybe even Ren will join us."
