He doesnt. I am lieing to Marlus about who sent me *Sev told me to* also sometime a messenger comes in about sev and Ive been told to go after him, I belive thats when the main trust of the fighting is over. But just have to check with sev when I get chance to speak to him.

Marlus Blackwine is not my PC, he is an NPC.  I am only running him because I, along with Severine, am running this story... and that he is a background PC for Phiona Whitefire, who is my PC.

It makes no sense to me that Shrive would provide a forged document to Kim, and tell her to lie to Blackwine, especially when Shrive is over Blackwine in the hierarchy and can send him a direct order.  Blackwine has done nothing to give reason for his superiors to doubt his abilities or his loyalty.

Unless Shrive is planning something against Kalyn and is trying to implicate Blackwine or get Blackwine out of the way, both meaning that the traitor is really Shrive.  

Severine needs to communicate all this to me.  No offense, Kim, but if I don't hear it from him, it ain't happening.  I cannot post anymore until I find out what this plotline is about... maybe you or Severine can email me the details.

No offense Phiona, but why don't you just run with the idea?  Severine has obviously given his ok, and has never not liked one of our ideas in the past.  Half the fun of RPG's is to see where they go, with the culmination of ALL of the players' ideas.  And Sev has never given me any reason to think that he wouldn't be alright with other people's opions, especially since he has asked most of us what we think should happen in the story.  These aren't meant to be plotted out by the second, that is what stories are for.  And if we continually wait for Sev to hold our hands, and walk us through the entire story, it will die in a moment.  Look at what happens when he leaves for a weekend: we just stop.  This shouldn't happen.  Not only that, but it is kinda of boring when the story goes only in one way.  Mods are supposed to loosely direct, not dicatate every line.  At least that has been my experiance in the past.  Other wise, the story would just be the mods acting through other people, and if that is what you want, then I have to ask you: what is the point of the other characters?  Because if that is what is happening, then they have no point, whatsoever, except to add color throughout the story via their pics.  And that my dear lady, is no fun whatsoever.

I am not offended, Elraralia.  I think you miss the point entirely.
Blackwine is not my PC.  He is an NPC and as such is embedded in the plot.  Therefore, I need to know which way the plot is headed in order to run him.

Phiona is another matter entirely... she, like your character, can run in any direction that works for her.

I don't know what happened to Severine.  I find it strange that he should just disapear like this without a word, but it's hard to continue without him.

I will go ahead and post, because I am the Co-Mod and this story needs to be prodded.  But I am not happy about being kept in the dark by Severine or any of the Players.

Sorry I kept everyone worried. A LOT of personal stuff is happening in my life that has caused me to become distracted with this story that I have not had my focus on for awhile. Thanks again for your patience. I'll do my best to keep this thjing running, like I said in the beginning: there's no way I'll abandon this rpg. You have my word on it. For future reference, Phiona, if there's a time where I'm not on for awhile, I'll give you automatic say on what goes. I trust your judgement. Elra's right about one thing. There wasn't too many things that I have objected to whenever someone would post ahead of me. well...we might as well get things running and continue with this chapter...

Phiona, I'll give you contorl of Blackwine for the time he's with Phiona. It'll be better that you take on that part of the story. I'll take care of the NPCs that everyone else will deal with. and thank you kim for sticking with the story.

Just in case you guys don't know, chimes = minutes, while bells = hours.  Its a time system that Gararion came up with for this campaign world.      Nifty neat.


Kim:  Blackwine is one of the big bad-nasties in this game.  He is not a nice person and he'd just as soon kill Kim as look at her.  But, that is just the NPC.  Antagonizing him further is not a wise strategy for your PC.... fair warning.      But whatever happens, I hope you will "roll with it".


Severine: I am going to stir things up here shortly.
