By the way, Sev, in my last post, Phiona is whispering very quietly into Tierria's ear and even Ardan who is standing very near shouldn't have heard her.

Also, I can't help but feel like we just took away a much needed fight for the new Players (so much for being rescued, eh?) so we should arrange for a battle to happen soon.  Very soon.

What if, instead of us going on offense, a couple of patrolling guards saw all the activity at this small house and the people climbing onto the roof.  What if they called for re-enforcements?  I think if a large number of Blackwine's soldiers were to show up right now, we'd all be in for a hell of a fight. It would force our group and the rebels to work together and to trust each other in a pinch- to hell with deals and negotiations- what do you say?

I was all ready to write this up and post it, but I wanted to check with you first...

amazing how u and i think alike at times. i was planning for word to get back to blackwine that there is strange activity going on. blackwine was actually going to send some of his men to investigate. so there WILL be a fight coming up very soon. u can go ahead with starting the action if ya want phiona.

Im back! HAHAHAHAHAHA!  

I tried to accomodate everything that happened while I was gone into my post. If I missed something just tell me and I will edit it into my post.

All right people, until I- or Severine- say otherwise, the only band attacking the rebels (and thus being seen or heard) right now is the Redmarks (those would be the ones coming up the road and pounding on their shields, you can't miss them).  These are experienced troops and not to be taken out lightly! This should be a fierce battle.

The other troops won't come in until I- or Severine- say they do.  One of us will let you know if your character spots them.  I trust you all to post reasonably now.


Severine:   Hawkeye is here too, watching from concealment in the orchard.  He is only supposed to watch and gain intelligence on the rebel's fighting tactics, but you and I know he will take a shot if one presents itself.  His orders are, though, not to engage the enemy, only to watch!

Addendum:  There are a total of  three dozen attacking.  36 men (and 4 of those are women).  By my count we have 12 in the house- including PCs- and 5 on the roof.  Please correct me if I'm wrong.  That is roughly 2 to 1 odds against us!

I will be keeping close count on the casualties, so please don't take out more people than there are here.  

It should be close to noon, on a dry, sunny day.  There are a lot of shadows in the overgrown orchard- it would seem like the perfect place to escape... or the perfect place to set an ambush.

Here is a hint:  If you didn't post that your PC has climbed down from the roof, then your PC is still on the roof.

I think that is simple enough.  

No one is allowed to post for someone else's PC without that Player's permission.  If someone does so, please bring it to either my or Severine's attention and we will fix it.

Alright, so just to make sure I'm right:
Scary man from Phiona's past is outside with a bunch of his scary people, along w/ the ivory foxe's scary people, and we are all going to fight them, now that we have all decided we are on the same side.  Am I close?

Elraralia: Not quite.  Marlus Blackwine is still at his base of operations.  Only three troops were sent to deal with the handful of rebels they believe is in the house (but you guys only know about the one troop so far).

These troops are Blackwine's.  Ivory Fox is a solo act, who happens to be wroking with Blackwine temporarily.

Have you ever heard the term: "The enemy of my enemy is my friend""  That would apply to this situation.  The rebels do not like us, for killing their men, but they hate the Legion of Rage more, so you can say that our group is the lesser of two evils for them.

You are correct in the fact that our group and the rebels have joined forces... fight now, sort it out later.


Talos:  Currently, we are in a village inside the western-most edge of the Sharadon Forest in (roughly) the middle of Santhala.  

Click  HERE and scroll down to where it says "Santhala" in bold.  Directly south of that label, is the Gulf of Maraya, even further south you will find Sharadon Forest (about 2/3  of the way down the map).  

If you read the back chapters (highly recommended for eveyone- especially new players) you will see we started out at the town of Dasai, not far from where we are now (only about 3 day's travel).
