Anyway, the story has started.

The place: Carmalad.

The mission, should you choose to except it: Find two old men and convince them not all young people are inconsiderate.

Basically, come up with some reason to be in Carmalad and make an entrance post, we'll take it from there. If you can get on irc, that would be great.

Just a general information post about my character Khiera to everyone:

Apart from what is stated in her CD, Khiera, at this point in her life, from her clericy to Nakashi, will have gained a certain ability to influence "life force". Since this has not been fully developed yet in The Journey's storyline as planned, and i can't really integrate it into an update to her CD yet, it's a little hard to explain ... This ability is connected to Khiera's emotions. Currently there are two IC examples, one in Bardavos' The Street With No Name thread, and the other one in The Journey's Chapter 1B thread. In Chapter 1B, Khiera simultaneously diminished but yet uhm ... "replenished" the "life force" (for lack of a better word) of the tufts of grass around her while swinging between extreme emotions/anxiety. As the story goes along this ability will be gradually rounded out and developed fully.

I've discussed it with Traxis, and have obtained permission to use this new ability if a suitable occasion/circumstance arises

Do you still need some motivation to switch to Nakashi worship?

Perhaps you could help introduce Ailin into the story... This is what i'm thinking: (btw, is this story supposed to take place before or after the Journey? or sometime in between?) Since he's been traveling for quite a while (all the way from Helente) he'll be very tired and open to attack... And just around the Istarin woods bandits attack him... Since he has no combat experience, well let's say things don't go all too nice for him. But he somehow manages to save himself (see ps), but due to his fatigue and wounds goes into a trans - coma... Maybe you could find him in the forest (you hear/sense Nakashi/Pariya/a voice speaking to you, guiding you into the forest etc)

PS 1: I haven't included this in his history yet, (i'm planning to do it after his talents/pecularities are discovered in this rp, hopefully) but due to his linage (mother side -nybelmar) he is very closely linked with earth. And has a natural - well rather supernatural, but hey... - protection from, and fear towards fire in any form (especially magical). When in close contact with powerful fire magic, or his life is in danger, this force present in him can manifest itself by altering the earth car'all around him to repel the effects of that fire (engulfing him with mud/dust, a branch falling on the caster etc) This power is strongest when he is unconscious and within the reach of a forest.

So, i was thinking... Perhaps you could attempt to heal him (still worshipping pariya) but... things don't turn out to be like what they were expected to be... Seeing the damage she caused / or an exchange/'sharing' between the healer and the patient during the spell has made Khiera regard the ways of Pariya with less affection etc... This is up to you of course...

Just tell me what you think...
