Entrapped Elements New Story

[Bahran the big]

Entrapped Elements

There exist in this world four stones of Oe'xeua, one for each of the elements: Wind, Fire, Earth and Water and a fifth of Ver'xeua, to bind them together. Hidden in ages past, these stones have the power to change to world, for good or evil. Now only five men know the locations of these stones, an evil mage bent on destruction, Oro Hart, a man who's not sure what he wants, or where he is most times, and three other men like him, which each know where one element is. Setting out with a small, but varied group, Oro decides it's time to save the world, but will he be too late?

Basically there was a very powerful mage, and before he died he harnessed the power of the elements to try to keep him from dying. But before he got the chance to use them, he up and croaked. Many years had passed and the tale became mere legend to most. Eventually it passed into nothingness, with only four highly intellectual men knowing anything about it. One day, one of the wise men accidently mentioned this tale to a highly respected and quite powerful mage. That mage was in fact quite evil, and planned on using the entrapped elements to give him immortality. He destroyed the minds of the four men who knew the secret, trying to get information out of them. Only one of the men escaped with even a sliver of sanity, and that was Oro. The other three were still alive, but all they could do was babble the same thing over and over again.

Oro intends to stop the mage, but not directly, he just wants to get all the elements before the evil mage and destroy them.

[Dagmer Cleftjaw]

A man sees. A man knows. A man wants in.

Was it the gold price you paid? Or the Iron?

[Alýr (Rayne)]

Bahran, Hun, you have a wonderful idea, but you're suppose to post this in the Web Design Forum! Respond to this so that you know, then I or one of the other administrators will move it for you.

Now, for the story. The magical explanation for why a person dies is due to a certain "falling-out" of Xeua, or the links that connect the car'all. Thus, obtaining stone of Wind, Water, Earth, and Fire, would really be of no use. In the end, it is the Xeua that determines when a person will die.

My Suggestion: Create Five Stones. There are different kinds of Xeua, one which is called Oe'xeua, the other, Ver'xeua, representing connections between two of the same element (Wind and Wind) and one of different Elements (Wind and Earth).

Thus, you have four stone of Oe'xeua (Wind, Water, Earth, and Fire) and one of Ver'xeua. These stones strengthen the kind of Xeua they represent. Understand?

And sorry for not putting accents on Xeua and Car'all and such. I'm on a laptop that doesn't allow me that.

Gah, yeah, I was afraid it might supposed to be there.

Youcan move it there now. And I'll change the Wind, Water, Earth, and Fire to the Oe'xeua and Ver'xuea.

Alright, I've moved it.  Just wondering, Bah, wasn't there such a story in the past?

There is no emotion; there is peace.
There is no ignorance; there is knowledge.
There is no passion; there is serenity.
There is no death; there is the Force.

[Lursus Khrath]

Aye. There was. I was wondering what happened to ol' Oro.

To those who have expressed interest in joining, we'll look over your CD's and get back to you. Thank you for your patience.

Fishhook you'ree in with either the theif or fighter, when we get another theif, we'll put you as fighter, or if we get a fighter first we'll put you as theif. Very versital, I like that.

Dagmer, you think you could fit the intellectual role? If not, we can put Fishhook down as theif and give you fighter.

Otherwise, you two are both in!

Shaendru, I notice that you're in quite a few stories already, at the moment we'd rather give the slot to someone who's not so spread out. Thank you for your interest though =)
