I do not think he would be in the city, to large, and no matter how well hid, would be discovered.  Maybe he could be on a barge, captured or something and to be brought to the King as a present.  What do you think of that idea?  He could be brought to the King during the tourney, and then the King decides what to do with him.

However I still have a problem with how you are going to RP with him??

Kain, do you think or know of any magic that helps mages to communicate with them?  Cherri?  Anyone?

That idea sounds fine to me, thanks for the suggestion. About my interaction with other characters, I usually just communicate with gestures, expressions, and when neccessary, pieces of parchment. Razorclaw can understand others, psyrpents just lack the apparratus to form words. If any of the characters knew him well enough, then he could speak via telepathy. So one of the other players could be an old acquaintance of his...

If you are fine with the captured idea on the barge then just post a scene with you being in a cage; describe yourself, your feelings, etc etc... and send it to me via ezbox or email so I can see what your RP skills are like.  You can use NPC's in your audition or anything else you can think of that will be relevant to the scene you create.

I am looking for a well written scene, not necessarily long, but well written with detail. I want to evaluate your RP skills. Is this ok with you?

Hi Garth, I was just wondering what an "Agile Harlequin" is?  It sounds like one of those novels with "Fabio" on the cover with a half-dressed woman in his arms. LOL

Actually, we welcome all new players.  Post your CD in the CD thread and then enter in at the city gates.  I am kind of looking for RP players who are not just interested in a "blood and guts" storyline, even though there is some of that and will be more as the story progresses. But more interested in developing their characters and the interpersonal relationships they make with other characters.  If that interests you then by all means come on in.  If, however, that is not what you are looking for, then perhaps you should try another story.

If you decide to join the story, please take into account the time, weather, so forth and so on when posting.  Also, just for your benefit add as much detail as you can to your posts.  I am trying to encourage all of the players to write like you would read in a novel; in other words just do not write just for the sake of posting, but write to draw a reader into the setting, the plot, so forth and so on.

Once you are through the gates, the main place to go is Arth's Spot.  There you can settle in, until we have a chance to talk about how your character will meld smoothly into the storyline.  I am always open to ideas and suggestions.

Please send an email to Kareesh so that she knows that you are on board. If that is your decision.

Actually, that's EXACTLY what I'm interested in, developing my character, and fighting is exactly what I'm not interested in. You see, I'm a midget without any knowledge of fighting. My cd can be found in the link in my sig, but I'll post it again so that you know what I mean. After reading it, you'll know what an agile harlequin is...

Oh, I just had an idea. I read about the ball that will be kept, maybe he can perform there? In his nicest suit? You know, an entertainment act...

Well I hope that you have read the backstory and besides Voldar and Nyer there is a third option, if you wish to know what that is PM me.

Read the rules.

Then enter in your full CD, not a link, please.

If you are still determined to play for Voldar then enter in at the 'Main gate'

Then just go with the flow until I can come up with a way to use your character that will be both benificial and enjoyable to us all.
