I already mentioned via ICQ but though I'd post here as well.

I'm not sure if a second Shapeshifting Dragon wouldn't be slightly off-balance the story. But maybe one of your other chars might fit better into our group and adventure?

@Capher: Well, I was rather confused about the last post. Since when can Capher cast Brownjin magic? From what I've read only certain Brownie tribes know these arts and of those Brownies only the mages (so very few) master this level of power?
Can we maybe size down the effect his spell had to burning the thieves hand or something?
Also I'm confused about Talia's sword. While certainly one of the thieves carries it none would need to or would be allowed to use it. They all have weapons so no need to use foreign ones. So the thief should at least have the sword on his back?

And how does the sword help Capher?

1. I have nothing in general against a new char, but H., our magic master has to wait for so long now, perhaps shouldn't we postpone any decisions till we ARE on this ship finally? And introducing a new char now doesn't make the story better. You have to find a way out of your "Schlamassel"(look if you find it in a dictonnary  ) for yourself.

2. I have to agree with Koldar, read what he wrote when I posted for Alvazarius. Don't make it too easy for yourself. and don't forget that Alvazarius is a man you can talk to (maybe Koldar not in the moment,lol).
To my sword: It was just a suggestion that it might help because of it's dispelling abilities.A copy from my chardescription:
"She(Talia) knows some magic, but she prefers not to use it, not sure if it would work if needed.
                      She knows some healing spells, but it is more her presence which seems to quicken the
                      healing process, she finds more often water out of intuition than with an spell for finding
                      water.
                      It is different with her sword. Talia herself has only few limited magical abilities, but
                      the sword given to her is a strong magic item, though she doesn't know it. This sword,
                      held in her hands and pointed forward will disable or at least weaken any spell spoken
                      against her and protect as well all persons standing behind her or being in touch with her.
                      In special cases it will even reflect the spell upon the caster. It senses magic and if
                      strong, mainly threatening magic is around it will emit a humming sound."

But nobody of you knows about these abilities, or have you seen it somehow with your abilities before, Capher? And if it should work with you, it would probably transform you back in your original form, a dragon,with its  dispelling abilities.It has to happen somehow accidentically when you ask Alvazarius to give the sword back.

Don't tell me that I have to go back to the sewers and save you, I'm clean!!! Thought about just climbing on these roofs and wait there till I see you emerging out of the sewers! Maybe Terra and Avour might help for a solution? Giving Alvazarius her precious stones, lol? The heart is still in Almendas pocket along with Capher?

@Terra: Oh, okay... currently no clue how guards would behave in sewers... okay those behave more dumb but more because they don't know the terrain. But good fighters, they're. Everything set up. Use it to your liking. If you need help, there're some Dockers nearby, if you don't, just try to avoid them!  

@all: What was the plan where Harajan is and when and why he joins us? He's on the ship and..? Just forgot the final version of it... thanks!

Koldar Capher is a brownie, well almost, and he can use any shape's powers he turns into.  So he could use a brownies.  The rat had to die for a brownie has to use life magic.  A life for magic being used.  I probably should have just burned the mans hand.  But it was just his clothing that caught on fire.

After your post I have no idea, but I will think of something.

Well, but only few Brownies can cast this magic ( flying over the Life magic text it even seems that only certain Aeolian Brownies of a certain clan are good at it), that's my main problem with it.

That happens when people escalate a situation without knowing how to get everyone out of the trouble. Escalation is a bad thing. Escalation  makes Koldar getting killed. Thus Koldar hates escalation! *lol*

Hm... Ok Talia will open Charac descrip back up.

Koldar if I edit my post, then so will Almenda and you and I do not think you want to do that.  I will think hard on my next post.  As far as Hajaran is concerned he, I believe is just a passenger aboard the Black Pearl.

Concerning Issa, the new character, she does not shapeshift, is very anti-social and does not even know Capher and she is a prisoner aboard the Black Pearl, so her character would not even be in play until we are on board. She just wants to know if she can join?

The Sword that Talia is carrying is in reality the Sword of Fury. That is why it is so imbued with power but even Capher does not know its full potential, he just knows it has strong magic and could heal him.  To bring him back to himself.

I hope that clears everything up.  If not ask more and I will try and explain more.

No need for major change. I set up my post in a way that a major change is not necessary at all and minor ones doesn't influence it much. I only have an uncomfortable feeling about a shapeshifted Brownie, also wounded(!), being able to cast powerful magic.
But everyone can do what he wants but then must not expect that it works. (like attacking a group of thieves that are in a slight advantage and that came there ready to fight)
So major adjustments don't seem necessary to me though the situation is now far more complicate.(what I like! )

For the sword, I don't see that the Sword of Fury has any healing powers? But maybe the sword and some assisstance by the nearby mage might help you focus enough to remember your own shape and personality? That, of course, provides the problem of how to calm down the thieves.

So Issa is in? I only have another uncomfortable feeling about two shapeshifting dragons being _accidently_ at the same place, involved in the same story...

About Hajaran, I thought maybe Talia meets him on the way to ship or on the ship waiting for us.

Sorry again I must be... heck, I know I am annoying but I just need to point it out when I don't feel well with something.

How can my sword be the sword of fury? It was made for Talia personnally by a dwarf she knew well, and these magic reflecting powers aren't healing powers. Couldn't Avour help you  Capher by sharing her blood and heal you?

Issabelle is actually looking for him. Sooo, I would imagine she is following her instincts to find him.

And like he Said.. She doesnt use her powers... She normally stays in human form. Obviously she doesnt use um... Lol... If she is a prisoner or what have you... She Could shift and break the things holding her... but doesnt.
So it would take an  Extreme need, to make her shift.
