Koldar and the dwarf walked through the ship's corridor to the door that leads to the deck. Koldar bows slightly giving the dwarf the hint to go first. Before the dwarf opens the door he stops for just a second.

"Don't play cheap tricks, you have seen what cheap tricks we have. We're your only insurance that you get this ship in one piece to the next harbour." he nods back to the devastated corridor.

The dwarf nods and opens the dwarf. Yelling and the sounds of readied weapons sound trhough the opening but the dwarf hurries to make himself being heard by most.

"Mates! Don't shoot! It's me! The captain is dead! I'm the new captain now and though you might not like it we will have to change our plans! These guests we have are powerful sorcerers and can summon demons! I have seen it myself. They only grant us to escape when we bring them to the next port! Don't do anything stupid or they'll burn you alive!"

The words came out like a waterfall as Koldar, hidden behind the door pressed his sword deeper and deeper aagainst his back till the dwarf has ended to his satisfaction, pearls of sweat on his forehead.

"Aye, the mate is right! I have seen it myself how a woman killed five of us in the blink of an eye! No woman but a witch could do that!" - "And there was smoke coming from the lower decks!" another shipmate yelled. Koldar smiled, the rumors about the things  going on below deck had already spread and into the usual direction given how easily impressed sailors are.

"What should we do now, Cap?" The dwarf hesitated but then urged "Lay down your weapons. Don't anger them."

With these words Koldar steps slowly out of the doorway his sword still poking the poor dwarf.

"Wise words, Captain! Now as we have cleared up what will happen when anyone gets unfriendly I'd want you to release any other captives you have. I also want you to search the ship for any other passengers, but if you hear anything strange don't try to find it or even capture it but report back to us or great peril will fall upon this ship. For your unholy acts demons are harassing the ship and we are the only ones that can help you if you encounter one. So be smart and don't gamble on our friendship. You need it right now as much as me and my friends need this ship for our journey. I hope you think it is fair enough as you'll get nothing better."

As he's ended his speech Koldar talks again to the Captain in a most superior tone half performed half honest. "Now Captain, you'll excuse me and my sorcerer's friends that we'll occupy the captain's cabin for the rest of the voyage. Reoprt to us when you've found something, don'T sneak up or try anything foolish or you might wake up with an extra pair of donkey ears or worse."

Koldar heads back to the others but stops to talk to Terra.

"Terra, have an eye on them. esspecially if they should stumble over Capher. NO heroic deeds from you either. I'll be the luckiest man ever when I get off this ship soon and these swashbucklers swallowed my story as thoroughly as I hope to. Let's hope for nno more unpleasant surprises."

Koldar approaches Terra after addressing the captain and crew, and speaks.

Terra replies with a slight nod, and her cool tone.

"I will stay on deck and watch them for now, I can no longer tolerate the air in there."

Terra looks out to the dwarves on deck, then continues.

"If there is one thing we can trust about them, it is their superstition and there will to survive long enough to become rich. I will make sure it is adequately impressed that they will die if they face the demon without us."

Talia follows them, glad that Koldar knows how to dealwith these dwarves. And that he has asked to give other prisoners free. but will the dwarves do this?

"Koldar, ask where this other woman is we met not long ago, wth the nice blue dress!"

OOC: Oi, sorry all for my delay.... RL things, business, and general lack of interest/inspiration. Erky.

IC:
Hajarian's interest had been on Capher the entire time of the group's time in the now dead Captain's quarters. Sensing the growing darkness that spread its influence over the man's mind. There wasn't much light resistance left. The magus paced to the corner of the room, looking up into space as he concentrated his senses on Capher. It wasn't until the shapeshifter had turned into a Chasm Demon that Hajarian spared a look out of the corner of his eye. Watching without fear as the demon ran around in a chaotic manner, never once attacking any of the group. He could have killed us all without much trouble, but there is still some flicker of light in him. I wonder if he'll be able to resist the darkness. It was at that moment that the demon ran out of the room, leaving the confused party members behind. Shrugging lightly, the magus looked at the grounded dwarf, and watched as he was given a deal by the warrior, Koldar.

They are then lead to the main deck by the dwarf, who is then pressured into telling the rest of the crew that they are no longer working against the party, and that they are to not hurt the demon. Even if he attacks them? Hajarian wondered to himself. The dwarves lay down their arms and Koldar commands that he and the group will be maintaining presence in the Captain's quarters for the duration of the journey, before telling Terra to stay and make sure the dwarves did nothing... foolish.

Hajarian turns to Terra and Koldar. "I shall stay out here with you, Lady Terra. We are the two they fear most in any case, I believe." The magus chuckled, folding his hands behind his back.

Hajarian turns to her and Koldar, then addressed them.

"I shall stay out here with you, Lady Terra. We are the two they fear most in any case, I believe."

Terra replies as he begins to chuckle.

"This may need to change. We are protected from Capher for now, but they are not. It may seem strange, but I fear more for these dwarves well being than his if they should encounter each other."

Koldar nods at Talia's proposal.  Turning around he fetches the dwarf who was just giving orders to his comrades under the close surveillance of Terra and Harajan.

"My dear friend." He grins broadly at the dwarf. "We had another passenger with us in our room. It was a woman in a blue dress and long dark hair. I hope you find her quickly and that no harm was done to her, otherwise I fear for our fair agreement!"

The dwarf was close to spit out over these kind words but decides to play nicely and waves to a sailor nearby ordering to find this woman quickly. The next minutes pass in a tensed silence as Koldar, terra and Harajan watch the crew taking up their normal tasks again always aware what might happen if some dwarves rather play brave cutthroats than feeble sailors.

After several minutes several sailors bring Sapphire, obviously still chained up todether with another sailor who was looking very confused.

Koldar looked unpleased at the captain. "I assume this is just a mistake. Release her!" he orders in a demanding voice.

"But, Cap' that..."  - "Ah be quiet!" the captain is obviously fed up with these games and just wants to get over this crisis quickly. "Uncuff her he orders himself."

Koldar walks over to Sapphire kneeling beside her.

"Everything alright?"
