Koldar was slowly growing impatient. For once it was not very comfortable standing on some inches of wood and dig your fingernails into the ship wall, it was also getting rather cold and slippery out there without something decent to hold on. So he decided to climb further up the sword dangeling down his belt.

As he managed to reach what must be deck level - there were glass windows at this height obviously for the higher ranking staff of the ship. He takes a a quick peek through one of the windows and is surprised to see that he was just climbing outside the captain's cabin.

Well, Issa told him that the captain was dead, but it couldn't hurt to see for oneself. Fastening his grip at one of the pillars decorating this part of the ship wall by wrapping his right arm around it Koldar reaches for his sword and cautiously tries to break the window. Before he can succeed he sees a movement within the room. Somone has seen him!
Not wasting any more time he pushes himself away from the window using the pillar as some kind of axis to give his movement some speed.  With as much force he reverses his movement  and kicks in the glass window with one foot.

With the noise of breaking glass Koldar falls into the captain's cabin crashing hard onto the floor in a pile of glass and splinters. He takes only a second to recover and then sees a dwarf with anxious eyes fixed upon him retreating to the door.
With a jump Koldar is on his feet and over the table - the balantly ignoring the dead captain - and is with two big steps at the dwarf who just wants to open the door yelling for help.

Koldar shuts it in front of the dwarf with his own weight and in a swift movement grabs the dwarf by the neck and placing his sword at the dwarf's throat.

"So what do we have here... a loyal officer praying for his captain's soul... or a sneaky murderer!"

Koldar nods to the Captain's corpse whose head has fallen onto the desk as Koldar was after the dwarf. His tone was cynic and his grin was an iron mask.

"Aren't you one of the captain's officers?"

Stares bugeyed at the knight with a sword to his throat. "Aye, I be the second in command.  I found the captain dead.  I was just about to go tell the crew when ye came burstin in here like Coor himself.  Tell me how ye did it?"
************************************************************************
Capher smiled at Talia, "I get to the point where I no longer desire to be in a cooped up place.  I long for fresh air, and space, lots of space.  I also long to reach Milkengrad before it is too late."  Capher poked his head out of the opening in the wall made by Koldar and looks up.  Koldar is not in sight.  He looks down and the sharks seem to have doubled in numbers.  He drew his head back in, "Avour, ready to climb.  Remember do not look down, there are plenty of hand holds to climb the ship.  I think Koldar is taking a look around, to see if it is safe.  I do not see him from here.  But I am sure he will be waiting for you."

Capher looked at Talia and Terra, took a glance at the rope and remarked, "Very good job, Terra and Talia.  The knots will give us something to hold onto as we climb.  Give the rope to Avour."

"Aye, I be the second in command. I found the captain dead. I was just about to go tell the crew when ye came burstin in here like Coor himself. Tell me how ye did it?"

Very well, just the one we need, Koldar thinks by himself but then speaks harshly.

"You fool ask how we did it? You challenge the demon lords of Osthemangar and as how we did it? ... We called our masters and laid a curse onto this ship. As you tried to betray us and lied at us when you breathed I think it is only logic to assume that you'll serve us as better as Zombii when your stinking lieing tongue has been fallen off you!"

Koldar shakes the dwarf wildly. He lied the nine hells upon this dwarf to frighten him. He pushes him towards the Captain.

"Look at your captain. Now he has fallen into the sleep of the dead but soon he'll raise to serve us till the end of all time and you and the rest of you scum will soon follow."

He hoped to have frightened this dwarf enough for now but he was sure that some tricks from this Haj and also from Capher would surely convince him even more. Pulling the dwarf with him he walks back to the window.

"The rest of you may come, it's pretty safe up here.... at least for us." he adds with a manic glance in his eyes.

As Terra and Talia  begin tying the last knots in the rope, Capher tells them they have done a good job. Terra just looks at the length of knotty rope, and shrugs.

"Lets just go get ourselves safe passage to shore, and get off this ship."

Once Talia had finished the last knot, Terra wound the rope so that it could be easily carried up the side of the ship, and hands it to Avour.

Avour took the rope and looped it around itself. Making a special knot so that the rope was tied about it self to aviod it falling appart as she climbed. Hooking the rope around her ankle she squeezed through the whole Koldar had done so before with a lot more ease.

Her smaller more agile frame allowing her to manover herself more. She looked up and kept climbing, hearing voices she moved towards them. When she saw Koldar and a dwarf talking she assumed that it was where she was meant to go. Avour made her way towards the window and took a firm grip on it.

Turning around, she saw the sharks that Capher had warned her of. "Hello Fish-animals" Avour waved with her free hand. "Hungry Fish-Animals" She giggled, and popped her head through the window.

"Here Koldar-kin?" She asked raising her foot up to the next window pannel and looked at him.

The dwarf shook all over.  These people are demons.  The Captain is dead.  Now I have this one, with death in his eyes, and steel in his hands threatning me.  And now the green one comes up the aft of the ship.  What next?

"Whoever or whatever you are.  I will do anything you ask.  Just no more curses.  You killed my Captain.  I hear the crew down below yelling for help and that they see demons.  What do ye ask of me?"  He cried, cringing in Koldars steel like grip, looking at the man's eyes fearing the worst.

Avour climbs out the hole Koldar has made when he widened the small window. Gracefully as always and as if she would do it daily she vanishes out of sight. Talia squeezes herself out of the hole as well watching Avour climbing up the ship easily. Then Avour gets  nearly out of sight, obviously she has entered an opening.

How do I know now, when the rope is fastened somewhere?

„ Avour seems to sit on a kind of window sill. " She tells the other remaining members of her group. " If we get a sign that the rope is fastened somewhere, who will go first? Maybe you Terra, just in case your sword is needed up there? And then Capher and then you, Hajarian? And I watch our back?“

"Sounds like a good plan, Talia.  Do you have your weapon?" Capher asked, pacing the floor.

Terra merely nods in assent of Talias plan. Then her gaze begins to change, widening, drinking in the details of her suroundings. Her body also seems to take on a sort of peaceful balance, as she prepares herself for the iminent conflict with the dwarves. She make one last check of the buckles on her armor, and of her weapons to be sure they are secure and waits for it to be time to go up the side of the ship.

Koldar just considers what to do with that dwarf - wether they can trust him or not - when Avour appears in the window with a rope. Hmmm... he might be frightened but certainly not frightened enough.

"Avour, fasten that rope to that closet." he points to a heavy oak closet close to the window. With some force he drags the still struggeling dwarf to the window and sees that the rope is fixed well to this cabinet. The dwarf was pleading for his life already but Koldar was not quite satisfied.

As they reach the window Koldar loosens his grip - but not his sword - and faces the dwarf with stern eyes.

"...What do ye ask of me?"  the dwarf ends.

Koldar raises his index finger to make him listen.

"Right now? Just hold that rope." Koldar wraps the other end of the rope around the right hand of the dwarf in a loop and without another word throws the puzzled dwarf out of the window. One could hear the dwarf scream in panic but just a second later the rope was tightening and the closet made a jump as the dwarf reaches the end of the rope.
Koldar looks down to see the dwarf dangling at the ship wall just slightly more than a ped above those dangerous fins.

Koldar looks at Avour a wicked hrin on his face.
"Had to test wether this rope will hold. It seems it does." He blinks at her and then returns to the door to listen for some unwelcomed visitors.

~Ebon darkness melted into Issabelle's mind... Time had passed.... much... time. Groggyness filled her senses as she took a deep breath. Eyes of a new crimson hue fluttered slightly as muscles throughout her mind clenched, attempting to force their "portal's to the world" open. Her rusty colored tongue slipped from the depths of her mouth, cascading over her lips. Her muscles finnally won the battle and her eyelids finally fell apart. The light of day stung her senses, but she forced herself to ignore it.~

~She swallowed dryly as she allowed her eyes to focus slowly on the wall before her. The grains of wood seeping into her brain as she concentrated on becoming more aware of her surroundings. She took a deep breath as she turned her eyes slightly. One would imagine her head would have followed the gaze of her eyes, but as she tried to turn her head a pain shot through her body. She clenched her jaw tightly and avoided a deep growl. She turned her eyes slightly up... eying the sky, which she seemed to be a part of here, in her "cage." She then turned her eyes down.... she was weighted down by heavy chains... why.... she wondered. She could see the blood stain along the front of her chest and she blinked. Was she dead?~

~Within a few moments... muscles that pained her began stretching painfully. She dug the heel of her right foot into the floor beneath her body a little to awaken the dead muscles. The chains, pilled upon her kept her from moving too much ~

~After an hour she was able to feel her body again. Able to see her cuffed wrists, pinned to the sides of whatever it was that she was in. A voice then, broke her concentration.~

Comfortable, Beauty?

~She lifted narrowed, crimson eyes to the man and hissed.~

Do I look comfortable?

*He chuckled at her and dropped down into the rounded space, crouching to look to her. His small, fat hand grabbed her chin and he forced her to look at him. He grinned before standing. He pulled some of the chains off her, lessening the weights upon her form before picking her up. She was still chained up good enough that she could hardly move. He moved to step out of the crow's nest with her... Apparently... Someone wanted to talk with her. The man holding her set her down once back to the solid ground. He leaned her back against the  wall and turned to face another man. The other man nodded to something spoken before moving to talk to Issabelle.*

What are you and your friends Up too?

*He asked... Issabelle rose a brow... glaring at him slightly*

I have no friends upon this ship... Let me go.

~She tempted to shift... she would take care of these men once and for all for chaining her up like an animal. Her muscles quivered... but the feeling of shifting was not there. She kept her face blank as she glared at the men. She had to have been drugged... She was numb.... couldnt find her power.... She shifted her arms under the chains, moving a little in attempt to find weakness in that which locked her in one place.~

Is that So.... Well... we Will see

*The man drew a dagger... grinning slightly as he drew the tip of the blade along her chest slightly, slicing the front of her shirt a little, exposing a slight bit of her chest before he brought the dagger to her throat... He slowly let the cold blade tickle her flesh... Not pressing hard enough though, to make her bleed. He brought the dagger to her forehead, following her as she moved to pull away.*

We will see... what your... "Friends" Do when you bleed.

*He grinned slightly as he sliced a long slendar cut, starting above her eyebrown and ending along her cheek.*

~She clenched her jaw but said nothing... taking a deep breath as she felt the steamy blood seeping down her cheek. Narrowed eyes remained on the man... She said Nothing.~

Before he knew it he was tied up, and thrown overboard.  He screamed all the way down as he saw the sharks.  Suddenly the rope stopped and he slowy hung and twisted there in the wind.  He twisted his head and saw the dark haired woman, and a red haired woman looking at him, a little startled themselves.  He squeaked, "Oh, please mistress tell your dark friend up there not to let me go.  I will do anything he asks. Pleeeeaaassse.?"

Terra takes only a quick glance down noting the pleading dwarf at the end of the rope. Then grabs hold of the rope and begins her assent, clumsily at first, but quickly getting used to climbing a knotty rope. The climb to the window was long and strenuous, but as Terra was well rested, it was not tiring.

Having reached the sill of the window Terra jumped down into the room where Koldar and Avour were waiting. Landing on both feet she used her legs to cushion the impact and made little noise, trying not to alert any of the crew that may be out side. The room appeared to be the captains quarters, and by the looks of the body on the floor, the captain was well dead.

As Terra straightens she quietly addresses Koldar, indicating to the body with a hand.

"Well, we will need another ranking officer now."

Avour stands next to Koldar, when the others start appearing in the room she starts to walk around looking at the various items with in the captians quarters. Walking over to the book shelf Avour runs her hands across the books and then removes on randomly.

She opens the book and smells the paper, and then closes it again and looks sadly at the leather covering of the book. Her eyes well up with tears as she looks at the other books on the shelf covered in a similar fashion. Placing the book back on the shelf Avour rubs her hands together and then rubs them over her face. Walking back to Koldar's side as she waits arms folded for the others
