Below is a summary on the posticons used for the character description approval process. The posticon of the first post should always be edited according to the current state of completion of the character description (either by the player, a Moderator or an Administrator).
1) PLAYER - CD is incomplete. Use this posticon if you have not finished your CD.  4) MODERATOR - CD has been approved by one moderator. A second mod's approval is needed.
 2) PLAYER - CD is completed. Use this if you have finished working on your CD.  5) MODERATOR - CD has been approved by two moderators. An Administrator should soon take care of the titling.
 3) MODERATOR - An expert's opinion is needed. The specific field in which the expert's help is needed should be added to the title.  6) ADMINISTRATOR - An administrator has titled the character, and the thread will soon be moved to the CD Archives.

hi, i've updated it a bit but I'M STILL WORKING ON IT i would like input so i don't have to change the whole thing later. thanks.

Name: Thortar

Occupation: Master Hunter and skinner

Tribe: Boltgrumms

Age: 26

Born: 1640

Title: Beast keeper

Race: Dwarves

Height: 1.2 peds

Weight: 2 pyge

Appearance: Thortar, though similar in appearance to humans is significantly smaller and a bit fatter. He has clear musculature and is very fit and healthy. He does not care about cleanliness saying that he has better things to do. He is very hardy and that shows in his appearance.
Thortar does not care about what he does to his clothes so the are very dirty and smell. Thortar wears a small red cloak produced by him from one of the many creatures captured and skinned by himself. His right eye was injured hunting as a boy so he wears a black eye patch over his right eye. He wears rough trousers that look like they’re the only ones he has ever worn. He also wears a sleeveless leather chest plate. On both his hands he has leather wristbands for decoration. He wears tough leather studded boots for grip in all conditions.

Thortar is bald, at least on the top of his head he is. He has black hair forming a beard that covers up most of his face so that the only way to show his feelings is through the eyes. His Beard is very important and is a simple of pride and strength. It is braded with rings keeping them together. His right eye has a scar go right through it so to stop questions he wears an eye patch. He has thick bushy eyebrows and deep-set eyes. His face is rough in appearance and ravaged by time and the elements.

Sure, i guess. Not that many dwarves are mages, usually people stick to specific races tailored to the class they want, but a mage dwarf would make a good jack of all trades

Hi, Thortar, and welcome to Santharia!

You'll want to take a look at the Where To Begin menus on the lefthand side of the page.  Character Creation and Restrictions are the two big ones.  Once you've familiarized yourself with those and have an idea for a character (looks like you've already got that part), you'll want to poke around the Santharian Dream and do some research.  Then start writing the CD.

As it looks now, besides being very barebones, I don't think you can be a necromancer; it's in the restriction section, I believe.  Do some research and flesh it out, then you'll be right on your way to titling.  Also, you'll want to put the pencil icon up on this so people know you're still working the kinks out (and don't start reaming you about incompleteness!)  Good luck!

also, heres another suggestion. i would stick away from the magic for now and create a mage later as entire magic department is being reworked and edited so it would ot be good to try and get involved in magic right now. but you can do what you want and try to make mage its your choice.

May this bless all who read it with what it holds:
