I'm just wondering what everybody's reading. Right now I'm reading A Crown of Swords: Book 7 of the Wheel of Time. The entire series is amazing. If I could get away with it, I would order anyone who liked The Lord of the Rings, the Shannara series, the Redwall series, etc. to read at least the first book. Once you get hooked, you're sucked into them (or at least I was).

Kingdom Come, the graphic novel by Alex Ross and Mark Waid.  It's absolutely amazing.

Over the last month, I have re-read the entirety of Brian Jacques' Redwall series. Other than that, Anne McCaffery's Dragon Rider's of Pern has been occupying my time.

The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman.  Book one of "His Dark Materials" trilogy.

I just wanted to say that this is probably the best series I've read bar none! (this is my third time reading it)  I'd recommend it to almost everybody, as I feel it should appeal to fans of many different genres.  The world that the author creates is absolutely amazing, complete, and so different from our own yet so similar.  It's astounding.

Oh, and regarding Garth Nix, I like his stuff too, but the only book of his I read was "Shade's Children" and enjoyed it immensely.

I've read some manga, not much. "The Keys to the Kingdom" series by Garth Nix is pretty good, although I don't know how much older people than me would like it (I'm gonna become a freshman in fall, so I'm not calling everyone on the site old fodgies  :P )

I'm taking a break from the Wheel of Time to reread some of the Shannara books by Terry Brooks. He's an awesome writer.

Shay Omsford is that his name? Wow havent thought of him in a long time.

I just read Digital Fortress by Dan Brown. it was written in the pre-cell phone era mostly (*shudder*), it got pretty silly near the end.

Oh my gosh...I'm reading so many books right now 'cause I'm in a class called "Young Adult Literature" and we have to read 5 books and write reports on them.

Let's see, I've read Jinx by Margaret Wild, If You Come Softly by Jacqueline Woodson, Walk Softly, Rachel by Kate Banks, Racing the Past by Sis Deans, and Dune by Frank Herbert.

Also, I read the manga Naruto: Shippuden and just random mangas that I come across.
