Yes indeed... I stood in a hot, crowded line, got the book.... and was too tired to keep my eyes open to read it when I got home, haha. The first 18 pages here good though  Roll Eyes

Yes apparently in England (I did not go and queue) there were hundreds or even thousands of people sleeping out the streets to get the book. They have been on the news for the last few days. There were people from all over the world, even some people from the USA who said they only came to get the book in England then they would go home, to the USA.

I actually am quite annoyed with the USA for what they did to the first Harry Potter book. It is really meant to be Harry Potter and the philosopher’s stone rather than the sorcerer’s stone, but America changed it because it sounded too academic apparently.

Hmm, interesting, I hadnt heard of that. I had friends across the country sending me pictures of the book though, since I wouldnt get it for another three ours, hehe.

We were talking in jest about flying to England to get it early, but I didnt think anyone had actually done it! Either way, although I am not a crazed fan, I'm looking forward to reading it =)

Yeah, we kind of expected it over here because it happens everytime a new Harry Potter book comes out.

I'm going through and re-reading all the HP books. I haven't read the latest two (Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hollows) so I'm reading through the first ones and then getting to those. Right now I'm getting ready to start the Goblet of Fire.

My thinking is that it's not worth it to get it early 'cause it's going to be the same book, but at a cheaper price in a month. :|
