What's to be scared of? They're rubbery so they won't break, and if you drop them they bounce!
(JUST KIDDING!) They are very resilient, and easy to care for. Of course I've had two kids and three grandkids, so taking care of them is now second nature. I still take care of the babys in the nursery at church sometimes.
