Black foot, apache, scot-irish, welsh and I think that about sums me up...now my daughters are truelly interesting as they have mayan blood (their dad is 50%). My mother-in-law is first generation Catholic...anyways you add that to all the indian I bring to the genetic pool and whala beautiful babies!! grin

, sorry for my prejudice but you know what I'm going to say. The north is 100X better than the south. 'UP North' you cannot beat the great things we got on offer which include:

- Pies [the proper ones] cannot beat them (Wigan in particular for the pies, also got family there)

- A great community spirit [What can I say, AYE]

- Blackpool (Best tourist resort in the UK, if you discount the radioactive water *Swimming not advised*)

- Manchester United [Welll that team is self explanatory]

- The Trough of Bowland (The word beauty captured in a single landscape, I need to post some picks

)

Come on I bet you all think people in the north live in huts and are farmers, we also have big expensive houses 2 you know grin

Umm, never really thought about northern and southern differences in the UK...but now that you mention it my hubby's uncle wanted to know which part my irsh ppl where from the north or the south...like I would know since it was so many generations (my great great grandad) ago...so i guessed and apparently he liked my answer. Why does it make such a huge difference? Now here in the states I am a proud southerner (in case the y'all didn't give it away). I guess it's the same everywhere!

When we rolled that down the hill, yeah, it was like Indiana Jones! Had to clear the bottom of the hill to make sure it was safe. LOL
