Rome? Italy? Makes me wish I could just so casually mention I would be in some exotic European locale...if I'm lucky, I get to go to Cincinnati once in a while...you guys have a life we Americans can only dream about!

Just kidding. Anyway, I'm not a European per se; I just have the good fortune to be studying in the UK. I'm making the most of Europe's ease of transport, and I still find it amazing that it's relatively painless to be in London one day and Rome or Gdansk or Amsterdam the next. For everyone who hasn't experienced Europe, I heartily encourage you to come try it.
And of course, if anyone wants to make their way to South-East Asia where I'm actually from, it's probably more than worth your time as well.
Now I've got to get ready to shake hand with the Pope and feed my girlfriend gelato on the Spanish Steps.
