~Ponders for a moment~ "Don't get me completely wrong here, there are sports teams I will cheer for. Such as OSU Buckeyes! But these people are insane, they whine like small children. Then if someone sees it from a different perspective ..... they get angry. To my knowledge sports = game. This would be like me going to work, complaining about a post on this site, then becoming upset if a person didn't see it my way. Weirds me out!"

I love hockey, and I love the Edmonton Oilers, but I live in Calgary, home of the Calgary Flames, and I am quickly losing my love of the game due to my roommate.  Every call against his team is a vast conspiracy to purposely force his team to lose.  If they are winning, he is impossible to be around, if they lose, its even worse.  Its to the point I am no longer even interested in my team.

My rant is on pause til i get new ideas.  My rants are never really over and done.

I agree with you Twen. I root for the Packers and the Brewers; You can tell I live in Wisconsin, but I truely dislike when the team has a bad season, all of the talk, especially radio, they talk about firing the coach, or blaming bad umpire calls.  I do have to agree though, that some of those calls were bad, but they are human and they will make errors. But to grind the season, coach and players like hamburger through a meat grinder, just makes me angry...Sometimes when I am listening to some caller who is ranting and raving about something, I yell back, "If you can do better, than do it! Otherwise get off the man's or woman's case!"

I have to listen to my hubby go on and on and on and on, well you get the point, about European Futbol.  Geez, like complaining isn't annoying enough in English...I also have to hear it in Spanish!  Dries me crazy! And then the whole GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL, thing REALLY REALLY irritates me.

I am SO glad my boyfriend doesn't like football. Or anyone in my family, really. Just my sister's boyfriend, but that doesn't bother me in the slightest cause I never hear him about it
