(.•ˆ•…Descrip†ion…•ˆ•.)
The elfess is a bit short for a Sevari but exhibits scores of the optimum qualities of her people. A trim silhouette accentuated with dynamic proportions of curvaceous hips, lengthy slender legs and a sensual sized bosom. The elf’s entire form is a lithesome vision of supple splendor and vigorous health. Pallid skin garners a sense of both sinuous power and spilk-like tenderness, even though the centuries have played upon ßrín’s attractiveness the allusion of it would be hard to refute. The mage does extremely little to obscure any of her corporeal attributes and candidly displays them when on the prowl.

Long willowy arms flow eloquently forth from the elf’s petite shoulder blades. When in movement they travel with fluidity and grace, no matter the circumstances of their use. Though heavily scarred from the elbows down it does little to detract from the plush exquisiteness of their ethereal smoothness. Having earned every mark upon them through the trials of life, the magess wears each like a badge of honor, knowing every white line and the lesson received via their creation. Fragile wrists lead towards a duo of exceedingly nimble hands, although these agile digits are scarred just as intensely as her forearms. None of the superficial wounds detract from their awe-inspiring refinement.

Provocative obsidian orbs sparkle with a cobalt luster from just above the elfess’s sheer cheekbones. A pudgy nose poised just between ßrin’s alluring eyes gives the ancient elf a childlike aura, bewildering many into the perception that she is indeed quite youthful. This modest piece of trickery habitually brings a sweltering grin to be displayed upon her luscious lips. The flirtatious expression awards her future victims a view of the mage’s glimmering white teeth. One may well describe the elf’s chin as somewhat sharp in perspective yet it is more rounded than the majority of her kind. Pointed ears stand majestically perched on either side of her attractive visage, their length always peeking through the diverse hairstyles the Sevari sports.

ßrín’s curvy nor’sidian mane surges to respite just above the elf’s supple waistline. Though no longer glowing with a silky luster, as age has began to pay its reverence in this regard. The elfess still possesses an eminence of profound exquisiteness enhanced significantly by these springing curls. True the mage spares little funds in their upkeep, yet they continue to appear vigorous and well maintained. Rare is the occurrence that she leaves these curving tresses unfastened, preferring them to be pulled back into a high suspended ponytail. Even then loose strands of curls spill out in a variety of unrestrained fashions.

Four silver earrings ascend Brin’s right pointed ear, beginning with a silvery bat, wings outstretched, fitted upon her earlobe. The remaining three are studs with necromantic runes displayed in descending size, the last positioned parallel with the top of the elf’s ear canal. A tear drop shaped stud pierces the lustful elf’s navel, drawing the looks of many would be customers to ßrín’s voluntarily exposed, ravishing abdomen. Many of these piercings were done in her childhood, as invariable attempts to draw respect from her vile brethren. Though the motif has changed greatly over the centuries, her love for bats has overcome any endeavors to alter this in nigh a hundred years.

Frail digits upon her right hand are adorned with an abundance of large rings. Each finger nearly half covered with metallic bats presented in various forms of flight and rest. A spilk like collar, near a nailsbreadth in width, is firmly clasped about the elfess’s delicate throat. Notably displayed on the collar is the twisted form of a bat like creature with its wings outstretched. The adornment has a silvery sheen prominently eye-catching upon the stark black field of the setting. A thick leather glove covers the elf’s left hand from the elbow down. The attire is heavily studded with glistening silver studs, creating an invaluable perch for her winged friends.

Dazzling hand crafted Ether-Flake harem pants, dyed black, cascade over the elf’s succulent legs, revealing copious amounts of opulent flesh. The slits up each side are bejeweled with hoary paillettes, weaved along the seams. A gilded silver belt fastens the leggings about the mage’s petite waist, while silken tethers hold them firmly attached to her dexterous ankles. Under the pure chiffon fabric the mage dons silken nor’sidian underclothing, leaving very infinitesimal details for the imagination. One sensual leg is covered in a form fitting nor’sidian legging that ends near a palmspan over her dainty knee on the left. Soft leather boots in the tint of dried blood are worn over ßrín’s little feet do moderately for warmth, yet are very comfortable for her nightly strolls. Their height ends just a minute number of grains above the elfess’s scantly ankles.

The top ßrín wears is assembled from faultless quality Ether-Flake, stretching from just above her bountiful bosom to respite on her velvety neckline. The translucent material runs over a refined shoulder and down her left arm to rest just under the cuff of a nor’sidian leather glove. To the right the material gives way just before the shoulder into the same silken material that vaguely hides her pallid chest. The textile spans the full-length of her right arm ending in a flowing cuff about the elf’s delicate wrist. An Ether-Flake cloak tumbles ethereally about the dark elf’s form, blanketing her radiant attributes behind wisps of obscurity. This leaves some to the mind's eye of would be clients, but only the blind could miss the enlightening nature of the garment. An elevated rigid collar stands like a picture frame showcasing the maiden’s alluring visage.

The dark elf’s arms may be heavily scarred and many may wonder how this has occurred. Surprisingly men seem to gain a feisty nature when they find their demise so closely at hand. Numerous of these white lines are scratching marks from the final death throes of her victims, every one of them a fond memory for ßrín. Still a few of these marks were acquired in the training of her faithful companions at last bringing the elfess to buy a thick leathery glove to keep the wounds to a minimum. One of the few other mars upon her eloquently pallid flesh is a complex tattoo on her forehead. A detailed yet small depiction of the Sevari coat of arms encompasses the well detailed artwork with the Rowë family name scrawled above the fist.

(.•ˆ•…Personali†y…•ˆ•.)
Tart and charming are accurate descriptions of ßrín’s first impressions exhibited towards most anyone. A whimsical sense of humor and alluring smile are always forthcoming when in the presence of the opposite gender. She has survived on guile and her flirtatious nature for well over two centuries, leaving the dark elf little to be learned in the ways of impressing men. A giggle here and there, adamantly masked behind a gleaming smile is habitually expressed in the company of tavern goers. Without a doubt the elf enjoys the friendships of men far more than she does other females. The mage even goes so far at times to steal away husbands, boyfriends and even casual acquaintances from other women, perceiving them all as rivals.

When solely in the company of other women much of ßrín’s sense of humor takes on sinister undertones. If given the chance in these conditions the dark elf will drop any spiteful words that would cause emotional pain. Raised amongst a tribe that values power above all other things, the magess takes these displays as their weaknesses and revels in the suffering caused. This aspect of her personality might not be considered so bad, except this is a conscious choice the elf makes. True her tribe values power above all other things, yet the elf maiden has had this disposition tempered soundly in competition with other trollops. “Less is more” is the view that she takes under these circumstances. The less competition the elf has the more likely she will not go hungry or cold.

The cruelty the dark elf has suffered over the years has defined some abnormal characteristics in her views of the world. Utter annihilation of her family when she was but a child left the elf with an unstable yearning to be loved. Unaided and surrounded by her fellow Sevari the youthful lass resorted to selling herself to anyone that would desire her wares. Now she can no longer stand to be alone, this has driven the elf’s sanity to the far reaches of her psyche. The elfess would sleep with most any man dropping even the slightest insinuation of caring for her, an act she has partaken in numerous times over the years. Without question her actions and enticing nature leaves her infrequently unaccompanied.

Frighteningly enough, the men she “truly” cares for will most likely meet a fate most revolting. Use to being abandoned after others have used her for their pleasures the elfess does not cope with it well, when she feels emotionally attracted to a specific man. After an evening of intimacy with them ßrín immediately takes on a sadistic infantile nature. The mage will use her magic to firmly bind her lover, an expression of a deeply rooted desire to keep them nearby. Recurrently she will enter into a lovable and light hearted conversation, as if there were nothing wrong with forcibly restraining them. It is not extraordinary for the magess to engage in recreation for hours with a particularly appealing man.

At last the final stages of the dark elf’s fantasies come full circle upon her lover. Profoundly she knows they will leave, drawing forth an all consuming lust from the depths of the elf’s mind. With casual disregard she will slit their throats lapping the blood from the wound with intense vigor, a twisted endeavor to keep them physically bound to her. With intense scrutiny ßrín will watch their lives slowly ebb and fade, dropping coy innuendos all along. Once the maiden’s lover’s life has passed before her all restraints are removed from them.

For hours and sometimes days she continues to play games with them. Holding casual conversations as if they can hear, making love to them repeatedly, using her magic to manipulate them into positions that she will then act out fanciful scenarios upon. All along slicing open new wounds to savor their lifeblood. Brin is in a surreal world devoid of all the happenings of her long life. If ever truly happy the dark elf would be defined as such in these fleeting hours, at last in possession of the one thing she will never know, true love.

Although self-centered with more than her fair share of shamelessness ßrín is not an absolute fool. The ancient elf has traveled extensively with small groups and can at most times keep her advances towards men limited during these times. Guile is used to draw them securely about her, constructing a living wall between the Sevari and the harshness of the road. In truth a copious amount of these long-term relationships result in horrific necrophilia escapades at their conclusion. The emotional bonds garnered over these long trips create a high level of lust and desire in the dark elf, at last resulting in these uncontrolled wishes to pour out in a tidal wave of horrendous proportions.

(.•ˆ•…S†reng†hs…•ˆ•.)
Earth Magic: It may be true that ßrín’s formal teachings in magic were minuscule to put it mildly. After near three-quarters of a century with proper tutelage, the elf maiden has expanded on these humble beginnings through diligent practice. This has fostered the dark elf's skill into a respectable understanding of her craft. If brought to the school of Ximax most would consider the dark elf to be a graduate.

Sadistic Detachment: Some might consider this a flaw or weakness, yet with ßrín’s lifestyle it helps the elf far more than hinders. Indeed she would not bat an eyelash in the presence of those committing murder, rape, torture amongst a plethora of other actions considered unsavory. This permits the Sevari to remain uninvolved with precarious situations, thereby ensuring the elfess's own safety, which is her only concern at most times.

Guile: Many people might deem that a mage would find healthier behavior to make their way through life. Yet ßrín finds her greatest pleasure to be in the company of men, living or dead. Having been in countless mating rituals with various tribes and races, the elf maiden finds it second nature to alter her mind-set and bearing to draw attention from men. In view of the fact that she has practiced this art form from a very tender age, it probably rates amongst the most practiced of her strengths.

Kanapan Terror Bats: A mated pair of Kanapan Terror Bats, Griz and Riz, are constant companions for ßrín during the descent of Injèrá and throughout the night. Though trained well enough to carry messages for the mage she has never had the need or desire to use them for such a purpose. The elf maiden has yet to take the time to designate targets for her friends to seek out, a task that would require sometime to accomplish. Their “friendship” is probably the only true emotional attachment the dark elf has with any living creature. This affection is conceivably the last strands of sanity holding the ancient elf to reality.

Attractive: In ßrín’s youth she stood out amongst many of the young maidens within her clan. Physically she matured quickly, drawing many a young suitors wandering gaze to marvel at the elfess. Both elderly gentlemen and those about her age would make exuberant endeavors to exhibit their supremacy in the lass’s presence. Even after the passing of three centuries the mage’s physical characteristics are thought-provoking to more than a few men. The dark elf’s reluctance in more than the most miniscule endeavors of shrouding her womanly virtues does naught to deter such attention from those around her.

(.•ˆ•…Weaknesses…•ˆ•.)
Bloodthirsty: This is not what most would perceive as a bloodthirsty person. She does not seek to spill the entrails of her enemies in some rampaging display of carnage. Instead ßrín truly finds the taste of sentient creature’s blood to be enthralling, bordering on a lustful yearning for its tart flavor. At times she will commit executions to fulfill this immoral craving, leaving behind bodies that hastily draw unwanted scrutiny from the authorities. This occurs frequently enough that the dark elf’s arrival in any town usually increases the amount of the recently deceased so dramatically that curfews have been imposed.

Necrophilia: The mage has had an insatiable longing for a man to really love her. Alas over three centuries of being used by the men she has met, has fractured the dark elf’s dreams into the macabre. Combined with her magic ßrín can preserve the body of an attractive partner for days, using them to fulfill her sexual needs by animating their material form. Draining their bodies of fresh blood as she sadistically uses them for carnal pleasures. This practice would bring about a witch-hunt of extraordinary magnitude if these vile acts were to ever come into light.

Prostitute: Without question ßrín does fairly well in her chosen profession, clientèle in large towns are rarely hard for the alluring elf to find. Still over the course of the mage’s life horrific events have befallen her habitually. More than once she has been raped, occasionally beaten for refusing to practice her trade, even imprisoned in some areas for committing adultery. The dark elf does nearly nothing to hide her chosen lifestyle and more than a few cat fights have broken out in seedy taverns across the land.

Solitude: Romance is a misconstrued impossibility for ßrín to ever know the true meaning of. Most men treat the elf for what she is, leased property that they will soon forget. Those propitious enough to request a long term relationship with the dark elf have opened themselves to a world of nightmares. The Necromancer might keep them around for sexual gratification, but in the end her yearnings for the dead always win out. Ending their lives so that she can at last be in control if but for a few days. This vile practice leaves the mage in a world of loneliness from which she will never escape.

(.•ˆ•…Magic Sec†ion…•ˆ•.)
ßrín’s delving into the necromantic aspects of Earth magic has granted the elfess a diverse set of abilities. With the property of stillness she is capable at the time of death to bind the “spirit” from leaving the corporal form. In no way does this alter the fact that the creature has died, but it does keep the beings spirit present to bare witness to forthcoming events. Frequently this is done to force her necrophilia victims to witness the horrors carried out upon them.

Less frequently ßrín uses stillness and permanence to give the spirit a translucent form, requiring the Necromancer to remain completely focused upon her target. Though the ghostly form is unable to speak or carry out any actions upon the corporal realm, the dark elf can still garner obscure facts through interaction with them. Asking simple questions with predefined actions for the spirit to take for their answers are the extent of this skill. Though the mage’s time is limited in this regard, some very useful information can be gathered in a very short time.

Unlike practitioners of Necromancy in the realm of fire, the mage has limited skills in the animation of the undead. Only through force of will can the Necromancer move about the deceased form of a dead being. As this requires immense concentration on her part she can not, nor shall she ever be able to move more than a solitary creature to do her bidding. It is rare for ßrín to practice this particular aspect of her art, outside of the manipulation of her “lovers”. Yet the Necromancer has refined this control to an exceptional level through her numerous encounters.

Outside of the dark elf’s necromantic arts much of her Earth magic falls easily within the realms of a graduate of Ximax. Without question the dark elf’s most favorite spell is Bone Crafting, although bone does not award the utmost of defensive properties a complete ensemble does grant an undeniable aura of fear. Still the elfess prefers freshly slaughtered corpses to be used in this incantation; something about sanguine highlights brings regal aspects to the outfit.

In recent times the dark elf has found more than a few useful aspects of her magical knowledge. Her pets shun the light of day requiring ßrín to provide shelter for them when other means are not readily available. Manipulating the element of Earth the magess can erect small caves or shelters in a very short amount of time. If given enough time the elf will even create caverns large enough for her and the bats, when the environment requires it. As earth does not readily return to its previous state these constructions remain for extensive amounts of time and can be reused when necessary. If calling a place home for an extended period of time the Sevari frequently constructs rather elaborate underground dwellings.

When practicing her trade, prostitution, the dark elf usually uses her magic to ensure a steady clientele. Using guile and her practiced radiance she attempts to inspire some semblance of covetousness in perspective men. Once she garners the remotest amount of interest the magess will use the property of permanence to shackle those lustful thoughts in the psyche of her victims. As adultery is one of her favorite pastimes this is habitually used upon married men. Just encase her chosen target should gleam some moral apprehension about cheating upon his mate.

(.•ˆ•…His†ory…•ˆ•.)

(.•ˆ•…Belongings…•ˆ•.)
The clothing described in the Appearance Section.
A pair of pouches that contain dried fruits for Griz and Riz to snack upon.
Flint and tinder to start campfires.
A weeks worth of waybread to stem off hunger while traveling from town to town.
Two wine flasks, one containing water and the other filled with Arti Wine.
A serrated long knife frequently used on those she loves.
A Milari cloak, light grey in hue, is worn in wintry climates.

(.•ˆ•…Familiars…•ˆ•.)
Griz and Riz are the mated pair of Kanapan Terror Bats frequently traveling with the dark elf. Griz adopted ßrín as an elderly member of their roost when his brood was haphazardly destroyed. The elf’s inability to fly leads the bat to perceive her as elderly and he continuously follows the mage in a vague attempt to care for her. As Riz was his mate she has fallen into the same habits, they frequently bring “the elder” gifts of food. Both of the bats must be at least three summers old by ßrín’s reckoning, since they have accompanied her for near two years. They are very perceptive creatures with highly expressive personalities, even after such a lengthy time the elf still learns more as they go.

Well then, I shall have a read through.  Although your writing is far more beautiful than mine, so feel free to ignore what are merely suggestions ;)

The elfess is a bit short for a Sevari but exhibits scores of the optimum qualities of her people. A trim silhouette accentuated with a dynamic portion (should it be dynamic portions) of curvaceous hips, lengthy slender legs and a sensual sized bosom. The elf’s entire form is a lithesome vision of supple splendor and vigorous health. Pallid skin garners a sense of both sinuous power and spilk-like tenderness, (adding in “and” here makes me read this sentence correctly, or maybe the comma should be a ; ) even though the centuries have played upon ßrín’s attractiveness the allusion of it would be hard to refute.

Fragile wrists lead towards a duo of exceedingly nimble hands, although (these are?) scarred just as intensely as her forearms.

Though no longer glowing with a silky luster, as age has began to pay its reverence (I’m not sure what you mean by “pay reverence”.  I looked the word up but still can’t make the phrase make sense.  Somehow it seems to roll off my tongue so nicely that I feel it should.) in this regard. The elfess still possesses an eminence of profound exquisiteness enhanced significantly by these springing curls. True the mage spares little funds in their upkeep(, but/and yet) they continue to appear vigorous and well maintained.

Many of these piercings were done in her childhood (and are/as) invariable attempts to draw respect from her vile brethren. Notably displayed on the collar is the twisted form of a bat like creature with its wings outstretched. A gilded silver belt fastens the leggings about the mage’s petite waist, while silken tethers hold them firmly attached to her dexterous ankles. Under the pure chiffon fabric the mage dons silken (you’ve used “spilk” everywhere else ;)) nor’sidian underclothing, leaving very infinitesimal details for the imagination. One sensual leg is covered in a form fitting nor’sidian legging that ends near a palmspan over her dainty knee on the left. Soft leather boots in the tint of dried blood are worn over ßrín’s little feet do moderately for warmth, yet are very comfortable for her nightly strolls. The textile runs (you have used the word “runs” a couple of sentences back)   the full-length of her right arm ending in a flowing cuff about the elf’s delicate wrist. An Ether-Flake cloak tumbles ethereally about the dark elf’s form, blanketing her radiant attributes behind wisps of obscurity. This leaves some to the mind's eye of would be clients, but only the blind could miss the enlightening nature of the garment. One of the few other mars upon her eloquently pallid flesh is a complex tattoo on her forehead. A detailed yet small depiction of the Sevari coat of arms encompasses the well detailed artwork with the Rowë family name scrawled above the fist.

Simply beautiful Twen, the words all seem to flow together when you read them, makes you want to read it aloud to get the full effect.  Very like good poetry.  :)

I'm not sure if earthen necromancy can accomplish what you suggest here, especially the later part.  Remember that an earth mage would only have the power to bind the parts of the spirit that fall under his domain, leaving a ghost/undead creature whose physical attributes mirror those of the element earth.  As such, the creature would be sluggish, stubborn ect.; not very easy to manipulate let along collect information from.  Perhaps we should discuss a bit more in the IRC before these statements are made a truth and run it past the magic experts, Mina and Fox.

It was already discussed amongst Fox, You and myself, if you had any doubts you surely did not express them then. Why is it you do so now Drasil? As the boundaries of this type of Necromancy have been defined and are "capable" of accomplishing this, I see no need for any part of it to changed. Evidently you miss what was stated in the above, of course this is not a fluid type of control but nodding, yes or no would not be defined as extensive control. I would suggest going to look Earth magic over a bit and understanding it before commenting in CDs any further.
~Sincerely~

P.S.: Fox and I both brought the material to you, as you are a self-proclaimed Earth Master. Just because you have went nowhere with the ideas garnered in the subject, doesn't mean "we" can not write it. I think after 2+ months after our discussions that the "Master" of Earth magic would've jotted something down on the ideas. Evidently this is not the case, so I have done so here.

By technical rights, yes, the Earth mage only has the direct power to bind the parts of the spirit that fall under his domain. That being said, simply increasing the permanency property will make it so that even the parts he can't control will take a longer period of time to fade away--essentially, creating a dam.

Giving the spirit translucent form is probably not possible in a 'spirit' sense. However, I can imagine an Earth mage using various physical components to bind the spirit to and using them as an anchor to view the spirit. Mirrors, glass, and crystal especially--binding the spirit to those objects and then viewing the spirit through a reflection of sorts. The spirit would likely be very slow and unwilling to part with information (though that depends on the spirit's natural inclination), and such information would likely come in slow, deliberate images expressed through the medium, rather than direct verbal communication.

For very simple questions (yes and no), simply keeping the spirit binded to the body and letting it nod/shake head would be simple enough and doable for Earth magic, as well.
