I understand too Talia as my beloved Sheltie, Chelsea was her name, died on Sept 11. While the trade centers and pentagon were being attacked by terriorists, I was cremating my best friend besides my wife and family.

Take all the time you need to grieve.

I've seen a man, my best friend, go down for days when his cat was carelessly run over. So yes, I've seen the pain. Here's a goodwill and a little sympathy.

The romance between Terra and Ta'las could be exploited by Eckra sometime during our journey or even at the end when we finally face him...I believe it is something that should be explored at least.

We all have our weaknessess that can and probably should be considered to be exploited by Eckra himself, or someone or something he sends to thwart our mission. This is just an idea, but perhaps we should look at our character's weaknessess on our own and see where such vulnebilities lie and then perhaps we can implement it into the storyline, however along with our weaknessess we should also look into our strengths and also the way we have grown to overcome most of those weaknessess, so that Eckra or his minions may at first exploit us, but then we overcome them.

Of course each new challenge we face as we travel toward our goal should be strengthening us for the next one, whether we realize it or not and sometimes we won't even realize we have that strength or power or ability until we are called upon to use it.

Just an idea for us all to comtemplate as we continue on...including our soon to be newest addition to our little group.

On the other hand you may all just disregard the idea as bad and I am good with that as well...I do not want to dictate to anyone of you how or what your character does or thinks.

I think its a great idea, Capher, and I wouldn't dismiss it at all.  We should probably discuss this a little more - I haven't thought it through yet myself.

Eckra has actually begun to find his way into Ta'las' subconscious mind, though he would likely see the Shendar as little more than a link to the others in the group who are a greater threat than a simple desert warrior.  If you look here at the dream he had just before Terra and Talia started the last phase of their healing, Ta'las' forays into his Second Reality have provided an opportunity for Eckra to begin his nastiness, whatever we decide it could be.

May I remind you, that I'm still sitting on my tree and that I need somebody to convince me to come down? It is however already the next morning. I think you all are still  a night back.

And here is one of the last pics of Merlin, though it does not show what a lively and lovely cat he was, always ready to show us his love by jumping onto us, shoulder preferably,  rubbing his head against ours, putting softly a paw to our face, throwing himself in our way when he wanted something to eat, so that we always had to walk carefully when he was around...

I think it's alright. We just need to sleep the night, then start the next morning. Then one of us will go fetch Talia. I think at this point it could be either of us, Capher.

Ta'las, I'm not sitting in Terra's tree, but some (50?)peds away in another on the lowest branch. I'm not sure about the time you picked Terra either - I don't have the time to reread all just now.

I have visitors right now and have to leave tonight and will only be back on Tuesday night, so might not be able to react to your whistle, Ta'las (though it was a good idea).
Sorry for the inconvenience, but we are looking hard to get a room for my older daughter who moves to another city to study there (biology) . It starts next week and she has not yet a room..

My post was vague about how far Terra and Ta'las walked.  It was implied that we spoke for a bit and eventually came to your tree.  We're definitely not standing at the base of the tree where Terra's healing took place.

Oh , I was not sure about this, for you wrote, you didn't see me. I'm sitting on the lowest branch, so seeing me should not be a problem. Hmm, maybe I'm on the other side, but on the other hand, I'm looking in the direction of the camp and the life below me. Let's see, maybe I can figure out something tonight.

Sorry Talia, I did not pay attention to that in your last post.   

We could say that Ta'las does have the wrong tree - he has made mistakes before, and right now he is thinking only about Terra.   Perhaps Terra and he could be close enough for you to hear or even see them together, but maybe facing the wrong direction?
