Finally trying to finish her up. I thought I had incorporated the comments Twen had made. Her surname was mentioned in the history.

I thought that because I hit on it so heavily, I didn't think it needed to be repeated, but her main focus is just trying to get some action in bed. That's really all she uses her magic for.

So, in short, I'm asking what should I add to the magic section to make it acceptable?

Myrdda, if you want to stay on the safe side of writing a magic section (Not sure how knowledgeable you are.). Look at the list of Fire Spells there are and find the ones that fit your character and tweak the mechanics into a scenario that fits your character. This trick was done in my magic section, in various spots.

If none of those quite fit your character, wander over to the dev board and look up Mina's Elemental Properties thread (Most of the ones listed for fire are accurate.). Like always a sI using mage can only weaken or strengthen these properties within their own car'all, another person or objects car'all or as an area of effect. Just a few that seem to fit this character are Lust, Anger (Break up relationships with that easy.), heat (Nice for getting that special someone to get nakey.).

Just my 2 sans that I hope helps ya out a bit.

Edit: Also keep in mind whether your mage is influencing the spiritual or physical representations of the element. Although your character seems more inclined towards the spiritual, The heat property and note above would be physical. You are causing them to get physically warm... see how that works?

Thanks for the comments, Adiéllé. I'll have to think about how to put those into the Magic system.

I thought, when I starting writing Myrdda, that I had a good grasp on the magic system, but I guess not. Oh well, you live and you learn.

I think I may also head over the Approved CD archive to see how other mages wrote their Magic systems.

Not really in a hurry to get her done, just wanna get her done, ya know?

I went for simplicity with Phlegah ... which worked well for me, until I tried to do something with her amulet and confused myself.

I haven't read this all the way through, but I'm good with the magic session. Just note that it may take a while to get an object hot enough to burn someone's hands; however, it's definitely doable in the first sphere.

Oh! I'm glad you bumped this up, Myrdda! A wonderful character like this shouldn't get lost in the board.

I don't see any issues with this CD. If you're looking for other reasons, perchance, for Myrdda's being inclined toward fire, it might be apropos to note that Etherus is one of the Fire Gods. It was also recently decided that Etherus should have one of his larger temples in Jernais. 

I'll talk to the other Moderators and see if we can get this approved and out the door!
