Argh, I've generally been a rather unreliable player, haven't I? I unexpectedly ended up being away for most of the summer, hence my recent absence. Apologies again for any inconvenience.

Should I post now, or wait for Koka, so she can answer Eric?

It's not really up to me to answer your question, but I'll do it anway: in general I would say that players should feel free to post and have their character do whatever the character would do in the given situation, as long as it's within roleplaying rules and unless it contradicts some explicit agreement about the direction of the story plot. I, for one, would enjoy reading a post from you!

Hopefully I should be able to post regularly again, now I have more consistent access to a computer.

Oh, and I've really been enjoying Fu's fever dreams and general fits of delirium- lots of great imagery and ideas, powerfully expressed. Has he actually woken up now, or is he still in the cabin, just about to come round?

Okay, I realise that I've been neglecting this story and wouldn't be surprised if everyone has got fed up with me.  My full apologies to all.  The reason is quite simple, I started a new job as a teacher at the start of September and also moved house.  To be honest, it seems as though I was picked up by a tornado when I joined the school and my feet haven't touched solid ground since!  I've neglected just about every area of my life except work, including my family, and still have loads to do!  Anyway, it'll be half-term very soon so I'm hoping to get my head together and catch up with everything not work related over that week.  I've been told that the first half-term as a new teacher is always like this, and that I should have some more free time as the rest of the term progresses.

So, sorry once again, and thank you for your patience!

RL isn't always conducive to fun free time things like santh Good luck with teaching- having a teacher-parent equally prone to bouts of stress and business at crucial points in the year, I think I can sympathise! I'm ready and waiting for when I'm needed in the story again.

I sent a PM to Yurie and Eric to inquire whether life will permit him to pick up Jovloff's Gold again in the near future. I think that the administration also contacted him with the same question. I would really like to continue this story.
