yaaaaaaaaay! nice post Rajard! i needed some big scary monsters - my brain's been inexplicably invaded by baby deer today and it was scaring me, but the monsters have chased them away and it's back to normal - thanks!

@ Jarrox - Oh, you might resist it at first, but after a week of going without food, just bobbing about in that little boat, staring at each other, I'm pretty sure you'd give it a go...no use in you both starving to death, is there?
...bet you wish you'd brought along a fishing line! Though you do have rations, which could be used for bait. If you could improvise a hook and a line then you'd be all set for some sashimi!
Having said that, drinkable water is by far your most important consideration. You might want to figure out a way to get some...

sorry Yurie! lotsa exams buzzing about my head are leaving me a bit knackered this week, but i will try my utmost. @ Ylva and Fionn - I'm sure that people drown in all kinds of situations, not just the sea. I even heard of people drowning in puddles! So, there's no reason why your characters shouldn't have any experience of dealing with it. Feel free to puppet the captain and the half-drowned sailor into the lifeboat, and set to work on them as you see fit! Remember, the sailor has been under water and is currently unconscious. Maybe you need to pucker up for the kiss of life!

Sorry, but I have nothing to post about without someone directly interacting with me. Repeating fragments of other posts as an "Observation" just isn't fun.
Also, two hours of filling in bubbles on a standardized test sheet each day is tiring.
