@ Rhia - If you want to use your imagination to explore the ship, then carry on! If you want to create some minor NPCs on your exploration, then that's fine, too. I'm sure that there's lots of activity going on that would be of interest to your character, though I'm not so sure that she'd be able to find a quiet corner to rest in!

Yurie, would it be okay if I used a drunken sailor, and possibly First Mate U., in my next post? I'm thinking of some further entertainment for the prisoners. But if you've got other plans, of course I won't want to interfere. If the fighters are bored of exercise, maybe they could come and tease us? Your call, Yurie.

Sorry for the the unexpected disappearance , but work is quite literally killing me , its high season for me, since I work in a hotel , time is not a luxury as it was a couple of months before ...

Don't worry, the fighting people haven't posted in a while either. You and Hylph are about to face off with swords, and the two of us will be shooting. @ Fu - I don't mind you using the first-mate and a sailor in your post, but I'd have to ask that nobody is drunk! I envision the ship's crew as being pretty well-disciplined, and not likely to get drunk whilst on duty. Having said that, you could make him drunk if you really want to, but in that case he'l inevitably get a severe punishment from the captain. So feel free to puppet them and give us some entertainment! grin

@ Malavon - As Simonne said, you are just about to spar with Hylphan using blunted cutlasses. Maybe you can PM him to work out how that fight will turn out? I reckon you could both give us a good show!

Mallorix, don't feel compelled to wait for me before posting yourself. I'm unlikely to post before the weekend, because I'm preparing for what promises to be a rather arduous job interview. I can always react to whatever you write.

Unfortunately, I know a thing or two about creative droughts, even though I'm lucky not to suffer from this affliction at the moment, at least not in Santharia. My sympathies. heart

Take it easy, folks! It may feel like winter, but the seeds of new stories are there, waiting for the right moment to sprout. Well, sorry, it's midnight here, and I've worked all day and most of the evening, so my metaphors are probably not at their most original ...

And Malavon, it's great to see you! If I'm lucky, I'll make a trip to Portugal in September. (Hopefully staying with a friend, though, not in a hotel, so as not to create more work for you!)

But seriously, Rhia is not exactly known for her wise planning. Although I'm sure she could enlist Ylva or some other sympathetic person who could come up with a better plan. Anything to mess with Fjorwek, you know. Like writing a mean song about him and then having her and you and Mallorix sing it nonstop, and then get it stuck in his head! Evil! Well, actually, I can see how that wouldn't work. And isn't really as evil as someone like Rhia might think. In fact is really ridiculously dumb. Sorry. Wow. I'm kind of loopy today. hammer
