Sorry for the absence my friends. Final exams, projects, presentations, and papers have been monopolizing my waking hours - which are few. I will try and get caught up and post something tomorrow however, as I only have one class then. Good thing this the last time I have to take 7 classes in a semester!

Sorry that took sooooooo long, I seem to be having reall trouble slipping between earnest, empathetic Fionn and Grallen, who is... not so nice. so if that post is a bit rubbish, I apologise.

Yeah, it's a good post! It brings in some dimensions of your character that haven't played a big part in the story yet, I think.

No problems with your post, Fionn. Maybe by the end of this story your character won't be so kind and understanding!
Anyway, I just posted, too. Hopefully Ylva, Fionn and Rhia have now got something to respond to. My plan is to get the captain over to Fu and Mallorix, so that Mallorix can have something to do whilst Fu is busy.
And it's nice to see that Malavon and Hylphan are getting busy!

@ Rhia - Yes, feel free to add more detail to what the NPCs look like; it makes the story more interesting. And it's nice to see a speedy reply!
I'm sure that Fu will be glad to see that you've decided to join the first-mate; it'll probably be in his best interests to have Rhia around when the captain confronts him...

Okay, Koka, you only lost your aim! Hopefully it'll keep Ylva and Fionn busy! If anybody is wondering what 'Scumble Glass' means, it's just from some rhyming slang that I posted on the development board. It doesn't take much imagination, but 'Scumble Glass' means 'ass'! Or, if you go with a Cockney accent, then 'Glass' would rhyme with 'arse'.
Anyway, I'll post with the captain later so that Rhia has got something to respond to. I believe Fu should be back soon, too, which means we'll be able to go and accost him and Mallorix about flying pipes!

Didn't see an absence thread so here ...
I'll be gone from June 13th until September 15th for a graduation backpackin' trip through Europe. At least I land back in the United States on the 15th, it will probably be a couple days more before I get home, and then I won't know what the situation will be cause my dad is movin' while I'm gone.
I'll be on Santh to check up and when postin' updates, but won't be postin' in stories.

Well, I'm back from my considerably shorter journey, and have caught up with the story. I think I may wait to post until the captain (and maybe Rhia and the First Mate?) approach the prisoners.

Glad that you like Scumble Glass! It's got a nice sound to it, I think. I just adapted 'Bottle and Glass' to a Santharian context, to avoid directly using 'arse'! Personally, I prefer 'Aris', but since Aristotle doesn't exist in Santharia, 'Scumble Glass' will have to do!
