The next chapter will start shortly. In the mean time continue in with this one.

Fools rush into battle blindly, but who is really the fool? The fool or the fool who follows him.

Concerning the travel time-

I checked the map at this link:

www.santharia.com/maps/me...tharia.htm

and the measurement scale on the map doesn't indicate if it is in Stral, League, or Furlay (a personal pet peeve of mine, since most maps are universally miles, if it should be anything else, it should say on the map what).    But whatever it is, the distance can be anywhere from 100 to 150 depending on where the exactly location of Leseris is (originally shown as being a small town west of the Paelelon woods, I imagined it would be directly west, halfway between top and bottom of the woods).

My point in all this being: could we possibly reach Hog in one day's travel by foot? (not even factoring in a lame guy?  Sorry Gashnum, I didn't mean lame as in "weanie".. Heh!  You are way too cool for that!)

Maybe it would be better to name another small town or village that is closer to where we are and where we need to be?

Just an idea...

Also, is there any chance we'll be entering the Heath of Cijur?  I've always wondered what a heath would be like.  ;)
The definition sounds cool enough: An extensive tract of uncultivated open land covered with herbage and low shrubs; a moor.

Sinen:  Additionally, I hope you aren't splitting up the group because Muargath had a little larceny on her mind.

Muargath never did say anything loud enough for anyone but Gashnum and possibly Junas to hear.  (I don't care how good elvish hearing is, they aren't Supermen!)    Since none of the PCs actully tried to read Muargath's mind in their posts (magically or otherwise) this can only be Player's Knowledge being used in the worst way.  I would hate to have to write guardedly because my PC's thoughts are open to all in this type of forum and thus being used unfairly... that is just no fun for me.

Muargath may be a bit gruff, but she doesn't have THIEF tatooed on her forehead!

If this is going to be the case, if this is the way the game will be run, then let me know and I will graciously bow out of the storyline.  Not grumping here... just being practical.

No, I'm not splitting up the group really. What I'm doing is having myself and two more that can stand to travel on to go ahead to the sages do to certain urgent matters. Leave that as it is for now it is part of the story. When Sinen says you could reach hog in a day he is forgetting that the rest of the group is not just him and certain other factors exist as well. Don't worry how long it really takes you because Sinen and his little party may very well take longer than expected at the sage's and It would prove interesting in a story kinda sense if we got to the town first.

"Thank you," he said sweetly while smiling.   !?!  WTF?  :lol

I'm starting to think that Junas is gay.  Either that, or his writer is used to running chicks.  :lol

I think he loves you for giving him my wine ;)

Viresse: I think we should keep this conversation down to two posts each so the morning can come and the sleepers can wake up.

Meantime, if you are looking for a lot of info, pile it on.  :D
I kept her up just so you could pry her and then I plan on having Muargath fall asleep at the end of my second post. (just to clarify- you post, then me, then you, and lastly me)

We can always speak more on the trek, as long as we are still on speaking terms, that is.  ;)

Gashnum:  If if gets really cold out this night, don't be surprised if you wake up to find Muargath snuggled with you and Duster.  :lol
