I definitely spend too much time on the puter..

Where I sit, I have my TV off to my left, which I keep on in order for background music, or the odd tv show (hockey game)... now, usually, the TV is only in my peripheral vision, as my attention is on the puter.

Every now and again, there are commercials which play that use op up puter style warning windows to make their points.. and each time they do.. my blood freezes, and I turn quickly to see what the problem is.. and it takes me a second to realize the TV is not the puter and is not being attacked by a virus.

Edit:  As I wrote this and was posting, as if to emphasize, an ad for GoToMeeting.com came on and did the same thing with a pop up download menu.  ugh

Don't feel out of the loop around here Altario, I have a TV too but it usually functions as my comp screen. Just so I can be lazy and sit on my bed while typing. crazy

Yeah my dad does that ... Its ridiculous cause he got a 36inch TV for his room, than go another one on sale and was gonna sell the first one, ended up puttin' them both up and has one for his TV and one for his computer. *Has come to the conclusion that bartenders are odd* ... At least I got his old flatscreen monitor.

Before you kill him, think of what you take from him. Remember what it is to be alive.

having too many different 'lectric things on at a time makes me feel weird. on the other hand, i'm perfectly capable of having thirteen different notebooks, sketchbooks etc. all open on a desk simultaneously and scribbling in them randomly. and i doodle on my jeans whilst typing. very short attention span, really.

you are a smartass in way too many topics, but none would pay you for knowing this kind of stuff. The world is so unfair when you detailed knowledge of Greek ancient history is not appreciated! *sob*

I definately know I'm a nerd... *laugh*

I'm in year ten, taking a year eleven subject where the students in that class are two years older than I am, and have half of the subject knowledge and capability.
It gets very odd when you get top marks on an essay and the 'brightest spark' in year eleven has spelling mistakes...

I study WAY too much

Simply put, you know your a nerd when you do IB. I keep Gandalf's words in my mind thoughout, 'you shall not pass'. buck

And on the TV and computer thing, I love having both on. Scrubs goes great with anything on the computer.

When you surprise guys who know you, by happily joining in their nerdy discussions and revealling that your knowledge of [insert nerdy topic] outstrips theirs, even though by their logic it shoudn't cause you have breasts and are able to function in society....
