Oh, Orly, you may have missed this post by Talia in the flurry of new OOC posts in the last day...

Especially that answer of Dru has impressed me. I thought she would now relax, but no, she was offended! That was a great move and true to her char, I think.


I encountered a problem with Orly's post. He is a bit early. The gang has not yet be alerted, Mido was not here yet and so they do not know, that they will be hired for a job. Nor is Lori really involved. I don't think, Kaltaara and her supporters would agree, if it was for Lori. They get payed, that's why they look for Lili.

Garret, Damien, you need to play the children for now, do the bargaining with Mido or Kaltaara. You can choose, which one of the kids you would prefer. Mido would do something for Lori, Kaltaara and most of the gang not. Money!!!

I don't think, we would hire  kids to rescue Lili, but to look out for her and find her. But they could decide on their own, that a bit of trouble making might be fun.  

Don't destroy your posts, but we might need a post inserted before yours from one of our Tavern sitters (hint)

@Watcher/Tharoc: Sure you want to be left alone again?

I'm not sure when Garret will get a chance to talk to Alt, since he seems adamant about him and Dru going to see the crimelord first before talking to the rest of the group. Considering posting speeds, that could be a couple of weeks.

Meh, he's used to being on his own. I know what you mean though. He's just got out of the slammer and now he's been dumped in some random boozer, and he doesn't even drink!

As for Garret/Alt, I have every confidence thay'll figure something out. I'll just bum around the dock area until I'm sent for. There must be any amount of trouble I can cause down there!

If you're bumming around the dock area, couldn't you get involved with the rescue party in some way?

I must confess that I've not read that far as yet.

I'm still trawling my way through Part 2 trying to catch up on everything.

Thar won't be back until at least after the Awards ceremony anyway, so I've got time.

Maybe you'd like something to be whittled, Mr Watcher? A statue of an orc with its head chopped off, perhaps? Maybe Orly and Tharoc could join up and hit the high life around Strata or something ... Strata does have a high life, doesn't it? <G>

Oops ... Yes, I did miss that one. Sorry ... I was wondering about some of that stuff as well ... and when I looked back through the OOC posts, I didn't check well enough. I'll fix that up. But first, I've got to try to sleep

Hhhmm. A hobbit, you say? Well, Tharoc is very fond of Rookie the brownie.

I suppose he could happen upon the rescue attempt and, being the chap he is, he'd feel obliged to help. Whether he helps the right side or not remains to be seen.

When you get caught up, Thar, you might find that the docks is the best place for you to be.  Helping with Lili's rescue is the sort of thing that will force Alt to accept you (though grudgingly)

Talia I hope that whatever I do with Kaltoora will not offend you. I will try and keep as close to the character as you have described in your posts. Post will come up tomorrow...promise.

I was not feeling well yesterday and not doing the best today, but Santharia calls and I answer. I wonder if that would happen when I finally die?

I will give Mido to Garret.

I am confused. Do the children know the name of the person they are going to look for? Do they know that she is on a ship? How do they know? I thought the boy Ana talked to at the Seashoals was just supposed to bring the leader there to talk and haggle about helping Lori, though I know that some of the kids would do it without money being exchanged.

I may be wrong...I am going to reread Ana's post in the Seashoals.

Ok, I reread Ana's post and she sent Kero to gather the kids together. The kids do not know why they are being gathered except to help Lori in something until Kero tells them. When Kero tells them, then I am going to assume that Kaltoora (who is the head of this gang of kids) will not do it unless they get paid. On the other hand Mido, Lori's friend, will do it for nothing as will some of the other children, however they are scared of Kaltorra and Kaltorra and Mido have some heated discussion, after which somehow Kero and Kaltoora meet Damien (whether in the Seashoals, or stumble upon each other in the harbour area) Damien agrees to pay Kaltoora and that is when the kids spread out all over the harbour area and secretly search ships, and finally find the one that Lili is on. They then go and find Damien and Garret who have by now found Tharoc who has agreed to help them rescue Lili and tell them all on what ship Lili is being held captive.

Kaltoora takes the money and some of the kids with her, while those loyal to Mido and Lori go help the rescuers as well.

Is this a good timeline? or summarization of what is going to happen? If so then Orly, I am afraid you will have to edit your post just a little. You will just have to edit the parts where you speak of helping Lori finding somone or a ship. All the kids know is that Lori needs help until Kero tells them and Kero has not arrived yet.

If no one objects I will play Kero and Kaltorra after Orly edits his post.

I doubt it, Talia. I just reread Lori's post when she meets up with Kaltoora and it was a great post. But I will try and do what I can.

I just want to know if I got everything right? Before I continue that is. It would seem from Talia's post that she did not see anything wrong or amiss so I will just wait for Orly to edit his post and then continue on.


In the meantime I have to get ready for the awards ceremony...never know if there is a lonely lady wanting some companionship with a handsome, slightly scarred, rogue like myself.
