Also, I wonder whether we need a plan. Realistically, the rescue party still have no chance against the crew of pirates. Altario and Dru, do you want to be drawn in? Kassandra has just shouted a phrase that Altario may remember from Chapter 1, Part Two (Reply #106)... Up to you!

One more question: are we puppeting Damien for the time being? I hope he'll be better soon!

Well, if we're absolutely needed, I'm sure we can manage it. I did suggest to Alt to bring us out by the docks just in-case. We had already planned on heading back to the inn but if the rescue party feels they'd rather have us come to help... /shrug

I think it'd take more than just Kassandra singing a rather hard-to-remember line though. Maybe flying off and chancing upon them? I dunno.

No, no, don't worry. You evidently had other plans for the evening. You two go and enjoy a nice cosy night together in your inn, while we others risk life and limb on a pirate ship. 

But I do think we need a plan. If I was Eric, I would wonder how the rescue party expect to wrestle even so much as a mouse from my two dozen bloodthirsty pirates.

As a non-moderator, it's sometimes difficult to make plans beyond a post or three, because one doesn't want to cross any secret plans. (And the secret plans are the salt of the story! I loved how Toama suddenly appeared!) But if I'm right in thinking that there is no further plan, then could I allow myself to develop a few ideas about how to get everyone who doesn't belong there off the ship? (And how some of us may even survive the experience!)

In case that's okay: Shall I discuss ideas in this thread, or would people rather be surprised? In the latter case, I'd write a PM to Eric.

In any case, before anything decisive happens, I think we should give Toama a chance to get her chains off, and decide whether she wants to join the party on deck. It's not as if we couldn't use the help ...

Lili, I was just talking to Alt about this and we're fine with helping you if you guys need. However before I post we'd need something more from Kassandra than just the shout. We were thinking that if she could possibly fly over to us, maybe recognize Alt (or note Dru's rather tall height makes for good perching ) and then say something up close to them that would tip Alt off.

If you want to do that, then could you either edit your post or post a brief second post with just Kass before I write mine?

You drop a half dead bird at the feet of two of the stories most unsympathetic characters??  Altario would be as apt to eat the darned thing as anything else.  As for Dru... Who knows.

Hey, at least Dru's seen Gossiper birds before, being from Nybelmar. That being said, yeah, she'd sooner just leave it on the ground to die. So hope Altario recognized it at least, lol.

I have been reading the posts and Lili you did just fine with Damien, except he probably would have talked more.

Welcome Toamoa to Destiny. I absolutely admired your post and the interaction between you and Orly is priceless.

Kassandra...you're a hoot!

Alt and Dru, you two just continue to amaze me as to how both of your characters are slowly trusting each other, yet each have their own agenda.

Is Thar still sick? I miss his humor.

Eric, you are doing a fantastic job as a captain of a pirate ship, turned into slave ship, though it was not of your choice and now fighting a small green female orc, who is more trouble than thousands of African bees let loose, and now that Lili is in her right mind, with a cutlass in hand, and of course Garret and Shadowfoot and Damien: I do not envy you one bit.

I have been curious about escape plan and I thought why not just jump overboard once everyone is above deck that is.  With fish flying, cutlasses, knives and axes swinging, and when Orly and Toamoa appear surely that would be enough distraction for the men to cause enough distraction to at least throw one or two of the ladies overboard.

Or we could have a comedic post where as Damien is fighting, his elbow accidently hits Lili and she falls overboard. Orly and Toamoa slip and slide on the bloody and fish gut deck knocking over a few sailors and then falling overboard themselves. Oh you get the picture I am sure. However I am also sure that Alt and the mods are discussing the escape plan even as I write this, so these are just ideas of mine, nothing that should or would disrupt their plans.
