That's really helpful, thankyou twigga and caol. You should post that diagram somewhere more accsesible in the sticky topics, so any new players can get their bearings. I like being able to visualise things. I mean, when reading lord of the rings I kept flicking back and re-reading tolkein's descriptive passages so I could visualise perfectly whether the river was on there left or right and what direction they were travelling in, etc. etc.    Roll Eyes
You can have the crayons dek, as long as you draw us some lovely kyrattin cattle  :D
That being said, Jenna's not going to appreciate being mistaken for a child, as she's technically the oldest PC here!  grin (though if you're being pedantic, Salkazrian and Eyimon are the oldest by maturity as Jenna is, by hobbit standards, in her twenties buck)

Oh, and Alexandre and Galthas(53 and 120 respectively) are older than me too... sorry about my mistake, everyone, I was feeling rather tired and not entirely functional last night, and so was jumping to assumptions and not making very much sense  :P

Also: oh, the tension is building very nicely  grin This story is so intriguing!

Before someone decides to get uppity (the nobles in particular), members of the Santhran's Orders (White Knights, the Order of the Fallen and the Paladins of Armeros among others) rank above landed nobles and thanes, being essentially the "Long arm of the law" among other things. They are listed third, after the Santhran and the Council of Linked Hands in the hierarchy here, which I assume has some significance: [source]

It's a shame I wrote Eyimon the way he is. He could be throwing around authority like a flail.

Terribly, terribly sorry for the lack of posting everyone. I've been away for a week(in a muddy wood with twenty odd girl guides, no less) and foolishly, knowing I was busy, left my IC post and my absence notification till the last minute and had no time to actually post them.
So hello again, everyone, especially to the newcomers! Now to incorporate everything that has happened into my post...

It's great to be back, Twigga hug I'm having an indecently good time with this story.
I should also probably mention that being a hobbit, and a rather forward hobbit at that, Jenna is still fairly naive about the workings of big folk society, so doesn't see Eyimon as a figure of much authority, hence her rather disrespectful attitude in the last post. :D

Ah, the more I rp as her, the more psychologically complex Jenna becomes  buck It's high time I dug her cd out of the archives and tweaked it here and there. I'm planning on adding that she's missing a chunk of hand and most of her little finger on her left, scarred arm, in case anyone wants to mention it in the story.

And finally- I've just realised both versions of the seating plan have vanished from photobucket, Twigga  cry Or did you deliberately remove them now it's posted on the NPC thread?
EDIT: having just seen Grom's post and taking a look through everyone's CDs, I realise he's missing a little finger as well! I didn't mean to copy, Grom- but the idea must have subconsciously lodged in my brain when I took a look at your cd a while back Shocked

I was actually organizing my photo album and moved the map to a different folder, which changed the address, and since it's now in the stickied thread for easier access, I just didn't bother to fix it in the OOC. :) Sorry if there was any confusion.

I'll be in the Philippines for the next couple of weeks, so probably won't be able to post much.  I'll try to get a reply done soon, though, so that I don't hold things up!   :)

Oh, and just one small quibble, Jenna; Salk hasn't drawn her sword!   ;)

I'm enjoying this story, too; it's great to have an opportunity to role play with this character, and to interact with everybody.   :D
