Death's Invitation OOC: Chapter One

*waves at everyone* Hullo, all! This is my first story ever and I'm extremely excited about it. I get enthusiastic about things pretty easily    for Caol/Morden for putting together such an intriguing storyline. It's like reading an excellent novel, I can't wait to see what happens next...

Eyimon+Salkazrian, or indeed Salkazrian+any male= strange but brilliant and very entertaining. We're getting a great mix of characters on this story, I think. It's going to make for some interesting dynamics 

@Grial- Poor English? Don't put yourself down, you seem very fluent to me and you've got across what you want to say perfectly  Besides, now I can write into my next post that I didn't think Lyra could possibley be with you and be all shocked.

@ Eyimon - I was having a read of your CD and noticed something.  In the appearance section, it says that the left eye is missing, but in the weaknesses section it's the right one!   

I mentioned in my post that it was the left one that's missing; just let me know if you want me to change it.

Jenna, up to you as to how well Jenna and Dek got to know each other at the Kann. I hope I left it open enough for you to respond as you wish ... if not, I'll modify that post.

Hmm, I'm a little confused about who's sitting where!  

I thought that Godwin and his wife were sitting next to Toama, and I kind of assumed that they were all on a different table to Salkazrian and Eyimon.  Just because Twigga mentioned that Godwin sat next to a dark-haired, sun-tanned young lady.  Salk has got light coloured hair and is only slightly tanned.

Still, I can adapt things in my next post if need be.  Though I'll also probably be having a word with Grial!  

So, just for clarity's sake, could one of the mods post here in the OOC who's where?

I know I'm a pain, but it'd be much appreciated!  Thanks!

Salkazrian= Ah, you never fail to make me chuckle. It's nice to see a santharian with a bawdy sense of humour. Just don't tell Eyimon what's been going through your head... or HIS head might explode   Grial better watch out!

@Dek(can I call you that? )   I was going to ask you if you thought we should play that we remember each other from the Kann myself   I think they'd be moderately acquainted- not the best of friends, but still fairly friendly, if that's okay.

@Caol  This is probably a pretty stupid question, but we're allowed to start talking to the NPCs at our table, right? (In my case Myrach)

Oh, and everyone, feel free to initially mistake me for a boy  Or not, if you don't want to. Either way, it spices up the story a little, as Kolos has but Grial hasn't.

Salkazrian: there's this bit, which would suggest that I am at the same table as both the two of you and sir Godwin.

"Greetings, lovely one! That is an excellent choice of color, very fitting of you. I'm sure the dear lord Johannes would have been delighted to see you. Please, come this way, if you would," with that he led the women to the table where the White Knight and one-armed soldier already sat. They appeared to be conversing lightly between themselves, so far ignoring the nobleman Godwin and his wife.

Does that help? Note that in my previous post, I didn't actually say at which table I was seated, as I wanted to leave the moderator the option to seat me

OK, I have sorted through my own posts to clear the confusion (which probably resulted from the fact that I have long posts which would make it all too easy to miss details like this).

There are three tables at which I am sitting players:

Group 1
NPCs - Godwin and Estrilda
Eyimon
Salkrazian
Taoma

Group 2
NPCs - Terric and Aldred
Scriabin
Twigga

Group 3
NPCs - Myrach and Waleran (Myrach's servant)
Grial
Jenna
Dek

There should be a pic soon so that you can get an idea of where each table is, but for now assume they are close to each other, but with an intervening table or two in between them. Also the tables are rectangular, running the length of the room, and if you looked at them from the doorway, they would lengthwise down the room. Hope that all makes senses and is helpful. If not, or if I missed anybody, don't hesitate to tell me.

So ... with Jenna, Grial's ward and myself all at this table, and with Grial, Myrach and Waleran there to make sure we don't do anything 'wrong' does that mean that this is the Santharian equivalent of the kiddies table at family gatherings? If so, I bags the crayons and get to tell the knock-knock joke!

Thanks for the map, Twigga. Just two things I can see ...

1) Waleron, the servant should be at table 3 (I don't think he's anywhere at the moment.)
2) Grial's ward should be given a chair as well, perhaps?

Waleran, as Myrach's personal servant/jester, is lurking behind his master's chair, being too lowly to be honored with a chair. We are, after all, talking about Myrach.

Good point about Grial. I'll fix that as soon as I can.

Okay, things are much clearer now, thank you!  The map helped a lot!  Seems I got confused, but there's nothing unusual about that!
