Terra could after a fashion. She could associate a spoken word with it's written counterpart within a context the spoken word was given, say the name of an inn or street sign, and even though the spoken word has meaning to her she could not retain that meaning of the written word, or would recognise that word within a separate context. Many of these these functions were port of her mind that had been torn apart. Though it is possible it could slowly return now that the brownies have healed her mind, perhaps she can associate a few scattered words with meaning at first, if that should manifest at all it may or may not in the trip(s) to the library.

Talia and others when do you want Capher to reappear? After Ta'las and Terra go to the library or before? And do not forget about Roosjie. Perhaps, she can read Tharian, or maybe a clue could be in an old brownin scroll, written by the father of all of the brownies, I forget his name at the moment, but that could be used as an idea.

Or bring Talia along or both and some old Shendar scroll gives a clue to look for the brownin scroll and there you find a small clue to go see the Zhirghurim dwarves.

These are just ideas of course...ooops forgot to change, sorry. This is Capher in case no one knew.

Well, Capher, you could join us at breakfast, but then you have been only for one night in the academy and near/above the orb.
I don't see, where the problem with the Zirgurhim lies, we do know, that we have to go there, the dwarves we have met told us to go there to get more information. The library is just another chance to find something.

Could be a nice episode, Terra and Ta'las going there , only to find out, that both cannot read!
I don't know by heart, if Roosje can read, would have to look it up. Talia knows how to read, for she is working for the compendium ;)

I do believe I have replied already unless you have sent a new one. As for Capher returning to the group, I do have to agree with Talia. Maybe Capher can not be "Healed" all at once by the orb, but in stages much like what Talia and Terra went through. Only as Caphers weakness is more physical then spiritual he is allowed to return to us after stage, but must return each night for another stage of healing.
