I say let's finish this story. We are so close to the climax of the story it would be a shame to close it down now. I will be glad to do whatever it takes to help finish this story.

Since the predominate amount of respondants have asked for FD to stay running, I invite my dedicated Mods, whom I must thank for their continued support over the years, to the bat cave, where we can plan our resurgence.

Uhm... Batman references due in large part because I'm wearing my Batman Underoos.  I feel so... heroic in them.  :P

I have done much contimplation as of late, and have decided that I'm going to close FD.  The resurgence has not gone very well.  I have had problems keeping mods, so it is best that we just shut it down.  I place no blame on anyone, it is just how life goes and is the nature of RPGs.  Every story has its highs and its lows.  When FD was on a high, it was very high.  And now, in its low, I think it classier to bring it to an end that to let it suffer and die slowly.

I want to thank my mods, both past and present, who made this a great story to be in.  It had a fine run, was very popular for a long time, and I am proud of what was accomplished.  Thank you as well to all the players who contributed over the years.  There were some great posts over the years, Nelique and Altario's verbal sparring, Khel's portrayal of the eyelien merchant and her wonderful NPC work, Ghun bringing in the action, Garret's work as a mod and behind the scenes efforts, and many many more that would simply take too many pages to list.  Thank you. :)

What I will be doing is reformatting the story and coming back with the final chapter, so that loose ends can be tied up.  This last chapter will be much smaller in scope, will be linear not sandbox, and will provide the grande finale to the story.  I would rather this than just to let it fade out with no resolution.  Being smaller and more focused, I will be in a position to mod it alone if need be.  The final chapter will be more action and less soap opera.  But, the characters in this story and the NPCs created deserve to have their fates explored.  It will be a single thread story so easier to follow.  It will be limited in length, and will not have the option of going on forever.  It will have a climax and a conclusion.

     Hello, I have been away from Santharia for a VERY long time, as I have the worst luck with computers of anyone I know. My last laptop was broken and I am just now getting another. I would very much like to rejoin Santharia, and this story in particular. Also, this was the only topic that it would let me post in, so I don't know if the right people will see this. I have already caught up on what is going on in the area where my character is currently located, and was wondering if it would be okay for me to rejoin the story when it would be appropriate for my character to do so.
