I kind of figured that the Ivory Coast was going to do a good job. Did anyone happen to see the match, and can anyone tell me whether they think the Coast can make it past the beginning rounds ..

Not a bad defence at all by North Korea [or the Democratic People's Republic, whatever you like  grin] for the first half that is. Hmmmm, they needed to draw that, I can't see them lasting long against Ivory Coast or Portugal.

I didn't see the Cote d'Ivoire match, but hopefully I'll get to see them play Brazil on Sunday.  I still reckon Ghana is the African team to watch.  I'm so confident about it, I might put a bet on them to win the tournament!   :P  It's a long-shot, but you never know!

The Netherlands would probably be a more sensible option.  I might put money on them both.  But I certainly won't put any money on England.  I just watched them play Algeria and wasn't too impressed.  Not sure what's happened to the England team this time round, but it's not good.   :(

Oh, well, at least Germany lost a game; that always cheers me up!  Well done, Serbia!   :)

Well, as predicted, the Netherlands are doing well.  Can't wait to watch the Ghana vs. Uruguay game tonight!   :)
