Galein walked out of the kitchen and looked around the tavern. It was emptier now than anytime in the last few months. There was just a few dwarves scattered around the tables all enjoying a breakfast. She knew that there were a few of their usual guests upstairs, still sleeping, and wouldn't expect them to be down for awhile.
Gadaser was in the kitchen still, laboring away at preparing the meals for the day. Galein knew her sister well and wasn't expecting her sister to leave the kitchen for another hour or two, after she had finished all the preparations. Gapad had gone into town at sunrise to buy ingredients that they were running short on, and should be back anytime now.
Galein sighed to herself, then began to walk around from table to table, straightening chairs, and wiping the table clean. She had already done this the night before, but she had nothing else to do until Gapad got back with the ingredients. Then they would need to be put away and, hopefully, would then be taken down soon after to help prepare meals for hungry guests.
Hragnúr
Hragnúr woke up to the smell of freshly baked bread. She smiled and sat up in bed. She woke to this smell every morning, and never got tired of it. It was a lot better to wake up to fresh bread, than to her mother's screams and rants. Since she and her mother moved into the Kann, Jynée has calmed down significantly. Where she used to rant all day, she now only does so every once in awhile.
Hragnúr got out of bed and put on fresh clothes. She left her apron laying on the chair, since she wasn't gonna start working quite yet. She then walked down the stairs and nodded a good morning to Galein, and walked into the kitchen and sleepily did the same for Gadaser. Gadaser nodded back then pushed a tray with a few piece of bread and jam on it to Hragnúr. This was her mother's morning meal. Hopefully this time it wouldn't displease her mother.
She took the tray upstairs to her mother's room, and softly walked across the floor and set the tray down beside the bed. Her mother was still asleep and was as peaceful as she had been in a long time. Hragnúr took a piece of bread and spread jam onto it. She sat down at the table in the room and ate, thinking about her mother and how she used to be before Hragnúr's father died.

Avásh walks in, the second Inn he has been in in all of his life. But he needed to get out into the world; to travel. He finds himself at peace here, looking about quite wildly before taking a seat at an empty table.
He sat down looking out among the cheery-eyed peoples. This had been the first time he had ever seen so many dwarves in one place! He stood there and just chuckled to himself. He laughed so loudly, in fact, that one costumer looked over at him and gave him the 'stink eye.' After that he quieted down some.
Then, muttering to himself in Styrash, he said, "
So many plants and places to go! I doubt I'll ever have a chance to go all around the world in a few mere years! Not with so many interesting people.
"
Then, from within his pack he pulled out a plant and went over to see someone about getting water for this poor dying plant; and so he did, straight to the bar.

Klyff came in briskly through the door and sat down on one of the tables. Scanning the room, he noticed there was hardly any people drinking in the tavern. It was morning, maybe not everyone was up. He glanced at a dwarf who was sitting in a corner by himself drinking, to another who was talking merrily with a friend, and then to a man, up and looking around, with a small plant in his hands.
An interesting character Klyff thought, the oddest one in this room. Inadvertently, Klyff took out his cards and started shuffling them, the loud thapping noise upsetting the ominous quiet of the room. After a minute or two, Klyff noticed, and stopped, and the room went back to its silence. He put the cards in his pouch and got up seeking a drink to the bar.
Accidentaly, he bumped into the man with the plant, not hard but enough.
Sorry.
he said quickly, and went on to find someone to provide him with something.

The sun had been up for a while, Aster hadn't slept a wink. So he had been walking for a long time, his feet hurt, his stomach had been talking to him since the sun came up, and he was sure he needed some food. He called out to Tiffan to get her to a bit faster, and now Aster, sitting on top of Hero, was moving at a steady trot.
"Arfff"
Tiffan called out to him as she had been trained to do when there was a bar near where they were standing. Aster became excited
"FOOOD!!"
he squawked kicking much harder than he had planned into Hero's sides.
Aster opened the door
"I hope that stable boy puts Hero somewhere nice, I must check... after breakfast"
he noticed something, it was so quiet for a tavern, only a few whispers, he then heard a bump and a very small commotion, where a few quick apologies, and then Aster tuned out, he had walked into a table, a table made for a Dwarf!!

Galein watched as an elf walked into the tavern and sat at a table. She saw him laugh to himself a little, and then mutter something to himself.
'This elf better have manners.'
Galein thought to herself. There had been a few elves in the past that had no manners at all and thought they could speak down to dwarves. These kind of people, whether they were elves or not, annoyed Galein quite a lot. Though she would never let them know. Not when they had coins in their pocket, ready to be spent.
Galein finished wiping the table off and walked toward the bar to put the rag away. On her way, another elf walked into the tavern and sat down. This elf also seemed to be a bit arrogant, he pulled out a deck of cards and began to shuffle them loudly. The noise was loud enough that Galein's ears rung slightly.
'Another disrespectful elf!'
Galein yelled in her head. Thankfully, the elf stopped with the noise and everything was quiet again. Both elves got up and started walking toward the bar. One had a plant in his hand, which looked completely foreign to Galein.
'Wherever did he find a plant like that?'
she wondered to herself. The two elves collided on their way to the bar, and Galein heard a mumbling of apologies.
As she looked past the elves, she saw another dwarf walk into the tavern quite quickly, talking to himself. This dwarf sat at a dwarven table and seemed quiet astonished to see one.
'Must have been away for a long time'
Galein thought. She made a note of this in her head then turned back to both the elves.
"Can i help either of you?"
she said in the most pleasant voice she could muster.

Klyff regained his balance from the collision and continued on to the bar as a dwarf woman asked if she could help him. Excellent, he thought, someone to give him a drink. He came up to the bar.
Yes, I haven't been here before. What are the drinks you serve here?

"Yes, I haven't been here before. What are the drinks you serve here?"
the elf asked.
"Well, if you are in the mood for something alcoholic, we have Apple Ale, Dwarven Ale, and a Shorr Brew. The last one was made by our in-house brewer, and is weak enough for non-dwarves."
Galein replied to the elf with a chuckle.
"If you don't want anything like that this early in the morning, we have water, Hearthberry Juice, and if you want a surprise, i can go and squeeze some extra fruit we have and make you a fresh juice mixture. Any of that suit your fancy?"
Galein gave the elf a smile, and grabbed a clean glass to put his choice into.

Water's fine for me... can you boil it for me? I'm thinking of tea that I brought with me and I'm just dying to try it!
" Mentioned Avásh.

"Water's fine for me... can you boil it for me? I'm thinking of tea that I brought with me and I'm just dying to try it!"
said the slightly shorter elf. Galein smiled and said,
"Sure thing! Let me go get that while this man thinks."
She walked back into the kitchen and put a small pot of water over the fire. She turned to her sister and told her about the newcomers while waiting for the water to boil. In a few moments the roaring fire had the water boiling, and Galein poured the water into a clay pitcher. She then took the pitcher out to the elf and handed it to him, along with a glass.
"There you go! First water is free of charge."
Galein said.
She gave the elf a quick smile before turning back to the other man,
"And what have you decided you would like?"

Klyff looked back from the elf before replying.
Ill just take some water too, if you don't mind. I might try some of that juice later, though. It sounds good.

the elf said. Galein poured a pitcher of water for him and handed him it along with a glass.
"There you go, enjoy!"
Galein said.
She then looked around to make sure there was no one else needing help. When she saw no one else needing anything, she grabbed 2 glasses of Hearthberry Juice and walked over to the newly arrived dwarf. She sat down across the table from him and gave him one of the glasses. Galein then asked,
"?Fer Khor Kul Koafer Uhn Gorph Kavonerons?"
("Where and when did you begin travels?")

Avásh took his tea leaves from his bag and placed some in his cup, hoping that he could try to listen in on the conversation, although he had almost no idea what they were even talking about! He continued listening anyway, hoping that he could make some sense of it soon.

Aster was startled
"Is somebody sitting at my table?"
he reached his left hand out and found the soft head of Tiffan his guide dog. He was stroking her head wondering just what to do about this new comer, when he smelt something fantastic, he reached out his hand and found the cup then he realised what the smell was, Hearthberry Juice so that's what it was. He took a tentative sip, when his table buddy spoke to him
"Where and when did you begin travels?"
was she speaking Thergerim? Aster decided then and there she must be trust worthy she's a dwarf
"I started in Nybelmar a very long time ago. How did you end up here?
Aster asked in Thergerim. As an after thought he wondered just what she looked like?

It wasn't until the dwarf started petting the dog next to him, that Galein saw it. The dog seemed to be well trained and was just looking around the room as the dwarf scratched her head. He then reached out, some what hesitantly, for the drink. Galein looked at the dwarf's eyes and noticed he wasn't searching around the room too, and they looked glassy.
"I started in Nybelmar a very long time ago. How did you end up here?"
the dwarf said. He still wasn't making eye contact with Galein and she was beginning to wonder why. She wasn't about to say anything though, as this might anger the dwarf. She answered,
".Fer Oe Artakyeh PriTyr Donian. .Fer Huhutol Wirrel Kann Kumruhnt Kul Kagoz Pra Huttol. .Fer Huttol Kagoz Pra Galein."
("I was born in Tyr Donian. Grandmother made Kann Kumruhnt and gave to mother. Mother gave to Galein")

"So your name is Galein is it?" Mine is Aster, and this by my side is my eyes and nanny, named Tiffan."
He sat quietly for a moment, listening to the tavern, he wondered if he should play a tune, but descided against it, its far too early in the morning for that. He reached out for Tiffan and tapped her head and muttered
"explore"
which simpley meant that she would learn the ins and outs of the entire tavern, just made is so much easier to show him around later. He then took a large gulp of his juice
"this is good by the way"
