Dark Elf, Eophyrhim

« on: January 04, 2012, 02:22:07 AM »

So my planned character is a 305-year-old Eophyrhim Dark Elf who was exiled due to his controversial political standpoints. He advocated for the expansion of the Eophyrhim and for them to take a larger part in Santharian trade so that they could rise to the rightful place as Nobles. He was sabotaged by a rival elf and exiled (his exile was special- he was to return during the Arvins Festival of 1692 a.S. and demonstrate his knowledge of the world. From there, the Eophyrhim would decide if they needed to expand (and let Remis back in) or permanently get rid of him).

Anywho, his travels have taken him to the Shaded Forest and his plan is to reach Carbrand- a port that will hopefully grant him passage to Cyhalloi so that he may seek out the Kasumarii tribe and be educated under their wing. In order to get to Carbrand, his path seems to almost directly cross over the ruins of F'v'cl'r. I was wondering if he would be able to encounter the Mh'rhm, or should just pass through the ruins with no incidents?

It sounds like an interesting history! I look forward to reading it.

With regards to your inquiry: it may be difficult to get close enough to encounter the Mh'rhm. Keep in mind that the Ruins of F'v'cl'r are quite toxic:

Quote
The Water Marshes are well-documented to be constantly brimming with a sulfurous fog that comes from the numerous bogs that fills the area. Within a few days in such a place, a human would quickly perish. But in their shadow-forms, the Mh'rhm seem not to mind the lethal and vemonous air around them.

It might be easier and more salubrious to avoid the Water Marshes entirely.
