I'm just curious, if you want to leave a RPG story for another, how do you do it?

You politely post that you are backing out of a story, perhaps a Farewell post to get your character out, then apply to the new story.  Or vice versa if you want to be safe and sure that you get accepted into the new story first.

Alright thank you very much! I was just curious so when I have enough experience with the RPGing bords I can go into something that takes a little more experience. But right now I'm just in the Thirsty Herald to get myself started.

The stories are open for all players. These are just guidelines that the Moderators might want certain experience for their stories. You can always apply to any story. No guarantee of acceptance, but you can apply. They are not hard and fast rules.


Also, you can play in more than one story at a time. All we ask is that you honestly assess your free time, so that you don't start 5 stories then fail to properly keep up your posting in them.

Oh so you don't have to just stay in one place, you can technically by in "five places at once?"

Each story is considered a different timeline/reality in Santharia, independent of each other. Even stories that happen to take place are not bound to acknowledge each other. So, yes, you can be in 5 places at once.

It is up to you, and your own personal preference if you wish to connect them with your character.  Altario, for example, I created to have a story arc where every story he has been in takes place in his lifetime and are connected. His friend Damien, who he met while playing in the Volder storyline, is now an old friend that he has teamed up with again in Destiny. They share a history.

Not everyone does this, and you can choose to or not to. You can meet the same people for the first time in two different stories. What happened in one story never happened in the next story.

The only thing we keep a constant is death. If you die, your dead.  ( Though, in truth, I'm not sure why that is. I'm sure there are many who would love to do a good death scene)

Haha well the role playing I know, Dungeons and Dragons, death is no joke either, unless of course you have enough gold for a ressurection or something  .
But that's awesome I may join another story then just to get good at this whole RPG stuff.
I'm also thinking about making another CD. It's going to be for Quáel's old friend Cull. But I'm might wait just a little longer on that, after all I just started posting on the RPG bords.
