Roy the mage who has lived his life in darkness, slowly garnering power to rival his unholy foes, has finally made his play. Having becoming an accomplished Ecua mage he needs but one more thing to achieve his dreams, a way of subduing demons. But what such power exists in the world that could rival being beyond the reckoning of mankind?

There is one power that can compete...a fabled item of powerful enchant. That reflects the magical abilities of the weilder's opponent back to them. Is it truth or but rumor? One will only know if this tale unfolds in full. With this artifact the dark mage intends to subue the demon lord who cursed him into humuliating service. But will it end there? For many have scorned him along his path, and his fury only grows with each passing day....

So my idea is this, for whatever reason your characters would be involved in Roy's attempts to get this relic (which does exist on site actually), this could be either to help or hinder him. I'd like to see this come out in full however, and have Roy achieve the rod, and become embroiled with a demon. That doesn't have to happen of course, and at that point if your characters are in any way sane they shall become Roy's enemies i'm sure haha.

Note that Roy would do whatever it takes to keep you on his side for as long as possible, including lie to you, threaten your family, etc. Let me know if you are interested by dropping a message in this mage, and to all of the dreamers left out there, thank you.

Sure. I'd have to think about why Mal would join this quest, and maybe make a new character if I can't, but I'm definitely interested in getting things going around here again.

Well I could make an opening thread, in fact I'll probably do that soon. You guys could PM how you personally wish to be involved in the story, as it is I imagine I'll have Roy at Ximax already plotting to take their relic. And so my opening post can be to set up the stage. We don't have to dive into everything right away, we can go a couple of rounds of just character interactions. Or if your not feeling that at all, I can get right into it. You can also post here to plot for the story as well if you wish, if we get deep enough into it I'll make a legit OOC thread. XD
