Does anyone know how to resize .jpg images and can either teach me how or would be willing to resize a pic for me?

Hmmm.... sorry Keelin. I think I know how but it isn't the right way to do it, well the 'proper' or easiest way. If you send me the pic I could give it my best shot but I know Gar nows how to do it, he did my pic that I have right now for Atrii  AjRuler@msn.com is my e-mail so send it to me if you want me to try.

Use photoshop, open the picture, resize it using [edit-image size] and then click [file - save for web]
Select JPG from the "format" drop down menu and experiment with the "blur" and "compression" settings until you reach the desired combination of good looks and filesize. Click "ok" and there you have it...

Cool Whoever did it did a 'moderatly' good job ^.^, I havent been using photoshop much because no one gives me work to do as far as sigs or anything go anymore *sigh* owell....

BTW YES I KNOW MY TITLE IS SPELTR WRONG THE ADMINS DO NOT BOTHER TO LISTEN TO ME AND CHANGE IT!!.....*cough* yeah...anyway.....btw keelin your new avatar kinda looks....like a guy ^.-


P.S......by a show of hands how many people think the new name totally sucks and likes sorren/santharia better??

*looks at it* *squints* Yup. Kinda. (I've changed it three times today.) And I did the resizing myself, only I made it smaller than 60x60  and the board stretched it. (I don't own photoshop so I cheated. ^.-)

It's Really good then ^.^.....well depending on how big it was when you started, I can resize it for you in PS if you want....heck I can even change colors add affects and crap like that to mak eit looke like you drew it *shrug* Just depends on what ya want it to look like when i get done with it.

Ok, I guess....I coulda just re-done the last oen for you it looked more like keelin just very....guyish.....just in the nose and eye wich are both easilly remodeled by artistic shaping surgery ((The latest in picture alteration, it looks so real allmost even 3D like" *smile with bright white teeth and a shine of light that makes the sound *ding**))

Erm... Keelin, when the image has as few colours as those two, it's better to use gif than JPG.
It's done the same way as JPG, select the "gif" option from the "format" menu, and see how few colours you can make do with.

This may or may not have been clear before, but I don't own Photoshop. I don't own anything any more sophisticated than Microsoft Paint.

My avatar is a good example of a gif. It has transparancy and animation but it's limited to 256 colours. My avatar is even less.

Try to get a hold of Paint shop pro or search around for some freeware on the net. You need a program to make good gifs and jpgs

, ok no you do NOT need PSP to make gif's or jpg's((or jpeg's *shrug whatever)) you have to set the settings of MSP((Microsoft paint)) to being able to make gif's of jpg's, altho with MSP if you tryt o take a colored picture and make it a gif just to save some file size.....your....going ti be pissed because it just changed the color settings of your purty picture...
