Name/Overview: The Dry Flagon is the Original name but there are many nicknames
Including The Dry Cauldron, The Cursed Cauldron and so on.               The Dry Flagon is a pub specialising in Dwarven Cuisine and drink. The Dr Flagon is in Salóh in the southern part of Sanguia.

Location: As mentioned above The Dry Flagon is in Salóh, the on the southern side of Sanguia, the central state of South Sarvonia. The Dry Flagon is in the Central sector of Salóh where it receives a decent supply of guests, mainly “tourists”, that hold it in the highest of regards.

Function: The use of The Dry Flagon is mainly as a pub but it does have a few guest rooms on the first floor that it lets out to visitors and rarely students of the local mages guild. The Dry Flagon is a pub specialising in Dwarven Cuisine and drinks. It was built by a dwarf from the Thrumgolz clan after being a foodcrafter but deciding to leave because of the lack of other races and he wanted to see some more of the world. After leaving the clan an moving to Salóh he decided to stay and bought a little derelict pub in the centre of town. After thinking about he decided to specialise in Dwarven cuisine and drink, after all he was a foodcrafter.

Description:(as described by a visitor)
At first it looked like a great monolith looming out of the evening mist but after a closer inspection I reckoned it must have been about 12 peds tall and not the Royal Monolith as I first thought. It was a well built and stable building made of wood boarding at the top and a solid stone material with a creaking sign saying “Pub” and then below it the words “The Dry Flagon” attached to the wall. I presumed The Dry Flagon was the name of this pub. Moving yet closer I peered through the windows that seemed to glow with warmth and a sound of muffled laughter, I turned around to see the door swing open and what looked like an elf walk out and then trip and fall on a passing dwarf. I decided to have a look in this newly discovered pub and see if they provided accommodation. I opened the door and peered in, the whole room was centred on a large rectangular table, which seemed full to the brim with dwarfs. To the left of the main table was a bar that took over most of the of the room on that side, it was manned by a scruffy small dwarf that seeing the door open beckoned for me to come over. Walking over I had time to fully understand my surroundings. To the right of the table were more tables with a few solitary elves and men dining. The tables were made out of wood along with the chairs and walls. The whole room was stuffy and almost misty behind me was the door I had just entered through with a sign saying “exit” on it. There were very few windows; about one on each side of the room that instead of letting light in it let the light out.

By now I was at the bar and about to talk to the Dwarf that had beckoned me over he had a small round build, the sort of man who really cared about his food. He had a nice warm, friendly face full of imperfections. He had a white shirt on with the classic brown apron on top. He offered me a drink which I can only presume was a cider of some sort. I gulped it down in one. “Nice pub you’ve got here”  “Ah keeps me going” said the old dwarf handing me another drink that I gulped down again. “You wouldn’t by chance provide accommodation would you” “aye I do 20 Od’s though” Looking in my wallet I found I only had 18 whilst I explained this to the Dwarf he said he’d let me of as long as I came here for my dinner and drinks. Agreeing to this I handed over my money and followed the dwarf across the stone paved floor and up the stone stairs on the right of the big table that was now emptying.

About 10 steps later we came to the first floor that was quite and empty it had wooden walls with pictures on each side of the hall that was about 8 peds long with wooden floor, the rooms were on the left side of the hall and all had numbers on them. I was led to number 3 out of 4. As the door swung open I looked inside it had no windows and the only source of light was a candle sitting on a desk in the far right hand corner of the room and on the left of the wall was an old dilapidated bed. I walked over to it and sat down to try it out, the dwarf looked over at me seeking my approval I nodded and he left the room saying if I needed anything I was to go down stairs and ask for Forkah. I presume that was his name. He left me and I was free too inspect the room, the bed had a white sheet covering it with a brown cloth rolled on top of it at the end, it was supported by a simple wooden frame. The desk was wooden and standing next to a bookshelf stuffed full of books on food and Dwarven tradition, that to was made out of wood along with everything else in the room. I can only assume that the other 3 rooms were exactly the same as everything looked second hand and cheap. The floor had a thick rug in the centre of the room that made the room homely and cosy.

History:
54 A.S   Forkah left his clan to explore age 45.

55 A.S Forkah settles down in Salóh and redesigns The Dry Flagon.

56 A.S Boe Starlinggale Visits The Dry Flagon.

57 A.S Forkah hands over the business to his son Karof.

Hmmm, a dwarven inn?  An interesting concept!  You'll have to do your research, AND follow the place entry template - and I'll be happy to comment in more detail once there is more written.  Do read whatever there is to read about the Dwarven culture, and particularly their food, so that you can decide what might translate well into the human 'aboveground' environment.

Good start but will require some effort to make it entryworthy. If you can handle that - then go ahead!

Hugs,
Judith

Although Bard Judith has to okay this as the dwarven mistress, I will do a thorough check for you once  you have a bit more.  It looks interesting so far!
