Title: Music/Dance/Drama in the Zhunite City States
Post by: Deklitch Hardin on 14 August 2009, 17:10:43
I've really just got two questions on this :D

1) What kind of template would I need to do for it? I'm thinking it would probably be a places template.

2) Which forum/s do I post it in? The continent of Nybelmar forum, the places template, both or somewhere else? Probably places and Nybelmar, I'm thinking, or would just one or the other be sufficient?

Thanks.

Hmmm... Well, I don't know enough about Zhunite stuff to give advise on that particular tribe, but the general question is: What exactly would be the topic/title of the entry? Or do you mean three entries dealing with the various aspects you mention?

Looks to me as if you're describing something "cultural", e.g. "Zhunite Music". We have a section in "Miscellaneous" that covers "Culture and Customs", so such an entry would probably land there and in the Races/Tribes menu as a sub-entry of the Zhunite entry. Don't see anything Places related here, though, it deals with a tribe.

As for a template: Well, as such cultural stuff is very specific, there's no general template for that, so the sections mostly derive from the topic you're discussing and you need to make them up as you go along (see e.g. the Morjualerons (http://www.santharia.com/culture/morjualerons.htm) entry of the [url0http://www.santharia.com/culture/dragonriders_of_aohuo.htm]Dragoneriders[/url] entry to see how others did it.

Essentially, Dek, it seems to be a case of what you wanted to cover when you first proposed it in the construction zone (i.e. Instruments Used, Dances performed, Purpose, History, Notable Performers ETC.) become the sections of your entry.
