Title: The Stratanians
Post by: Tar Alcamatar on 29 August 2001, 07:09:00
Once one of the power full tribes in south Sarvonia there glory has beginned to fade.
the Sarvonians used to be an un ruly mob of nomadic tribes until a powerful War Lord known as
Garkuna 'Thunderer'.
In just two years of endless slaughters the whole of south sarvonia came to be under Garkuna's rule.
However only after ten years of ruling garkuna was assasinated by an enemy from th centaurion tribe.
his son Kazad the Glorious added a few more tribes to his empire.
however he left his name in the history books by becoming the first ruler to pass on the caste system.
only in three years of empire the Stratanians had become the most powerful force economically and military wise in all of sarvonia.  however the first two empereors Garkuna and kazad wre the only true
Statanian emperors.  after Kazads death ( his rule lasted 80 years ) the empire began to turn chaotic.
In just 200 years just before the first great sarvonian war the empire probaly the greatest seen in sarvonia dissapeared.

Milord,
before I'll begin commenting, let me first welcome you to the board, as you seem to be new.

Now I hope not to disappoint you, but as you may read in the tribe section of this site the Stratanians are already elaborated and described. However, you could always stay around a little longer and see if your ideas might fit in another part of our (Artimidor's) world. I suggest you contact Artimidor, the webmaster, sage and starter of all this and see if you can be of help in worlddeveloping at artimidor@yahoo.com.

Enjoy your stay here, hope to see you around.

Just wanted to mention that you should be careful as Gean Firefeet is defending his 'golden eggs' like a Frostdragon its breed! ;)

Hey, I never said I was the one who wrote about the Stratanians?
But I must admit it was me, maybe I should have said that in my first post, maybe that was the clue of the first post, I dunno really.

Well, hello from my side too, Tar!

Fresh ideas are always welcomed, however, you should take into account that there may exist other ideas already for this region/kingdom which haven't found their way to the site yet. Therefore it would be wise to put things to discussion, make proposals, hint at what you'd plan before you make something definite. We have to assure that everything fits together, so just go one step after the other before you elaborate more details. I'm sure if you follow these principles we'll find a way how you can contribute effectively;)

hi tar

Hey, maybe Gean would like to come and protect my beloved forest from nasty pasty Koldar. He wants to chop down my tree cities :(

Hi Tar.

Not meaning to seem rude, but the proper channels are usually to introduce yourself in the forum, get to know a few people, then ask if something would be allowed. Only then can you begin working on something. A lot of people have been doing the same things around here, so you're not alone. But why don't we get to know you first. Please?

Hey Wren, anytime, just ask.
Not sure if I have the time though, still alot to find out in dusty books in ancient Stratanian library but maybe you know an easy way of communication/teleportation so that I can pop in every once in a while? ;)

Hey! I never said I _will_ chop your beloved trees but that we _would_ have to if the RPG-editor cannot handle treecities! So there's really no reason to be concerned in any particular way! ;)
